Christ For the City International CFCI believes in developing ministry bases that help mobilize churches, Christian organizations, and the community; helping them work together to help meet the needs of people. Together with government officials, local businesses, churches, and educational entities, CFCI helps cities determine their areas of greatest need (joblessness, children at-risk, etc). Then, CFCI missionaries foster the development and implementation of plans to meet these needs. Currently, CFCI serves in 18 countries through over 540 Christian workers. Each city base looks different as it meets the greatest needs in the area. Our ministries include feeding programs, educational classes, tutoring, job skill training, Bible studies, leadership training, community engagement, drug rehab, human trafficking, and medical/dental clinics.

CFCI - Las Vegas How we got Here
Las Vegas is a long way from eastern Pennsylvania. That’s where we had been until 2008, when God gripped our hearts and brought us to Kingman, AZ, where we had been serving until 2014. That’s when He began to focus our attention on Las Vegas. We began to pray and make trips, and He began to open doors, making clear His will for us to relocate. Well we are now here, meeting with local ministry leaders, pastors, and city officials. We can see God is at work in this city and we believe He has led us here for such a time as this.
Our Passion
Build Bridges—NOT Walls. We desire to help connect ministries and churches to enable synergistic impact on their communities. Because of our difficult experiences growing up, we have a passion to minister to hurting and hopeless young people, especially those trapped in the foster system and those being trafficked. We want to use the ministry training we have received to effectively minister to young people so they can love God and serve Him without fear and condemnation.
We believe Satan has had Sin City long enough; God is doing a new thing. The Bible says you must first bind the strongman before you can plunder his house. This is where you come in. We must increase prayer across the face of the city. Only a Church that is unified in love and purpose can break Satan’s stronghold in a place like Vegas. We love to network with different churches, ministries, and agencies so we can find ways to work together to help set people free. Do you like to pray? The vision of Christ For the City International is that there would be: No place without a witness, No church without a vision, and No person without hope. We believe God has led us here to begin to identify areas of need and find resources to meet those needs. One of the tools we have is called: Urban Plunge urbanplunge.com This weekend mission experience is designed to give young people the opportunity to serve at 8 or 9 different inner-city ministries and then challenge them to find a place to serve when they get home. We also have a one day Plunge designed for adult small groups. Human Trafficking We believe that there are many victims trapped in Human Trafficking. We are working with a Task Force in Las Vegas to end trafficking by both rescuing the victims and shrinking the demand. Raise up a generation of leaders with the heart of Jesus. Yes, these are God-size goals, but we don’t want to settle for lessening the problem; we want to finish it.
