Sanay My Name: Meet our Model

Story By Phantom The world of modeling is as much of a challenge to break into as being accepted into an Ivy league school. Very few can do it successfully. As i was scouting Social Media, I came across a fierce name in the Kansas City industry, Sanay. She has already broken boundaries as she reaches for her dreams as a Top Model. As much as i can see, she’s unstoppable. Here’s the Scoop.
“I have been modeling for 4+ years now locally here in Kansas City Missouri. So
far I’ve collaborated with Houston designer Travis Cal and the Smash Glam Squad For the makeup, hair and photography in an amazing “Call of the Wild” photo-shoot. I am love all the opportunities that i have received so far. If I had the Chance, I would work with Rhianna modeling some of her Fenty collection. When asked about her inspiration for success, Alexander says “Americas Next Top Model! “ “Honestly, ever since the show started I would always watch it & love the way A model had to challenge themselves into becoming different people, being pushed outside of their comfort zones. I admire the model & person they became by the end of the season. “ She says. “My first photoshoot I was a bundle of nerves, I was scared I would run out of poses and be left standing there. It wasn’t until after the third or fourth shoot I got my natural flow of things. I figured out the more uncomfortable you are while shooting the better the pictures come out. I also had to study the craft of modeling and posing. This makes the transitioning into each pose easier without having to reposition after every pose. Also makes the shoot go smoothly with less negative feedback from photographer.” Sanay explains. This is good input for girls that are considering modeling. “My future plan is to become a well-known model and to help girls and boys that are in small cities such as myself, having a hard time finding modeling gigs. So, S.T.E.M. OR S.T.E.A.M. Is Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. A Curriculum that i personally feel prepares children for “Real-life” and jobs that will be relevant in the future. Unfortunately, Many schools across the U.S. have not integrated this essential need. Candace Finley, or Orlando Florida, started A non-profit in her community called “ eSTEAMed learning Inc. Since July 2017, Ms. Finley and a group of other volunteers thought it would be beneficial to their community to help underprivileged children get a leg up in S.T.E.A.M fundamentals. “I wanted to serve my community. Currently there are over a million STEAM jobs available worldwide and I want the under-served populations to have a fair chance at it. The integration of science, technology, Engineering, arts and math education is being used to prepare us for the 21st Century workforce. Minorities are often not as exposed as the STEAM education as other populations and lose interest in STEAM careers. This is crucial as the Minority population will be the majority of the US in 2030.” Explains Ms. Finley
“I take a grassroots approach to STEAM project-based-learning. We provide Opportunities for students of all ages to gain skills that will immediately help them make a difference in school and the community. We help mold productive citizens no matter what field they choose. This non profit focuses on build generational knowledge so many activities can include the parents and other community partners. We reach out to both youth & adults.” Said Candace As i stated earlier, this free program is currently in Orlando, but something so beneficial as this should be Nationwide. San Gwappo Artist you should know
Influence, unique, and outspoken Theodore Darling better known as San Gwappo started his music career at thirteen years of age. He was born in La Mesa, San Diego, California April 8,1993. Most of his life he was raised in Memphis Tennessee and Jackson Tennessee where the harmony of music gripped hold of his heart. His biggest influence is his cousin Daniel “Levi” Brown whom was murdered while San Gwappo was incarcerated as a juvenile. His death motivated and inspired the young artist to pursue his dream within the music industry. San Gwappo experienced a hard life growing up. His mother which is labeled as his manager. ”She’s My Energy” as San Gwappo said she always told the young artist “Your different from others, and always will be” He took that advice and let it mold him into the hard working dedicated hip-hop rap artist he is today. He’s known for being excessively passionate, creative, and straight forward. His vision is people equal the balance of the earth, and people need each other just like earth needs balance. He has the mind of a successful businessman. San Gwappo is an empowered independent artist, still hasn’t signed to no major record labels. He plans on staying independent with his own label Star Loyalty Association LLC and continue doing collaborations with major label artists and indie artists. He has worked with a couple independent record labels such as Cash On Lock Records and 100% Real Record$. By collaborating among those labels, he gradually learned how to gain his own fan base as a performing artist. He flexes his skills as a recording artist to get his point across to those who need help. San Gwappo is Currently Working on his first album “Winter Storm 93” he has several EP Tapes on SoundCloud as well.
