“We Got Games” FAYCREST STUDIOS are a hot new Mobile gaming studio in Novi Michigan. In the early Spring of 2017, the Studio was founded by Eileen Massarello & James Zitnik. Eileen & James are two talented design students who met in College and decided to combine their skills to do what they both love, make games. Since their collision of talent took place, they have created two amazing games. "Forever Fox." A 2D endless runner that's fast paced and exciting! You have to jump over obstacles in the ground, meerkats that pop out of the holes, crabs snatching at you, and many more. If that isn’t enough chaos, watch out from the skies...There's seagulls, vultures, and crows you have to duck under too. It's supposed to be difficult like the old computer and arcade games, so don’t expect an easy game to conquer. It has peaceful scenery in the background and upbeat, funky music playing. “We also have a find the difference game called "What's the diff." If you are in the mood for something sweet, I got your sugar overload right here baby. The classic Snickerdoodle. A cinnamon-sugar spiced, chewy, pillowy piece of heaven for your mouth. Although there are several recipes for this gem, Mine is a gluten-free version. Most people freak out when they hear the word “Gluten-Free� because they feel that their dish will be deprived of something. But trust me, the only thing this will deprive you of is extra Calories. A basic Snickerdoodle will always have a dash of these 3 ingredients. Your sugar of choice (I choose Brown), Cream of Tarter, and Cinnamon.
Cream of Tarter is needed to give your cookies that unmistakable tang & smooth butter texture. I use Brown instead of White Sugar in my cookies because it contains trace amounts of minerals that are good for you but I love the molasses flavor it gives my food. Cinnamon, no need for explanation. There is no Snickerdoodle without Cinnamon. Ingredients: 1 Cup of Brown Sugar 1 Egg 2 Tbsp. of Pear Extract or Pear Juice 1 Tsp. of Vanilla Extract 2 Cups of Gluten Free Baking Flour 1Tsp. Baking Soda 2Tsp. Cream of Tarter 1tsp. Cinnamon 1/4 Tsp. Salt
Cinnamon/Sugar Mix (3tsp. equal parts)
Preheat your oven to about 375 Degrees. In a large bowl, mix together Butter and Sugar until creamy. Add your Vanilla and Egg, mix. Now in another bowl, combine your remaining dry ingredients together and whisk. Then and your dry ingredients to the large bowl of wet ingredients and mix together until a soft dough forms. Cover with Plastic wrap and Set mix in the Fridge for 10-20 minutes to firm. After firming, Make your cinnamon/sugar mixture. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and began rolling balls of dough in your hands and coating them in your mixture. Set each ball an inch apart on all sides on the baking sheet and place in the oven. They should cook about 10 minutes. Let them cool and extra 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet to enjoy. This recipe made about 18-20 cookies for me, depending how big you roll your cookies, but they are absolutely divine.
