Bookbug in the Garden Bookbug is BACK! Join us for interactive Bookbug sessions in Dunfermline and St Andrews. In Dunfermline, we’ll be in the gorgeous gardens at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries and then go inside on a VIP guest tour of the EXPLORE! Travellers and Trailblazers exhibition. Tuesdays at 10.30am & 1.30pm on 13, 20 & 27 July and 3 August At St Andrews, the fun will be in the gardens of St Andrews Museum, where we will be inspired by the museum’s Art-tastic exhibition and the beautiful grounds. Every Wednesday and Saturday at 11am between 14 July & 7 August Bookbug sessions are for families with children aged 0 – 4 but spaces are limited. Booking is essential as we won’t be able to accept walk-ins on the day. You’ll find all the details you need at www.onfife.com/summer2021


Craft events Explore! Travellers & Trailblazers Family holiday fun at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries Looking for some interesting and fun things to fill the time over the summer holidays? This summer let us take your family on an epic adventure! Get hands-on at one of our craft sessions inspired by our world and its universe – perfect for 5–11- year-old explorers! Workshops at 11.30am and 2.30pm on Tuesdays 13, 20 & 27 July and 3 August. Places are free but must be booked in advance. Visit www.onfife.com/summer2021 for details. Kirkcaldy Family Partnership Events Get out and about in Kirkcaldy to find out what’s on offer for children this summer. Free books and art explorer packs to early birds! Art Events Art-tastic Bunting in the Park 1pm on the 17, 21, 31 Jul & 4 Aug Bring your wee ones along to create their own three-flag mini bunting inspired by paintings in our art exhibition using collage, paints and embellishments. Banner Making 1pm on the 14, 24 & 28 July Help turn our outdoor space into a gallery by creating an amazing artwork on a banner to be displayed around our museum. Expressive Planting 1pm on 7 August A chance to create an eco pot inspired by the selection of paintings in our current exhibition. Children will use their imaginations to express feelings, moods and stories through colour, patterns and shapes. All materials provided. Come wearing clothes suitable for painting. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All craft sessions last approximately 90 minutes and places must be booked through www.onfife.com/summer2021
