Wines to unwind with this Autumn

What better way to unwind during a November evening than with a glass of Württemberg’s finest? Or how tastier to brighten the dark nights than with a bottle of Baden’s best? With that thought in mind, we heartily recommend these two tantalising white wines this season...

ALDINGER’S 2019 SAUVIGNON BLANC RESERVE DRY | WÜRTTEMBERG

Dominated by fruity aromas of kiwi, blackcurrant and gooseberry, this dry Sauvignon Blanc also contains hints of herbal influences and spicy notes of bell pepper. On the palate, it has flavours of lime, as well as an exciting animated acidity.

DR HEGER’S 2016 WEISSBURGUNDER SONETT QBA DRY | BADEN

This premium Pinot Blanc has light and fresh notes of citrus and green apple. Its acidity is perfectly balanced by its fruity body, making it a very quaffable wine. Well-structured and dense, but without any heaviness.
