2019 President’s Message As I reflect on the past year and our current sociopolitical environment, I am given hope by all of our collective efforts. We cannot control all that is around us, but we can take steps to ensure that we do our part in this journey. Change is all around our daily lives and those changes are certainly prevalent in our industry. What seems like an attack on our industry by many groups, to me seems like a wonderful opportunity to rethink the way that we advocate for our members and clients. We mustn’t forget about SAMCAR’s mission, which is to ensure professionalism, protect property rights, promote the ownership of real property, and help our members achieve success, but must also think of better ways to do that. It’s often said that life is about change. Sometimes it’s painful. Sometimes it’s beautiful. But most of the time it’s both. I look forward to helping lead SAMCAR and our industry this year. I thank you all for your support and ask for your continual advocacy so we can make 2019 one of the best years in organized real estate.
