WELCOME Welcome to the 11th Annual Johnson Livestock Bull Sale. A lot has changed on this farm over the last 11 years but our desire to produce top quality cattle remains the same. I can still remember dad pulling in the yard with the first 2 purebred Black Angus bulls. Its with the same excitement we plan every mating, watch the calves grow, and finally put together the bull sale catalogue. The longer we straight breed these Angus cows the more we love them. With the purchase of the English Farm just south of us, we will be breeding more cows, Angus than ever before. What we enjoy about Angus is the ability to run hundreds of cows, with minimal labour and bring in a premium calf every fall. As the farm has expanded again, so did Mom and Dads family, welcoming two new grandkids, Brooks Moore, and Tucker Pankiw. Bringing their total to ten “so far” as Dad would say. We have continued to buy and breed to the best bulls we can find, and build off their daughters. You will notice that the majority of these bulls dams are sired by Four Seasons, Carbon Copy, Eliminator, Final Answer, and Potential. Many of these young cows have made Elite status or are well on their way to making it. As we go into the future we will be adding large groups of Rito 1439, Resource, Renown, rocket and Recognition daughters. We are very proud of the way our cow herd is developing and would love to show you the dams of our bulls.

This fall Four Seasons had 13 daughters turn Elite, finally giving him the Elite Sire status that we always knew he would achieve. We have registered almost 500 calves off of him in the last 8 years and will be turning back to him again his spring. He sires as close to our goal as any bull and of course is the full brother of the dam of Renown Our breeding goal is to have every cow and bull look the same and thats why we breed this way. Our ideal animal is moderate framed, quiet, easy calving, and heavy muscled. We feel the full brothers Renown, Rito 1439, and Resource, breed as close to that as we can find and that is why over 2/3’s of our bull pen are sired by them. With this group we will have sold over 1550 bulls and are extremely grateful for the strong support we have received. We have several customers who have purchased bulls in each of our past 10 sales. As always the bulls remain our responsibility until they leave our possession and we stand behind them.
