The Haunting of the Old Fire Station The Fountain, Hawkin Street The windows of the Old Fire Station have been transformed by artist Sheila Byrne into a haunted house. Featuring the City of Bones, they will be illuminated over the three nights of the Halloween weekend.

The Haunting of Alexander House Bishop Street / Nailor’s Row The upper windows in Alexander House have been transformed and lit up to feature spooky shape shifting birds, created by artist Sheila Byrne with some of the residents.

Free Derry Corner Light Installation/Animation Free Derry Corner, Bogside A bespoke Halloween themed animation has been created and will be projected onto Free Derry Corner over the three nights of the Halloween weekend.

Pumpkin Patches Visit our Scary Pumpkin Patches in The Fountain Allotments, Sally Port and Peace Garden at Nailor’s Row.

The Spooky Shadows A Streets Alive Collaboration between Banyan Theatre, The Fountain Controlled PS, Gaelscoil Éadain Mhóir, St Eugene’s PS, Long Tower PS and Nazareth House. Five spooky panels will be illuminated and installed in a different location each evening - in The Fountain, The Peace Park (Nailor’s Row), The Bankin and Free Derry Corner.

Youth Club Workshop Programme 25th – 28th October Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Makeup Streets Alive are facilitating a number of workshops in the youth clubs based with the Urban Villages area – Long Tower, Cathedral, Youth First, Bishop Street and Pilot’s Row. FULLY BOOKED

Storytelling Session for Alexander House Residents Friday 29th October at 2.30pm Residents will be treated to a spooky Halloween themed storytelling session, facilitated by Libraries NI Storytellers in Residence.

Horror Film Workshops and Premiere Saturday 30th October – Online Féile TV at 9pm Young people from Bishop Street, Cathedral and Long Tower Youth Clubs have spent the past few weeks collaborating with local film maker Séan Coyle to create three mini–Halloween Horror Movies. The films will be premiered on Féile TV over the Halloween weekend.

TAMHI (Tackling Awareness of Mental Health Issues) are taking Derry by storm this Halloween, bringing their most powerful Superheros along to connect and engage children & young people in unique sport activities and games to raise awareness of mental health and resilience. Come along dressed up in your best costume & and meet The Captain, Mr. Awesome & Action Man for a fun filled active afternoon! Suitable for ages 7 and over. Booking is essential as numbers are limited. Registration for tickets opens Tuesday 26 October at 12 noon.
