Music By Xander Grim

He gave me a link to hear his music. I listened. I loved. My personal favorite is “like Murder” . The beat is dark, deep and sexy! Kinda like me. I would like to introduce you to Mr. Xander Grim of Suicide Panda....In his own words. “I was born in San Antonio Texas. I didn't start modeling until around the age of fourteen. It wasn't anything major, but the focus was always band/music related. Everything in my life, even now, has revolved around music. My largest inspirations in my music have always been the things I feel from day to day Everything I experience in my life influences my music, though I don't typically write music about happiness. I use music as my outlet to vent my emotions, my music is reflection of who I am beyond the surface appearance. I'm not sure what genre I fit into. It's a bit difficult to describe since I do my best not to follow trends. I do allow myself to accept influence of them other music, mainstream or underground. Some people will compare aspects of my music to other artists that they are familiar with, but it's always a subjective statement, nobody ever repeats the same comparison. I don't want to be compared to anyone else or sound like any other artist. I want to have a completely unique sound that is solely my own. I don't care if people don't like my music because if they don't enjoy it's not written for them, It's written for the people that feel or think the same way I do in hopes of connecting with them, letting them know they're not alone. I didn't start learning music until about the age of about 5, started singing & songwriting around age 14. I ended up getting involved with modeling because of the bands I joined. We would do promotional shoots for flyers and other band material to help gain notoriety for our music. Never give up on your dreams or passion, they will become reality if you allow them to. https://soundcloud.com/suicidepanda

Tru Talent

Jerry Davis Jr., Better known as D Tru was born and raised in Wichita Kansas and quickly formed a passion for music. D Tru's music differs from most artists in Hip Hop due to the fact that he writes music that inspires all who hear it. D Tru has been in the music circuit for over 10 years and has toured and performed at hundreds of events and venues many outside of Wichita during this time. Many people from Wichita have never heard of D Tru but this was partly due to the fact that he has been perfecting his craft and had chosen not to release a large amount of music over the years. Unlike many artists nowadays, D Tru puts out all of his music for free download Which is TOTALLY AWESOME!! He believes that if those who hear & appreciate his movement, then they will support with merchandise purchases and attendance at shows. 2013 is a big year! There are already talks of 3 music video’s and project that will be released all across Wichita. 4,000 copies of the project will be handed out for free during the summer of 2013. D Tru has said he is finally ready to make the big push to let all of Wichita and the Midwest hear the truth and the unique sound that his music contains. D Tru will be performing along with a band for future Wichita shows. D Tru's Opening eyes throughout the world with his unorthodox style of music and visuals. The past 10 years have been a time of learning and discovery of self and the truth is ready to be told. Be sure to be on the lookout for D Tru's upcoming performances. You won’t be disappointed. Model in the spotlight: Jasmine

“All that Jazz” Edited by Citty Kat

My name is Jasmine Benning but I go by Jas (Jazz)! I was born and raised in Topeka, KS! I some day have plans of moving to New York or Los Angeles because those fashion markets are more prosperous than here in Topeka. I currently am the Asst. manager at Journeys show store in Topeka! I actually am just starting out getting serious with modeling. I have done a few photo shoots in the past, but now I am ready to make this my career! Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a famous model. When I was little, I loved being in front of a camera. I used to pretend like the hallways were runways! I watched America's Next Top Model religiously. Haha. I am inspired by ANTM models Eva, Jade, & Kim. I am most inspired by (and kind of jealous of) Halle Berry & Rihanna. I admire that they can frequently change their hair & still look stunning. I love that both of ladies can be pretty, beautiful and sexy. That is important to me because those terms are interchangeable in conversation, but definitely have very different meanings! My goal is to become a successful model. I wouldn't mind being a Playboy centerfold but I REALLY want to someday be in the Victoria's Secret fashion show. A dream of mine is to model and travel the world. Models are looked up to because they are beautiful and have a glow about them people strive for. I want people to look at me and think I'm beautiful! You can contact me by email at jasbenn2012@yahoo.com, by phone at 785-249-1882, or at ModeMayhem.com/JasBenn2012.

Dallas da Diva

By Sierra Badley

Modeling as we know it dates back to the mid 19th century in Paris. Thanks to Charles Worth (1825-1895)we have models as we know it because In the mid-1800’s, Charles Worth showed innovation in business and design, as well as, was the first to use “real people” as models. Unfortunately, models of that time were not respected as they are now; women of that time were looked down upon as not having a proper and respected career. So we give thanks to those from our past who have paved the way for all Future models. Such as Dallas. I Interviewed this Hottie from Wichita Kansas Recently and this is what she wants you to know. •ME- Did you ever dream of becoming a model or was it something that just sort of happened? •DallasI fell into it. I did not originally think I had the looks or what it took to be a model. But when you mix enough self esteem and confidence together you can do anything. •Me- Would you ever change yourself to meet a certain standard of modeling? •Dallas I don’t think so I like being pretty unique and different instead of blending in with the crowd but if it was a necessary change sure, even if I needed to get skinnier for a job though i'm already physically fit. •Me- Has modeling changed anything about who you are? •Dallas Its just improved how I saw myself and made me more comfortable with who I am and made me want to be healthy and fit. •Me- Would you recommend modeling for other girls? •Dallas If they think they have what it takes with the confidence and determination to make it because this is a pretty challenging industry. •Me- What's your favorite thing about modeling and why? •DallasMy favorite thing is getting to see the progress I have made through my past a present picture . Proving all the more that you can do whatever you set your mind too. •Me- How long have you been in the industry? •Dallas Since april of 2010, i’d have to describe this as certainly an experience but a learning one at that, i've gained a lot of knowledge from it. •Me- Are there any negative to modeling? Whether it’s the industry or people or ect. •DallasWell you can get pretty harsh feedback sometimes which can be hard to handle if you don’t have a great self esteem and you must have a strong backbone to realize you are not meant for every job. •Me- Which If your favorite season to model in? •Dallas Spring and fall for sure, because of the colors and the temperature. •Me- What describes your sense of style? •Dallas - My sense of style well it really depends on the day sometimes i'm punk, other times i’m Barbie and a cross on the days in-between. •Me- Do you have any advice for girls who are trying to get into modeling? •Dallas It’s a very competitive industry so stay focused on your goal and strive for it. You must be comfortable in your own skin and who you are which is what makes you unique. Do not try to be like someone else. You can contact Dallas for work at: http://www.modelmayhem.com/2797519

Theatrical Makeup for a Halloween makeover Edited by Citty Kat Think the Phantom of the Opera meets Madam Butterfly! This was just a fun experimental tryout that has become quite the hit. Your costume ideas are endless with this look, plus your little girls can wear it too. Below are the Instructions, have fun and share your pics with us.

Step 1. Start with you palate clean and oil free, I used loreal base primer to ensure that. Step 2. Trace one side of your face in the shape of a butterfly wing. I used Nyx jumbo stick Black. Step 3.Powder your lid from corner to crease with your favorite color, i went with lime from Nyx loose pearl eyeshadows. Step 4. Blend it with the closest shade in conjunction to what you just used. Brush out to you eyebrow contouring the brow line and surround entire eye. I went with Nyx loose pearl turquoise.

Step 5. The good thing about Nyx jumbo sticks is that it is wide enough to trace and fill in your butterfly outline add an antenna and such. I also went over my eyelid in a gold loose powder. Step 6. I used Purple loose pearl Nyx eyeshadow to fill in the base of my butterfly Step 7. Using loose pearl color “Yellow” go over the crease of your eye to make that gold shimmer and stand out a little more. Step 8. Highlight under the eye with loose pearl shade “Very Pink” . Blend well. Use “White” loose powder to cover the lime green under your eye. Step 9. I decided to make the Green above my eye a little darker so i blended it with a shade called “Jade “ in the loose pearl eye shadow collection. Then trace in black to separate the colors with your jumbo stick. Step 10. Final step i dusted the entire area in Nyx “Crystal” glitter loose powder. The finished look . Of course, you can use your own favorite colors and makeup to create the look you need for your costume. This is just to walk you through it. Hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
