AWAITS IN THE HEART OF LIMPOPO! Exclusive Boat Trips on the Blyde Dam, gives school groups a safe and extraordinary opportunity to spot Hippo and Crocodile.

Swadini is landlocked by the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve and nestled amongst the Drakensberg peaks, on the banks of the Blyde River. The unique and magnificent natural treasures in this world renowned area, activates engaging and valuable educational properties for school groups. An educational tour must is the Kadishi Tufa Waterfall Did you know?

What is mesmerising about the Kadishi waterfall is the striking resemblance the rock face of the waterfall bears to a weeping face, the drop of water very like a sheet of tears. For this reason it has been called the 'weeping face of nature'.

Swadini will give your group some of the most unique activities in the largest green belt canyon in the world. Looking for new species? What about taking your school group on an exploration adventure? The Resort is not only home to the newly documented Eastern Scissortail Dragonfly, but also home to other unique Dragonflies such as Painted Sprite, Great Sprite, Lined Claspertail and Spined Fairytail.

Hidden at the end of the Blyde Dam, it is one of few rare living tufa waterfalls in the world and is said to be the second highest tufa waterfall in the world, dropping 200 metres from its limestone shelf to the water of the Blydepoort Dam. Tufal waterfalls take million of years to form. Water, running over dolomitic rocks, absorbs calcium from the rocks. The mosses that also grow on these rocks draw out carbon dioxide whilst photosynthesising, which causes the calcium in the water to deposit layers of tufa on the surface of the waterfall (a bit like crystalisation of water). The water continues to flow over and underneath the layer of calcium.

Unique trees located at Swadini include Lebombo clusterleaf, Carrot-tree, Mitzeeri, Forest fever tree and Matumi. Unique birds can also be found in Swadini and include Crowned Eagle, African Black Duck, African Finfoot, Half-collared Kingfisher as well as the Trumpeter Hornbill. Wild animals that can be found in, and around the Resort include Leopard, Kudu, Hippo, Crocodiles, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Meerkat, Duiker, Mongoose and Impala.

With being in close proximity to all the majour educational tour destinations, your class will have too little time to fit in all the treasures in the area. What about a visit to the Endangered Species Centre or some interaction with elephants? From a traditional tribe, entertaining with dance and music, to being on the border of the Kruger National Park (where you can book additional talks about animal species and activities) to being mid some of the world’s greatest wonders, like Bourke's Luck Potholes, The Pinnacle, Mac-Mac Falls, God's Window and the ever popular Graskop Lift! Plan your roundabout tour and ensure you visit the Three Rondavels, the oldest Boabab trees and the magical mining town of Pelgrim’s rest. Swadini has an extensive team and group program that includes, hiking, horse riding river rafting and much more. Please enquire for a full list of all our activities. The Swadini School Tour will become the pinnacle of your school’s annual outdoor experiences calendar! Contact our friendly team today to discuss all your needs. RAISING CHILDREN TO THRIVE IN A CLIMATE CHANGED WORLD Many parents who are concerned about climate change know that the climate-altered world their children will live their adult lives in will be very different from today’s world. This generation of children will need to adapt to faster and more wide-ranging changes than we have ever seen before. Even with swift action on climate change, there are still likely to be more extreme weather disasters and serious shortages of fuel, water and food in many places. Further, as we move to a zero-carbon economy, there will be major changes in our lifestyles - in the ways we work, consume and travel. These changes will require great adaptability and capacity to cooperate with others. This information sheet is a companion to the information sheet, A Parent Guide To Climate Change. It helps parents think through the skills and capacities that our children - the next generation -will need to keep working so they can help to restore a safe climate, and to adapt to the inevitable changes ahead, and how parents can help their children develop these skills and capacities.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO TEACH MY CHILDREN SO THAT THEY CAN THRIVE IN A CLIMATE CHANGED WORLD? ‘Positive development’ is a term psychologists use to refer to developing the capacity to live a happy, healthy, productive and engaged life, which is what all parents want for their children. These skills are also important for helping them to adapt to climate change and thrive in a climate changed world. There are four sets of characteristics that help children develop in this way – individual skills, inter-personal skills, social engagement and citizenship skills - and parents can help build all of these.

Individual skills and capacities Every child has a different personality, but there are

ADVENTURE AN ALTERNATIVE TEACHING DEVELOPMENT AND ASSESSING TOOL R U B I N

V A N

R O O Y E N

Need for adventure Thirty plus years of involvement in Adventure Based Learning (ABL) and Adventure, Nature and Culture Tourism have taught me one thing: The yearning or seeking of adventure is an instinctive force and has nothing to do with personality or character. Although personality or character can enhance the frequency, severity and type of adventure, the essence of being in- and seek adventure, can be found across all imaginable “fences” that divide people: age, ethnic, economy, weight, temperament, interest, sex and the list go on and on. The adventure may differ, from coddiwompeling in nature, to extreme activities, from being a cliff hanger to being a coat hanger (previous articles), but the need for adventure is always evident in all. I have even found the need for adventure in very, very brokenspirit people. Talking to hospice workers, who work with people on their “last” will tell you that even in that frail state (broken body people) they sometimes acquire stories-they’ll smile, even while experiencing excruciating pain in their bodies, when something is conquered in the adventure story. One of my clients had many personalities (broken emotional people) and just mentioning paintball got everyone in there jumping up and down, making it almost impossible for her to contain the excited people she host. So sad that we have revert our kids/ourselves to Hollywood to entertain the adventurer in them/us.

A camp comes to mind, a leadership camp for 24 prefects/student leaders from the city, “rich kids”, where I divided them in six groups of four- two boys, two girls, gave each group a full matchbox, and after an hour, not one group could make a fire to cook food on (we were in the bush veld). After asking them, it became apparent that not one in the 24, 18 odd year old kids, have ever stand next to an adult person, who made a fire to cook on-As difficult as it might be to comprehend, making a cooking fire was a “lost skill” to these kids. Later during reflection more was revealed; was the first time for most to make their own food (cooking), first time for walking an open nature setting, first time to climb rocks and trees, first time in a place on foot within the same area where animals are present, first time sitting infront of an open fire, first time cooking marshmallows on an open fire, first time building a shelter, first time sleeping under the stars. My thought were SHAME ON US! Shame on us for depriving this generation like that. Likewise, one of the saddest evolutions of our modern society (even when society itself may disagree with its existence) is the paradigm or believe that is harvested in young people; that intelligence, by definition through formal education, is measured and confined to academics. An even worse paradigm: that young people with such “high academic results” (intelligence), should then focus their energy and time, spending more time getting higher results in academics and that their object in life should be to obtain a job that reflects such status (finance). The tragic outcome is twofold to say the least: 1. A generation of “achievers” destined to be- world changers and legacy leavers, who after a few years, live on the brink of emotional death, through depression without their medication and find no fulfilment in their occupation and life as a whole, and seize to live life to the full: ultimately seize to exist and become Yuppie Zombies: with the millennial cycle of Instagram, twitter or if you are old school-Facebook, sleep, eat, drink, work, eat, twitter, sleep, drink, twitter, work-posting selfies along the way, occasionally play and posting more selfies, then back to the beginning of the cycle while posting more selfies-and occasionally sling mud on Facebook or on your watsapp status (or magazines) with those they had a disagreement with. (Yip, slinging mud is a sign of unintelligible life form and poor leadership abilities) 2. The other 90% of “those kids”(with an exception of a few) grew up, having feelings of worthlessness and think they can’t mount to anything good in life and battle from the same millennial sickness, because they were made to think that they lack intelligence, which by the acceptable system they knew, measured their intelligence by academic standards.

LEAVE YOUR MARK AND GOOD LUCK ON YOUR ADVENTURE!

i am the left brain The same confusion can be seen in this picture on the internet; how can true level 6 Blooms reasoning exist without creativity? Freedom can’t exist without reason and yearning cant without realism. The artist, in my opinion, although maybe trying to make/teach a concept or point, seem on the other side of the scale, subliminally may have a paradigm that left brain(ers) and its virtues are not as colourful as the right brain(ers)? My opinion is that intellect should not only be measured and developed by one sided brain activities and investment, but also the other hemisphere of the brain. The same for art, music, sport etc Let’s attempt to define intellects virtues, other than academics for both hemispheres of the brain: Foresight-the ability to plan aheadWith knowledge and experience this virtue grows. Intelligent people plan ahead. Industrial-Hard work-blood, sweat and sometimes tears-Think hard work is not a virtue of intelligence? Look around….and think again. Intelligent people work hard. Patience-Facing a Goliath of a severe problem and you’ll see brainy people first reaction is to stand back, exercise patience in their “wisdom” and think. Intelligent people are patient.

Curiosity-Ask any biologist, curiosity are probably one of the most accurate signs of intelligence. Intelligent people are always curios. Problem solving- The problem of not having an answer triggers the intelligent, they have to figure things out. Intelligent people love problem solving. Concentration-Be the span 2 minute, 5 or 50. Intelligent people can concentrate deeply naturally. Show them something that triggers their interest and they concentrate twice as long as expected. Intelligent people concentrate deeply. The list can go on. Now look at every virtue shared above, just a few of a very long list, every single one of these, are combining left and right brain activities. Virtues that are not necessarily measured or developed in traditional schooling methods. Let’s have a system that measures and develop these too: Now there is one tool, a science, with multi disciples under it, which not just triggers each of these mentioned components or virtues in almost all children/people, but if practised by trained personnel acquire participation in a delightful, willing and enjoys manner, and also

develop both sides of the brain (and its intelligence) and do so in quantum leaps if practised correctly. This science is “Experiential Learning” and its disciplines are Environmental Experiential Learning/Education and Adventure Based Education to name just two, each with sub disciples like Play Therapy, Nature learning, Adventure based counselling, Adventure Therapy, Nature/Animal therapy, Environmental Education, Outdoor education, Garden therapy just to name a few. Each with its own technical skills and challenges, each serving the total human existence, effecting continuum’s like that of determination, self-discipline, self-reliance, vitality, integrity, compassion, will power, purposefulness, commitment, resourcefulness, initiative, self-respect, the list can go on and on. Why continuums? Continuum: a continuous sequence in which adjacent elements are not perceptibly different from each other, but the extremes are quite distinct. e.g. "a continuum of special educational needs" https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/continuum Because on any given moment a person in an Adventure Based Learning activity, for example, is on a few continuums as the activity demands opposites within its planning, decision making, risk taking, curiosity etc. In many cases, natural leadership qualities, those that adventure activities demands and develop, are processes that demands both extremes of a continuum in the same activity, almost as a bi-polar force, and a process of balance is riding on the line of the continuum, from each extreme to the other. My point today is let’s get the kids outdoors and in adventures! Motivate others and do so accordingly. Not just are you fulfilling an integral instinctive need for adventure, but you are developing and can measure intelligence far beyond what is anticipated for in a normal traditional methods. I know from experience that going with 100 odd nowadays uncontrollable kids on camp is no fun, but that is not what I am suggesting. Take a smaller group, just your class on an outing. You’ll be surprised what adventure will do to and for them and in the long run for you too. You’ll meet kids that you have known for years, no really! The change that some kids have when in an adventure is not just unexplainable, it’s unrealistic! Start slow and small, you may just want to take a few kids on a day outing, but be part of the program. When you can, use a service provider that understands adventure and have training in other areas of Adventure Based Learning than just the hard technical skills.

NATURAL LEADERSHIP QYALITIES

Sometimes adventure in not just “out there” Even in its smallest way, walking with grade one’s from classroom to ablution, but this time not just straight there, but along the way touching leaves, bark, rocks and other surfaces, and maybe along the way, play follow the leader-imitating a chicken, giraffe, elephant and more. Now a seemingly useless activity of going to the “bathroom”, becomes an adventure and is now triggering learning, curiosity, leadership, concentration and many others, not to mention the tremendous fun and stress relieve the kids are having. Ps Acting like an elephant or giraffe in front of associates, staring through windows at you have both advantages and disadvantagesself humiliation is top on the list-positive or negative, you’ll find out soon.

Have you ever done this with a bunch a matric boysI have, during class time, walking along the passages like a giant centipede, with the teacher as the “head”. The job description, taken on very seriously, no smiles. Needless to say that the selfhumiliation of “that aged boys” contrarily to their believe, made them the coolest thing ever. Teachers along the passage ways was forced to pause class for a minute, sometimes more and trouble came when it became “the way” of going from one class to another in the weeks to pass. The rest of the school couldn’t wait for these boys to pass them somewhere along the way and brighten the day “up”. Soon after, the girls competed with similar strategies, knowing it creates pandemonium within observing pupils stuck in boring classrooms and being who they are, this pandemonium now became the objective of the exercise, and creativity, the original objective, although never lost, was not the focus anymore. Changing class or going somewhere during school has become an adventure in itself. A new tradition triggering more than creativity, now came curiosity, ingenuity, thinking out the box and many more. Especially problem solving when the headmaster asked us what we were doing. A seemingly useless activity become an adventure, with some thriving and exuberant participators, yet others more of the shy type, stressing as if it was their first abseil. Adventure in its seemingly lowest level was stressful to some. Level of adventure This brings us to a point as to how do we measure Adventure? Can adventure be measured? One of the most useful tools and ideas in this regard was learned from Colin Mortlock. He classifies four levels for adventure. Before we look at the, I must remind you of an article previously posted in ALLES mag about the ways a person experience an adventure: We called the two brothers Cliff Hanger and Coat Hanger. For one activity let’s say abseil, the one person can experienced it as a Cliff Hanger, used to the experience and doesn’t even trigger a bit of adrenaline, “been there-done that” kind of thing.

Where as to put that same macho man to give a speech in front of a group of peers, he can become a Coat Hanger, where anxiety, stress and an overdose of adrenaline and tummy acids rule the day. In similar ways, the drama queen will be a Cliff Hanger in front of the peers, but a Coat hanger during the abseil. With this in mind let’s look at Colin Mortlock’s levels of adventure, while adding some of my own ideas as comments: Level I-Play level: At this level a participant experience a range between “I’m wasting my time”, “pleasant” to at the most maybe some “fun”. There is a minimum involvement in terms of stretching ability, emotions experienced, skill, mental control and concentration. The person is in the lowest comfort zone possible and can be “bored” out of ideas of more such experiences. This may be my Coat Hanger experience. The experience change little within the participant and learning does not occur on an economical level. Very little permanent Life Skills Training seems possible at this level. (Trained facilitators may not be needed, but a trained experienced facilitators can make a seemingly boring “level I play adventure” a “level II adventure”.) This is a good level for technical skills training. Level II-Adventure: The person feels in control during the activity. He uses skills, ability, and mental capacity to overcome technical and other issues. There is some emotions of fear, discomfort and risk, but it “feels” under control. Danger seems at hand but it creates a feeling of “entertainment” at most.

The person is dancing on both sides of comfort and out of comfort zones. The learning curve rises at this level and is of economic value, to both mentor and student. Life Skills Training is almost superficial but may be of some value if done by a trained couch. Another Coat hanger experience, touching Mr Cliff Hanger. This is a good level for basic technical skills assessment. Level III-Frontier Adventure: The boundary of this stage sometimes overlap that of level II in the sense that is very difficult to draw a line where one crosses it. Fear of physical, psychological, emotional or social harm (others to) are present and the participant no longer feels in complete control of the situation/activity. They strongly still believe that with much effort, skill, ability and other trades (even luck) they will overcome and that this is a test of their abilities. Victory and failure becomes a knife edge and the uncertainty of the outcome is a playful, yet agonising balancing beam in his/her mind. The experience triggers high levels of emotions, stress and anxiety and “labour” to some extent, but the line of trauma is not in sight. The learning experienced during and after such an activity happens in “quantum leaps” and the experience is probably etched in the persons mind for ever. It becomes a “gold nugget” when stories are retold (sometimes in exaggeration, as everything is higher, longer, bigger, more dangerous to impress the listener). As explained the learning curve just exploded. This is where Life Skills Training is most effective as brainstem knowledge is exchanged or rearranged. The experience is a Cliff Hanger experience. This is a good level for technical skills application training and assessment. Transfer of knowledge from one participant to another is almost natural. Level IV-Misadventure: The participant is in danger of a traumatic experience. The challenge is beyond the control of the participant, and the fear (and in reality) of death or serious injury is part of the equation. This stage of adventure must be avoided at all cost in Adventure Based Learning programs and/or Recreational Tourism. Where the experience leads to terror and panic, it is unjustifiable in educational/ABL terms. There is minimum to zero learning occurring to a normal participant and the outcome is a participant that have burned a memory of “I will never do that again”. Activities can be a normal abseil where the whole group has “passed” but mr X can still experience a Level IV. This is a good level for emergency situation skills training. The only place for participating in such programs is teaching couches/trainers/mentors/instructors, to prepare them for the unpredictable times that normal level I-III adventures might hand you, in a case of emergency and/or freak situations, but only under very strict supervision of experienced people and safety systems. As an example: a river suddenly swelling because of storm rain outside of the area of notice/operation, and you sit with 10 odd inexperienced paddlers on the river swelling faster than you can evacuate.

I have, for example, sit on a low water river bridge, in 100% clear skies, baking in the sun while staring (keeping an eye) at participants, fishing below me on the rocks, where the rumbling of the earth caused me to look behind me and a 2 meter high wave of a river, coming down in full force, gave me less than 30 seconds to evacuate the people, all gear was lost. A miracle by many standards. There was no warning, no time, not even rain predicted the past few days for the catchment area. I’m sure, if I wasn’t in the same type of situation previously many years earlier during a freak storm, while training, I might have panicked and froze for a few seconds, thinking what to do, how to act and what to say and multiple major swift water rescues could’ve been at hand of which one of the ladies couldn’t swim and I was the lone instructor on site. A seemingly “brainless” level I play activity, in 30cm of water could in 30 second become a level IV activity without warning, without the necessary rescuers/supervisors and death or serious injury was at hand. I can tell many more stories where a level I play activity turned into a level IV within second to hours. For that reason Level IV activities are done, arranged and performed under very strict rules and regulations with instructor who want to qualify as “professional”. We get trained people stuck on ropes 10 meter of the ground, and ask learner coaches to get them off (high angle rescues) with minimum gear and equipment. Throw them into level 3 rapids with gumboots (swift water rescues) on to rescue themselves and later other participants. Let them walk into accident scenes (Wilderness First Aid) where “drama queens” volunteers are busy “dying”, panicking, “bleeding to death” while you have almost no resources and an approaching mighty thunderstorm (a guy with a paintball gun) is approaching you very slowly, one pace every minute, just to raise your stress levels. The combination of stress and some of these girls screams stay with you for a long, long time. Keep the adventure alive, but stay out of the level fours! Get Out There, go Coddiwomple and take a few kids with you. This is all for this month, Choose Life Rubin

Higher Ground has been running programmes of therapeutic recreation (adventure camps) for people with disabilities since 2004. We are an NPO and are based in Durban. Our programmes are run at various venues within an hour or two of Durban, and occasionally in the Western Cape and Gauteng. We are passionate about running our 'camps' and feel that the benefits offered to

A secondary aim is to provide respite to parents and caregivers. They are able to rest and sometimes even have a holiday of their own whilst knowing that their loved one is having a wonderful time and is well taken care of. Volunteers 'staff' the camps. They are what make the programmes amazing and they are just incredible. They take care of any personal care needs our participants might have, assist with getting around and plan and run our activities. They are usually students or young working people who take time off to make a difference in the lives of our amazing participants. As a result they also gain great experience working with people who have disabilities, which we believe is beneficial to their own communities and spheres of influence.

WHAT TO DO...

call to action: climate change letter-writing campaign Getting Started background A letter-writing campaign provides students with the opportunity to voice their concerns and take action on a shared cause. Students can conduct research on selected environmental issues and formulate a persuasive letter to any person (or people) of influence with the aim of inciting change. The letters can be based on diverse issues, from commenting on a government’s policy on resource management to trying to make a change to your school’s recycling system. People of influence can include a school board representative, principal, mayor, community member, member of parliament, city councillor, prime minister, or federal scientist, to name a few. Through this lesson, students can learn about the relationship between environmental issues and civic action. Materials • Optional: computer lab • Optional: paper, pencils, envelopes, and stamps • Optional: chart paper or chalkboard

Curriculum There are many ways to incorporate a letter-writing campaign into classroom lessons for a range of grades and subject matter. Consider integrating the project into one of the following subject areas: Canadian and World Studies, Language, English, Science, Science and Technology, or Social Science.

learning activity Ignite Based on curriculum connections, a pertinent local or global issue, or student interest, have the class (or individual students) select an environmental issue that they would like to research. Student findings will form the basis of the letter-writing campaign. • Ask: When you think about your community, your province, your country, and the world, what environmental issue is important to you? (You may write these down on chart paper or a chalkboard). • Ask: Who is a person of influence? How and why do these people have influence? (You may write these examples down on chart paper or a chalkboard). Explore After the issue has been selected, have students conduct research in groups or individually. Select research questions that are pertinent to the issue, class, and grade level. Some questions may include: • • • • • •

What is the environmental issue? How does this issue negatively impact humans, animals, ecosystems? Why is this issue important to you? What do experts say about this issue? What policies or laws influence this issue? What is a proposed solution to the problem? What person/people of influence would be best to direct this letter to? • How can a person of influence help to solve this problem?

CALL TO ACTION: CLIMATE CHANGE LETTER-WRITING CAMPAIGN

Act Have students draft the letter based on their research.

Tips • • • • • • • •

Personalize the letter (tell them why this issue matters to you) Keep the letter short and concise (no longer than a page) Make sure information is accurate and up to date Proofread the letter to ensure there are no spelling or grammar errors Sign and date the letter Ask for a response Use the proper form of address and salutation for the person you are contacting Did you know? Sending letters to an MP is free, so you do not need a stamp

Reflect & Discuss Once the letters have been completed, email or mail the letter to the person of influence. As a class, reflect on the activity: • How did it make students feel to learn about an issue and take action by writing a letter? • What other ways can students take action on these issues? • What are the next steps in this campaign? • How can the class get more people involved in learning about this issue and supporting solutions? Extensions Involve the broader school community in the campaign. Create a presentation, video, or newsletter to inform others about the issue. Create a petition and get as many signatures as possible. Resources • Write2Know: Write2Know is an online letter-writing campaign that gives you the opportunity to ask federal scientists and ministers questions. Sign prewritten letters or write your own using their guidance and resources. http://write2know.ca • Government of Canada – Styles of address: you can find a list of proper salutations for dignitaries at http://canada.pch.gc.ca/eng/1452017684393

Situated within the beautiful 1,000 hectare Umhloti Nature Reserve, 15 kilometres outside Nelspruit, the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) South Africa Chimpanzee Sanctuary is home to chimps that have been misplaced from their natural habitats in Africa. Chimp Eden was established in 2006 and is home to 33 chimpanzees. This JGI chimpanzee sanctuary brings the world of chimpanzees closer to humanity through education end eco-tourism. The goal of the chimpanzee sanctuary is to rescue chimpanzees that have survived the bush meat trade, been orphaned, traded in the illegal pet market, or rescued from being traumatised for entertainment in circuses, beach resorts and night clubs.

Thomas

Bazia

Charlie The chimpanzees at Chimp Eden are the lucky ones, living out their lives in a risk free environment and being provided with the necessary attention to recover from the trauma they have experienced. The chimpanzees spend their days in semi-wild enclosures, and show normal social interaction and behavioural patterns as group members. The South African chimpanzee sanctuary is proud to be part of the Jane Good Institute, which is a global leader in the effort to conserve and preserve endangered species and habitats, and in particular chimpanzees.

On your guided tour, each chimpanzee is introduced and their often sad stories are told in an effort to create awareness and educate the guests on the struggles wild chimpanzees face and what we all can do to help save an protect these beautiful creatures for our future generations.

Martha The sanctuary is open to the public 7 days a week. Two chimpanzee families are visited on the 3 daily tours (10:00am, 12:00pm &14:00pm)

Cozy

The sanctuary is a non-profit organization and rely greatly on donations from the public and the guests that visit the sanctuary and support us by doing a tour, becoming a chimpanzee guardian or simply buying a unique gift in our curio shop.

Sasol Young Explorer – Frogs is the second app in the new Young Explorer nature series for kids. Colourful, informative and stimulating, Frogs introduces young children (3–8 years old) to 55 of the most common and rare frog species found in southern Africa. The descriptions of the animals – in English, isiXhosa, isiZulu and Afrikaans – are written in easy and accessible language and narrated by professional voice-over artists. There are also calls for all the frogs, except one – the only voiceless species in the region – while videos for 29 species show these delightful creatures in their natural habitat. ‘Quick facts’ about the size, egg type, location and conservation status of each species are revealed by toggling between illustrations of the different features on the screen. The app includes a play section with four games: puzzles, memory card games, an animal naming game and a nature cleanup game. There are lots of opportunities to tap, toggle, touch and swipe, listen, watch, and learn. Perfect for pre-readers and young learners, the app will keep kids engaged and help them learn about the fascinating creatures that we share our world with.
