Welcome to David Mason Design.
Screw knob
Turn screw knob clockwise to tighten the mechanism and produce a fine grind, and anti-clockwise to produce a coarse grind. To re-fill the pepper or salt mill fully unscrew the knob and take off the top.
We are a UK based company with over 50 years experience in the design and manufacture of pepper and salt mills.
These mills have an advanced polyacetal mechanism, renowned for being hard wearing and the quality of the grind.
Materials
David Mason Design only use the finest grade materials. The design, manufacture and production of millls is tightly controlled to ensure quality throughout the process.
These mills have a ceramic mechanism giving an even and consistant grind time after time.

Mechanism
All our mills incorporate a copyrighted ‘Spring Tension’ system. This helps in the adjustment of the grinder via the ‘screw knob’ for either pepper or salt depending on what is being used in your mill.
