In our search for a cover model this season. I found a person who posses all the standards we look for. Smart, Pretty, Classy and Witty Mr. Matthew Ross. He is a 20 something from Oklahoma with a taste for the “Big City”. I honestly believe he will achieve his dream. Heck, he needs his own reality show because he is certainly someone i would want to watch. Matthew’s interview uncovered a little more about the man behind the looks..
“I've always admired modeling. I remember being 4 or 5 years old watching 'house of style' & looking at all the pretty people in the best clothes. I have been modeling professionally on and off for about 10 years now , catching shoots & opportunities here & there. On an average day,you would see me at the gym or the mall even. My favorite things to do are road trips to Texas for shopping, fine dining & seeing something different, also trips to California to take in the sunny beaches, exploring different cultures, spot a few celebrities & also do photoshoots. I've lived in Tulsa forever, sometimes I crave new scenery . Some of my favorite photographers I have worked with are Jordan Southerland & Deej Jones of Los Angeles & Hollywood, California.” Says Matthew. This 6ft. 200 pound TDL (Tall Dark & Lovely) hunk had more to say. “If anyone were to Inspire me to do what I do , it would be the late but very great Aaliyah, she had a style of her own that kept people wanting more...Urban chic, exotic & beautiful. I have done all types of photoshoots in my years but My favorites would have to be near bodies of water... as a fire sign (Sagittarius ) I can't imagine why . I'd like to also play with green screen & taking advantage of my androgyny. I have my face from my mother, body from my dad.. not many models in this part of the world have that... I take pride & embrace what makes me different, worthy of a showroom floor, not just the usual “Model”. To be a cover model would be an outstanding statement of the work I have put in to myself. “ Says Mr. Ross. Well Today is that day because we want to congratulate him wish him luck in his journey. Exceptional Student “Meet Patrice”

Let’s face it, life is hard and that is an understatement. It is even harder being a teenager now-a-days. Facing peer pressure from all sides. Staying drug and tobacco free, avoiding bad friends and recognizing good ones. As for girls, not becoming a teen pregnancy statistic, staying in school and keeping your grades up. I know a special young lady who has beat the odds and is steadily rising to the top. Her name is Patrice. She is a lovely young lady who recently graduated from Topeka High School and is now working on her future at Emporia State University in her freshman year. Upon interviewing her, she had this to say about her first year of College. “Currently, i am majoring in Sociology and considering my minor as Criminal Justice (Juvenile Delinquency). My current G.P.A is a 3.0 and I don’t find it too hard to keep my grades up because everyone on campus is friendly, approachable and willing to help. “ Says Patrice. She does admit, when she gets a chance she likes to party with friends or Veg out and watch a movie on Netflix. “ It is hard to stay focused, it’s more of my self motivation to graduate and become successful. I am determined.” She explains. It is this very determination that has brought Patrice this far in life, to know her and watch her grow and expand her own horizons, little does she know , in my eyes, she is already very successful. Staying positive and strong willed is the key to success and Patrice clearly wears that key on a chain close to her heart.
