He was the high seller that year at their bull sale. His son, 138D, is really a good bull, so deep and loose made with a good quarter and lots of hair. We believe he’d really sire a group of great feeder calves, the kind the order buyers want, the feedlots like to feed, and they’d have the carcass in them the slaughter plants are looking for. This is really a good bull and has a lot to offer the beef business.

She’s the mother of our high selling bull in last year’s sale, a Red Zone son called “The Closer” purchased by Bouchard Livestock and Boundary Ranch. Unfortunately he got an infection in his sheath and never was able to produce semen. We believe a great loss to the Simmental industry, as he was one of the best bulls we had ever produced and he had a lot to offer. 74C’s and 157D’s mother is a beautifully uddered Revolution cow going back to our Pocahontas 105L cow family. 105L is sixteen years old now and is still going strong. She is at Bow Valley Genetics currently, still producing some embryos for us. 225X is in our flush program also and soon will be getting flushed to Red Zone 16A. She has three daughters in our herd that are awesome and we plan to get many more. 157D is dark red, long and smooth, big butted and stylish. He had an awesome 205 day adjusted weaning weight of 891lbs. He would sire some exceptional replacement heifers and powerful bull and steer calves. Hetero polled.
