เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม 2020 เวลา 11.00 น. บราเดอร์วรายุทธ เจริญภูมิ, ซดบ ได้ ปฏิญาณตนตลอดชีวติ พร้อมกับสมาชิกซาเลเซียนอีก 3 ท่าน ณ บ้านเณรเทวศาสตร์ซาเลเซียน ราติสบอน กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม ประเทศอิสราเอล โดย คุณพ่อสตานิสเลาส์ สวามิกันนู อธิการ เป็นประธานในพิธี Jerusalem, Israel, May 2020. On 24 May, on the occasion of the feast day of Mary Help of Christians, four members of the Salesian community of Ratisbonne made their Perpetual Profession: Alpheus Chima Agbo (AFW), Charoenphoom Paul Warayut (THA), John Anthony Sathish Paul (INM) and Mwale Nelson (ZMB). The celebration, broadcast live from the main chapel of the community, was presided by the Director, Fr Stanislaus Swamikannu, and was followed by hundreds of people around the world. สาร อัคราธิการ โปสเตอร์ พระหฤทัยฯ

WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT THE YOUNG IN OUR LIVES?
The young people told us that they love us, that they really love us as educators, and like friends, brothers, and parents, since, they added, the young people of today suffer from a great dearth of fatherly care and concern. Perhaps this sounds like a strange question to you, my dear friends and readers of the Salesian Bulletin who love Don Bosco. Along the course of my life I have met many adults for whom young people are but a segment of the population of whom you must be wary, on the alert, and on your guard. Believe me when I tell you that this is a more commonplace view than you might think. Could this kind of reasoning possibly be due to insecurity, fear, or stem from a mentality that is very different ...? On the other hand, I have always thought to myself - and I now repeat it to myself after the close of our recent General Chapter XXVIII in Valdocco-Turin (in the very places where our Father Don Bosco lived with his boys) - that young people are our raison d’être. Just as was the case with Don Bosco and his ‘birichini’, the young make us better, helping us expand our hearts, making us more generous, and leading us to regard life with hope and a with smile on our face. I truly believe this is so. If there should be a Salesian educator, whether consecrated or lay, who does not feel this, then he or she is simply someone who is a mere “worker” earning a living in the field of education but not living the ‘art of education’ with a passion. There were 16 young people from five continents who accompanied us on our journey at the General Chapter. These young adults were between the ages of 25 and 30. As soon as they arrived, they connected with each other and with us in a wonderful manner. Indeed, let me share with you what they told us and asked of us. “We succeeded in having our hearts beat in unison. You have given us the opportunity to connect with you, Salesians, whom we want to be among us. You did this in your Salesian style. Stay with us, side-by-side, and allow us to be protagonists, too.” Both they and we came to understand a number of things. One of them, which was very interesting to me was this: The young people told us that it was difficult for them to understand each other due not only to the diversity of languages (since not everyone knew English, 2

it could not be used as a bridge), but also because they found it very difficult to understand one another’s concepts, mentalities, customs, and values. And they were all young adults in the group! There was no generation gap among them! When they were speaking with me about this, I said that I understood them and asked them to make the effort to understand the Salesians they know who live in Communities where there are people of different ages,nationalities, and mentalities. They told me that they had never thought of it that way but that now they would since they themselves had experienced this problem firsthand. In other words, we came to the agreement that becoming Community and carrying out projects in common don’t just happen due to similarity and the same likes but, rather, through a free choice made to unite for the same cause, with similar values. The rest comes from effort and faith. Those same young people (both girls and boys) told us things that left us speechless. Perhaps
they were things that we ourselves could have come up with, but when we heard them from their lips in that huge gathering, it had a shocking effect. The young people told us that they love us, that they really love us as educators, and like friends, brothers, and parents, since, they added, the young people of today suffer from a great dearth of fatherly care and concern. They asked us to be their companions on the road. They told us they don’t need us to tell them what to do and what not to do. They don’t want us to make things easy for them. What they don’t need is for us to tell them how they have to think and live. But they do want us by their side even when they make mistakes. They asked us to accompany them along the path of life and to stay close to them as well while they go through the steps of making important decisions. I was moved to hear them say, with tears in their eyes, that they needed us to show them that God loves them, that there is a God who is Love and who loves them
unconditionally and that someone needs to keep repeating this over and over again to every young person in this world today. We were left speechless. Yet again, the young people evangelized us. It was one of my predecessors,

Vecchi, who once wrote that “young people save us”. So it is! The young save us from getting into a rut and from the kind of fatigue that no amount of sleep can fix. They save us from becoming comfortable, from living a life without hope and without faith. They ultimately save us from being mediocre people. Dear young people, we Salesians of today’s world tell you that we love you, that our life is for you, and that, just as it was for Don Bosco, “For you I study, for you I work, for you I live, and for you I am even willing to give my very life.” I wish you every happiness in the Lord.

พิธีปลงศพคุณพ่อสุเทพ ช้อนทอง Funeral of Fr. John Baptist Suthep Chornthong วันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2020 เวลา 09.00 น.บิชอปโยเซฟ ประธาน ศรีดารุณศีล เป็นประธานในพิธบี ชู าขอบพระคุณปลงศพ ของคุณพ่อยอห์น บัปติสต์ สุเทพ ช้อนทอง ณ วัดนักบุญโยเซฟ อ.บ้านโป่ง จ.ราชบุรี โดยมีบรรดาสมาชิกซาเลเซียน สมาชิก ครอบครัวซาเลเซียน บาดหลวง ญาติพี่น้องและสัตบุรุษมาร่วม ในพิธี คุณพ่อสุเทพ ช้อนทองสิ้นใจวันที่ 26 พฤษภาคม 2020 สิริอายุ 66 ปี เป็นนักบวช 46 ปี และเป็นพระสงฆ์ 38 ปี On 30 May 2020, at 09.00 hrs, Bishop Joseph Prathan Sradarunsil presided at the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on the occasion of the funeral of Fr. John Baptist Suthep Chornthong, held at St. Joseph Parish Church, Banpong, Ratchaburi Province. Many salesian confreres, members of the Salesian Family, diocesan priests and religious, relatives and the faithful joined in this solemn moment. Fr. Suthep Chornthong died on 26 May 2020. He was 66 years old, with 46 years as religious, and 38 years as priest.
ร่วมอาลัยกับครอบครัวคุณพ่ออ�ำนวยและบ.วรวุฒิ Our Condolences to the Families of Fr.Amnuai and of Bro.Worawut คณะซาเลเซียนขอร่วมอาลัยกับครอบครัว “ฤทัยคงถาวร” และ ครอบครัว “จิรสุจริตธรรม” ที่พระเจ้าทรงเรียก กาธารีนา เซ่เตียง ฤทัยคงถาวร (มารดาของคุณพ่ออ�ำนวยและซิสเตอร์ อมรินทร์ ฤทัยคงถาวร) เมื่อวันที่ 11 พฤษภาคม 2020 และยอแซฟ วัชระ จิ ร สุ จ ริ ต ธรรม (พี่ ช ายของภราดาวรวุ ฒิ จิ ร สุ จ ริ ต ธรรม) กลับไปยังบ้านพระบิดา เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2020 The Salesians would like to condole with the ‘Ruethaikhongthavorn’ and the ‘Jirasujarittham’ families whose members, namely, Catherine Setiang Ruethaikhongthavorn [the mother of Fr. Amnuai and Sister Amarinth] was taken up by the Lord on 11 May 2020, and Joseph Vachara [elder brother of Bro. Worawut, SDB] who was taken up by the Lord on 19 May 2020, respectively.
แจกอาหารชุมชนริมคลองล�ำสาลี Meeting the Residents Along Lam Salee Canal เช้ า วั น เสาร์ ที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2020 แผนก PDO คณะซาเลเซียน จัดแจกอาหาร จ�ำนวน 200 ชุดในโครงการ “ใน เรือล�ำเดียวกัน” ให้กับผู้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ที่ชุมชนริมคลองล�ำสาลี กรุงเทพมหานคร ชาวบ้านส่วนใหญ่ มากกว่า 90% เป็นพีน่ อ้ งมุสลิม อาศัยอยูเ่ ลียบริมคลอง ซึง่ มีบา้ น หลายหลังถูกเวรคืนที่ดิน On Saturday morning, 16 May 2020, the Salesian PDO of Thailand shared 200 food packages to the residents along Lam Salee Canal, Bangkok under the ‘In the same Boat’ Project who were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Approximately 90% of the residents are Muslims, living along the canal. The lands of many residents has been expropriated by the government.
ปันน�้ำใจ สู้ภัยโควิด 19 วันเสาร์ที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2020 แผนก PDO คณะ ซาเลเซี ย น จั ด แจกอาหาร ให้ กั บ ชาวบ้ า นกว่ า 300 คน ในโครงการ “ในเรือล�ำ เดียวกัน” เพือ่ ผูร้ บั ผลกระทบ แจกถุงยังชีพที่ดอนบอสโกโฮม จากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ที่ ชุมชนมูซอและชุมชนใกล้เคียงย่านพัฒนาการ กรุงเทพมหานคร และได้มอบถุงยังชีพให้กับ 100 ครอบครัว โดยมีตัวแทนของ สมาชิกซาเลเซียน ซิสเตอร์คณะผูร้ บั ใช้ฯ สมาชิก ADMA และศิษย์เก่า ซาเลเซียน มาร่วมกันแจกอาหารและสิ่งของต่างๆด้วย

เมือ่ วันเสาร์ที่ 6 มิถนุ ายน 2020 แผนก PDO ของคณะซาเลเซียน ร่วมกับศิษย์เก่าสามเณรซาเลเซียนและตัวแทน ADMA ได้แจก ข้าวสารอาหารแห้งเพื่อบรรเทาผู้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ โควิด-19 ให้กับแรงงานชาวเมียนมา เด็กๆของศูนย์เมอซี่ และ ผูม้ รี ายได้นอ้ ยในย่านหมูบ่ า้ นนักกีฬาแหลมทอง ณ บ้านดอนบอสโกโฮม กรุงเทพกรีฑา 6

เยาวชนอิตาเลียนในประเทศไทยรับศีลก�ำลัง Confirmation of an Italian Youth in Thailand วันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2020 เวลา 18.15 น พระอัครสังฆราช พอล ชาง อิน-นัม พระสมณทูตวาติกันประจ�ำประเทศไทย กัมพูชา พม่าและลาว เป็นประธานในพิธีโปรดศีลก�ำลังให้กับ เด็กชาวอิตาเลียนจ�ำนวน 5 คน ที่วัดน้อยแม่พระองค์อุปถัมภ์ ศาลาแดง กรุงเทพฯ พวกเขาทั้ง 5 คน ได้รับการสอนค�ำสอน และการเตรียมตัวรับศีลก�ำลังจากครู Cristina Di Luigi และ คุณพ่อชาร์ลส เวลาร์โด ซดบ. ผูร้ บั ผิดชอบคริสตชนชาวอิตาเลียน ในประเทศไทย On 30 May 2020, at 18.15 hours, Archbishop Paul Chang In-Nam, the Apostolic Nuncio to Thailand Cambodia - Myanmar - and Laos, was the presider at the imposition of the Sacrament of Confirmation to five [5] Italian youth at the Chapel of Mary Help of Christians, Sala Daeng, Bangkok. They had received catechetical instructions and preparation for the reception of this sacrament from Cristina di Luigi and from Fr. Charles Velardo, the chaplain in-charge of the catholic Italians in Thailand.

วันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2020 คณะกรรมการค�ำสอนครอบครัว ซาเลเซียนจัดประชุมครั้งที่ 1-2020 ณ ส�ำนักงานเจ้าคณะแขวง ซาเลเซียน ในการประชุมครัง้ นีบ้ ชิ อปโยเซฟ ประธาน ศรีดารุณศีล ได้ให้เกียรติร่วมประชุมและให้ข้อคิดกับคณะกรรมการด้วย อนึ่ง คณะกรรมการนี้ประกอบไปด้วยสมาชิกและตัวแทนครูฆราวาส ของคณะซาเลเซียน คณะธิดาแม่พระองค์อุปถัมภ์ คณะผู้รับใช้ฯ คณะภคินีพระราชินีมาเรีย สถาบันธิดาพระราชินีมาเรีย VDB และซาเลเซียนผู้ร่วมงาน ซึ่งได้จัดตั้งเมื่อเดือนสิงหาคม ปี 2018 เพื่อร่วมมือกันในการพัฒนางานค�ำสอน On 27 May 2020, the members of the Catechetical Commission of the Salesian Family held their first meeting at the Provincial House. In this meeting, Bishop Joseph Prathan Sridarunsil gave honor to the group by attending and greeting the participants, and sharing a message. Among the participants were members and lay representatives of the Salesians, the Salesian Sisters, the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Sisters of the Queenship of Mary, the Institute of the Queenship of Mary, the VDB, the Salesian Cooperators. This body has been set up on August 2018 in order to have close cooperation among the members and in order to further develop the teaching of catechism.
วันที่ 24 พฤษภาคม 2020 โอกาสฉลองวัดแม่พระองค์อปุ ถัมภ์ กรุงเทพกรีฑา ทางวัดได้จดั กิจกรรม แบ่งเป็น 2 ช่วงคือ ในภาคเช้าเป็นกิจกรรมพิเศษ ภายใต้โครงการ “มารียอ์ ปุ ถัมภ์ น�ำเราให้ ใส่ใจกัน” โดยคุณพ่ออารอน อัลโกเซบา เจ้าอาวาส ตัวแทนสัตบุรษุ และสามเณรซาเลเซียนบ้านสามพราน ได้นำ� ถุงยังชีพไปมอบให้ชาวชุมชนในเขตหนองจอก จ�ำนวน 600 ครอบครัว ส่วนในตอนเย็น เวลา 17.00 น. มิพิธีบูชาขอบพระคุณสมโภชแม่พระองค์อุปถัมภ์ ณ วัดแม่พระองค์อุปถัมภ์ กรุงเทพกรีฑา โดย บิชอป โยเซฟ ประธาน ศรีดารุณศีล เป็นประธานในพิธี On 24 May 2020, on the occasion of the feast day of Mary Help of Christians Church, Krungthepkritha, the faithful organized two related activities. During the day, there was a special project under the title “Mary Help of Christians Leads Us To Care For Each Other”. Fr. Aaron Alcoseba, the parish rector, the representatives of the faithful, the postulants and confreres from the salesian community of Sampran, brought 600 food packages to the Chalong Krung Community, Nong Jok District. In the evening, at 17.00 hours, there was the liturgical celebration of Mary Help of Christians, with Bishop Joseph Prathan Sridarunsil as the presider, together with the salesian confreres and the faithful.
