Loser, Dachstein and Totes Gebirge – the 52 suites of Narzissenhotel Bad Aussee offer a unique panoramic view over the different mountain formations. The interior combines modern elements with nuances of tradition. On top of this, the hotel offers all-round culinary experiences. “In our house, we indulge guests with three different gastronomies – in the Narzissenrestaurant, the sauna bistro and the bath gastronomy,” explains Irene Gattermaier-Ruppe, head of the resort at the Narzissen Vital Resort.

Adjacent to the hotel is an outstanding saltwater bath. “The Narzissen Vital Resort presents itself as a relaxing wellness oasis including a saltwater bath and a multi-facetted sauna landscape in which our guests can experience a wellness holiday of a special kind – views over the majestic mountains included,” Gattermeier-Ruppe emphasises. More than 500 square metres of water surface, and water temperatures between 28 and 40 degrees, as well as five different types of saunas, are among the spa’s highlights. Central focus point, nonetheless, is the illuminated salt crystal in the middle of the swimming hall. The spa is a retreat for spirit, body and soul, and with Ausseer Sole, natural saltwater, it uses the natural healing power of the region. Thereby, treatments not only focus on wellness, but also the health of guests.

Guests of the Narzissenhotel Bad Aussee benefit from an extended wellness area: “The difference between regular spas and our retreat is that next to classic wellness treatments like massages and spa packages we also perform medically indicated prevention-, therapeutic- and rehabilitation treatments,” explains Stefanie Kickinger, head of medical wellness and medical fitness. With the medical fitness approach, the spa hotel combines holistic medical and therapeutic competences. Fitness enthusiasts additionally have the option to train on modern Technogym equipment.
