Connoisseurs Vintage Camartina 2008, The Stellar Supertuscan with Vibrant Longevity Camartina, as one of the original wines that became known as ‘Supertuscan’ has come to represent the very idea of wine making excellence. This wine’s silky smooth interpretation of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese embodies Querciabella's quest for finesse, balance and sheer drinkability. Camartina is made with the serious wine collector in mind. Its ability to age graciously is one of the most important qualities our winemakers look for when selecting which carefully barrelled lot makes the final cuvee. Camartina 2008 is beckoning to be plucked from the cellar, in perfect synchronization with the upcoming holiday season, making for an elegant centerpiece to any gourmet gathering. 

Querciabella & Nemanti

When Milan Fashion Week kicked off this past Fall, Querciabella's owner, Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni celebrated his stellar wines alongside Italy’s glittering plantbased shoe designer Paola Caracciolo of Nemanti in a popup exhibition on via Fiori Chiari, creating the epicenter of Italian ethical-luxury. After decades of status quo, a truly unique and compassionate offering of Italian artistry was on show in the Brera district, giving consumers a choice of products that maintain awardwinning quality while continuing to set a higher bar in their respective markets for reducing environmental impact whilst embracing animal-friendly methods. Both Querciabella and Nemanti have proven that top-tier luxury can be achieved without making compromises.

Science has helped spur the quickly rising trend of vegan diets and vegan-focused companies as it is the single most beneficial consumer behavior for reducing many of the world’s problems including climate, water and land damage, as well as increasing animal rights. Querciabella and Nemanti unite as disruptors for a more forward-thinking Made-In-Italy image. Apart from being talented and creative, both Sebastiano and Paola are two industry leaders that have strong sensibilities for what is right and have impact-driven visions. Because of their efforts, one can choose an Italian quality shoe that is made from apple and grain, or enjoy a juicy glass of Tuscan wine made from grapes that are born from thriving terroir and chemical & animal free processes. Querciabella and Nemanti are steering Italian industry into a more sustainable future where clean water, fertile land, and animal health thrive alongside the best of Italy's talents – shoes and wine! 

Querciabella teams with Vegan Chef Leslie Durso & Sapori Ticino at The View

The first festival of vegetarian culture, ‘Ticino Vegetariano’ organized by gourmand Dany Stauffacher of Sapori Ticino Saveurs Agency, kicked off its celebrations with a preevent vegan dinner by Californian VIP chef, Leslie Durso, and was held at The View restaurant in Paradiso, Lugano in late October. The event was sponsored by Sapori Ticino, Querciabella, and The View restaurant, and documented by food bloggers and local television stations. Chef Durso’s delicious vegan creations were accompanied by organic, biodynamic, and vegan Querciabella wines: Batàr 2013, Querciabella Chianti Classico 2014, and Camartina 2011. The delectable nine course plant-based meal inspired by Italian, Californian, and Mexican cultures delighted guests. Since the early age of eight, Chef Leslie Durso has been an outspoken Southern Californian plant-based and animal welfare influencer. When she’s not in private celebrity kitchens, she can be found educating her audience online at LeslieDurso.com about the benefits of a healthy and sustainable culinary focus. Chef Durso has just recently announced her partnership with vegan culinary academy Plantlab with available classes starting in Winter 2018. 
