It was the first weekend mask mandates lifted in SC from the Covid-19 shutdown, and outdoor events could take place. Will and I met in person for the first time at Greenville/ Pickens racetrack just before I watched him climb into his late model stock car with the number 41 on it, where he grabbed my attention and got my heart racing for what would be the rest of my life. A week beforehand, Facebook had suggested I “friend” him. What was unusual, was that we had no mutual friends. Something deep inside me told me to just do it because there was a reason, and though it felt silly, I did. Fast forward 2 1/2 years, and yet again, the stars aligned for us- this time under a vacation sunset on Hurghada beach off the Red Sea in mid- November. Will carried my ring through Egypt with him on our travels, waiting until he felt the moment was right to get down on one knee. Our engagement couldn’t have been more romantic. We began to plan our marriage for 1 year later, and chose fall as our season for the rich color aesthetics, as we appreciate the glory of nature, and the way it brings people together. We chose our very suiting wedding date to be 11/11 of 2023. Our wishes for our wedding have come true, just as our stories, and we will cherish these moments forever!

CHANDLER & MITCHELL
We first met in March 2020 on Friday the 13th, just days before the world shut down,
and had no idea what was about to happen. After a few dates that summer, a door being shut in someone’s (Mitchell’s) face and months spent apart, we picked up right where we left off. We spent the spring and summer doing our favorite things: grilling out with friends at Chandler’s apartment, brunching, spending days by the pool and adventuring to new cities together. After months of long distance, hundreds of phone calls and thousands of miles driven, Mitchell decided that Chandler was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Mitchell took his mom “just to look” at engagement rings, but bought one that day. In January 2022 Chandler said “Yes!” and we moved one step closer to leaving long distance behind for good. 106

Khusbu and Mohit met each other in the fall through one of their best friends at Garba in Khusbu’s hometown. As they began to spend more time with each other over the next two years, they created a wholesome friendship that grew stronger. Mohit asked Khusbu to be his girlfriend and since that day they began a journey they knew would last a lifetime. Through many ups and downs in life, their bond grew stronger, and their love matured into a beautiful testament of devotion and compassion. They started off as two kids in love and helped each other grow into the adults they are today. They were hand in hand as they both finished their education and began their dream careers. After 5 years of dating, Mohit proposed to Khusbu in Makua Beach, Hawaii. He planned the most stunning proposal with the help of friends & family. After 7 years of dating, they finally became Mr. & Mrs. Gupta during multiple days of celebration at the Spartanburg Marriott hotel.
