When we were approached about consigning to the National Limousin Sale, we thought the best way to do the sale justice was to offer the choice of our two best bull calves of 2017. Here are two maternal siblings out of the $44,000 evaluated donor LAL Marilyn Monroe 42W owned with Riverstone Cattle Company. When we toured Pinegar Cattle Co. in Missouri, we fell in love with the Xylopolist cattle for their added softness, foot and bone and overall power. So much so that we purchased the top bred heifer sired by Xylopolist. We felt it was just good business to get these paternal genetics into our herd and let 42W lead the way! 706E is everything we expected and more. Power and mass from the cow side, along with the added softness and extension from the sire’s side. This bull is really extended through his neck and spine. He exhibits plenty of added depth from heart to flank, while carrying and maintaining an impressive amount of width through his hip, stifle and quarter, which he carries on top of a great set of wheels.
