He is soft sided just like his maternal brothers and has great body dimension and muscle shape. This bull has great structure and a big foot underneath him, he moves out so free and easy. A great opportunity to add some outcross genetics while still being backed by a very consistent proven cow family. Maternal brothers are working in the good herds of Dieter and Marlene Rucks, Curtis Simmentals, Cory Jorgenson, and Percyview Farms.
We’ve been using Wheatland genetics in our herd for many years. We are very happy with the quality of the females that we’ve raised out of these bulls. They are sound footed and good uddered. We’ve also been very satisfied with the growth and shape of our feeder calves. The Wheatland bulls definitely add some thickness to their offspring. They’ve proven to be an excellent cross on our Hereford-Angus cows. Sourcing great bulls is important to us. Dealing with great people is more important.
