CATS AND DOGS: PAWS UNITE It’s been 10 years since the creation of the Great Truce, an elaborate joint-species surveillance system designed and monitored by cats and dogs to keep the peace when conflicts arise. But when a tech-savvy villain hacks into wireless networks to use frequencies only heard by cats and dogs, he manipulates them into conflict, and the worldwide battle between cats and dogs is BACK ON! Now, a team of inexperienced and untested agents will have to use their old-school animal instincts to restore order and peace.
Five teenage mutants - Mirage, Wolfsbane, Cannonball, Sunspot, and Magik - undergo treatments at a secret institution that will cure them of their dangerous powers. But as their memories return, they start to qusetion why they are being held and who is trying to destroy them.

SAINT MAUD
15 1h 24m
The debut film from writer-director Rose Glass, Saint Maud is a chilling and boldy original version of faith, madness, and salvation in a fallen world. Maud, a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul - but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to end her holy calling.

Rubika Shah’s energising film charts a vital London protest movement, formed in 1976 Rock Against Racism (RAR). White Riot blends fresh interviews with queasy archive footage to recreate a hostile environment of anti-immigrant hysteria and National Front marches. As RAR founder Red Saunders comments: “We peeled away the Union Jack to reveal the swastika.” Winner of ‘Best Documentary’ at BFI London Film Festival 2019.

Following its critically acclaimed opening in London earlier this year, Uncle Vanya, a new adaptation of the Anton Chekhov masterpiece by Conor McPherson, directed by Ian Rickson, was abruptly halted as the world went into lockdown. But the exquisite ensemble cast overcame the considerable challenges of working in a global pandemic to return to the Harold Pinter Theatre to film the ‘perfect’ production. Marrying the intimacy of the screen with the electricity of live performance in an exciting new hybrid of film and theatre, Uncle Vanya is a must-see event for our times.
