ΤΨ CHAPTER 2008 Clifton Ford President James Winters Vice President DeMarcus Douglas Secretary Myron Driver Treasurer Joseph Brandon Chaplain

Words cannot express the magic that was created during the weekend of October 9-11, 2009 as Alpha Phi Alpha old and new ascended on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin for the Homecoming festivities. Brothers came from all over to celebrate brotherhood, embrace change, and renew their spirit in this brotherhood known to us all as Alpha. It has always been my dream to see the day that a UTM Homecoming…felt like a true home. The masses of brothers that flooded to show support to the college chapter are the first group that I must thank. You showed up in masses and definitely left a lasting imprint in the minds of the neophytes and in the conscience of current and former students. The second group that I would like to thank would be the young brothers of the Tau Psi Chapter. You gentlemen were the perfect hosts and planned out a very entertaining weekend. Perhaps the moment that I shall never forget will be the festivities on that Sunday, when the brothers (old and new) shared words and thoughts about our fair Alpha. God Speed My Good Brothers

Brothers, the mid-term assessment showed me that the brothers needed to shape up and put more efforts into their studies. Although many brought in fairly good grades, the majority were struggling in some classes. I pray that this is not going to be the reflection during finals. Brothers, please pray for Bro. Willie Davis (Mu Beta Charter Member). He lost his mother. Tau Psi will observe a Founder’s Week November 30 through December 6. If any brothers are interested in being the Founder’s Day Speaker, please let me know. Congrats to any brother that has celebrated a birthday for the Months of October and November. District Conference is November 19 – 22 in Memphis, please come out and support the step team if you can. Any brothers that want to go out and eat together, lets arrange something. Special thanks to Brother Corey Johnson, Brother Clint Anderson, Bro. Eric Hubbard, and Bro. Russell Heaston for everything! One last shout out to Bro. Otha Earl Mabry on the nuptials!
