PUBLISHER’S NOTE

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Loyal Readers, New Readers, Subscribers, Luxury Lovers, Partners and Friends, As we are all awaiting the good news of a relief from this terrible virus, hoping for a solution to finally help relieve our lives and businesses after all we have experienced in 2020, I would like to turn our focus back to the core of our services as a publication. After more than 17 years of publishing our beautiful luxury lifestyle magazines, we have continued to produce issue after issue that is unlike any other, designed for all tiers of wealth. Our publication has been considered a ‘rare beauty’, ‘pure’ and the best sourcebook of Luxury Goods, Fashion, Style, Doctors and Lawyers, to those of the greater Orlando area. However, until now, details about what inspired our magazine’s founding and what we do and why have never been shared. So as we continue to evolve, to begin to further brand awareness emerging to growing numbers, and to reaffirm our mission, I felt now was a good time to share a little of our story with you. When founding this magazine, I was inspired that day long ago to create a magazine with great passion and purpose that would set a new standard for luxury lifestyles. Still, I knew it was a matter of waiting until the right moment in time to fulfill this calling. I envisioned a magazine that would explore the softer side of luxury, and I wanted to execute this vision much differently by creating what I had yet to find in the world of publications. For the Love of True Luxury I love the art of luxury. I am a person who eats, sleeps, breathes, and dreams of incredible, beautiful places, things, and experiences so luxurious, and I feel on a deep level the importance of preserving history, heritage, craft and creativity…every sumptuous moment created out of appreciation, where all the senses are stimulated and surrounded by great beauty, profound comfort and peace. Luxury is something I have always understood. I have always felt it and connected with it, like an ever-tethered umbilical deeply embedded and feeding my soul; a voice calling to me, inspiring and enriching me. Therefore, when approaching this publication, I decided to focus on stories and love first, knowing commerce would follow, because where there is love, transactions naturally follow. And luxury is all about love. I am incredibly honored and happy about the love and loyalty we have received from our readers and clients. Many have become friends, and we deeply care for all of you. Excellence and the Essence of Luxury are vital components in creating an immersive luxury experience. Why? Because according to my views on luxury and where it’s headed, it is a complex concept, one not easily defined. During the early stages of cultivating this magazine, I knew our vision of luxury would benefit from finesse because most titles seem to have a harder approach and feel to the subject. Also, so much about luxury needs to be felt in order to be understood, for luxury is at its heart a sensory experience. With much love and hope for all of the world, we will get through this year together, and we mean it from deep in our hearts. All the best,

Sven J Bode Publisher P.S. Please note our amazing feature about the great lawyers in this city who will be on your side to get through difficult times as they appear.

By Courtney Caggiano Located in the heart of the Dellagio estate on restaurant row, Orlando’s newest business venture is gaining more than just intrigue and notoriety, and for good reason. London House, Florida’s first-ever ‘high society’ private members’ club, is bringing the refinement and tradition of signature British social clubs to Dr. Phillips—and might even transform the city itself, with its elegance and esteem that is nothing short of completely and utterly enticing.

OUR TOWN

Founded by Adrian Everett, entrepreneur and former CEO of E-Lites e-cigarette company, his wife, Josie Everett, and Ben Becton, luxury real estate agent and investor based in Florida, London House is already making an unforgettable impression in Orlando. With a never-before-seen lifestyle experience for members seeking a community of like-minded individuals and a home away from home to gather with this community, this private members’ club offers the opulence and comfort of a five-star hotel. Hailing from England, Adrian and Josie set their sights on fulfilling the longing for the ‘high society’ member clubs found in the United Kingdom, and when they realized their desire for a social club of a similar style in Orlando, they saw an abundance of potential. “In the UK, private members’ clubs are very popular. In London alone, there are over 30 private members’ clubs, but we found that there just aren’t any in Orlando,” Adrian explains. “Orlando’s grown over the last 35 years into a very significant city, and we’re joining Orlando as a fresh set of eyes. We felt that there really should be a place like this.” Yet upon their move to Orlando, the Everetts did not originally plan to start a business, let alone a private club. However, their desire for a member-driven society encouraged them to introduce this concept to those in their new city. “We had absolutely no intention when we moved here of starting a Members’ Club,” says Adrian. “This has developed out of passion rather than anything else. We are creating an environment that we crave, and we’re bringing to London House global travel experiences, global dining experiences, and global service experiences that, in the 20 states that I’ve visited in the US, I’ve yet to find. And so we’re very excited to be able to bring that together into one location in Orlando.” For Adrian, Josie, and Ben, the membership aspect of the club is the most foundational of its features, as it allows London House to purvey the city for the potential individuals, couples, and families who will most excitedly enjoy all that the society has to offer. “I wouldn’t say we look for a specific kind of clientele; we look for the right clientele—the individual members of Orlando society who are going to really enjoy the place we’re creating here, and get the most out of it and bring the most to the culture, character, and the environment within London house,” Ben shares. “We really call it a social and lifestyle club. And that’s how we want it to be. We want to have a great member base...when we do invite someone [to become a member], we tell them we’re curating a special place just for them because that’s what we are really trying to do. What we’ve found is that we’re kind of finding each other already.”

“It’s like building an eclectic mix of people who have personality,” Josie adds. “It could be entrepreneurs, it could be sports professionals... it’s a real mixture of people all coming together, which is a lot of fun.” Upon becoming part of London House society, members can begin to experience all that this social club holds within its doors, with amenities, activities, and events that offer more than one could possibly imagine. Whether you are landing from an international flight at 1:00 in the morning or just hoping to stop by for a bite to eat after work, London House always has a place for its privileged members. According to Adrian, perhaps the most valuable asset of London House membership is the privacy and exclusivity of the club—which is reflected in the club’s no-photography policy. “The huge advantage of being a private members’ club is, first of all, it is private, so it’s only open to people who are qualified as members,” he states. “The membership element means that they’re contributing to the club financially, which gives us the ability to give members choice, to give them flexibility.”

“I THINK WHAT YOU’RE GETTING IS ACCESS TO A LIFESTYLE AND AN ENVIRONMENT WHICH IS NOT ACCESSIBLE BY OTHERS,” SAYS ADRIAN. Members have access to any and all London House properties at all times, including London House’s second location, The Penthouse, opening in 2021, in downtown Orlando. Centered around wellness and nutrition, this club features an open-air dining terrace, a fitness center, and a spa, just to mention a few of its stunning attributes, all with gorgeous views of the city skyline. At London House Dellagio, members are treated to everyday amenities, from 8:00AM to 3:00AM, such as complimentary breakfast with beautiful pastries and exquisite coffees, as well as a hotel-style concierge desk. “We have simple but expected services,” Adrian explains. These include an on-site notary, a talented tailor, car detailing and refueling, fine and casual dining, table-side service, bespoke experiences, and even use of the house helicopter at cost, all accompanied by valet parking and private security. “I think what you’re getting is access to a lifestyle and an environment which is not accessible by others,” says Adrian. “And it’s supported by an exemplary team of management and front-of-house staff, all of which are trained

by the British Institute of Butlers, and formally accredited as English butlers, which is something that doesn’t exist anywhere in America.” It seems as though Adrian, Josie, and Ben have thought of every little detail. “We just think of things that would make our lives better and then give them to our members,” Adrian expresses. “We look for any stress points in someone’s life, typically our own, and then convert those to positives. It’s really very simple.” And members won’t want to miss London House’s premiere events, from their weekly Saturday night “London House” parties to exclusive themed affairs, such as a Vampire Ball at Halloween, a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in March, and their celebratory opening event later this year. The club itself is a world all of its own, with three private dining suites, a drawing room, a cocktail lounge, a piano lounge, and a hidden cigar garden at the end of the terrace. Whether you want to curl up with a book and a drink in the drawing room or party the night away, albeit elegantly, London House invites you to escape the normalcy around you and imagine all that life could be if it were handed to you on a silver platter with white-glove service. That impeccable service is most wonderfully demonstrated whenever members choose to dine at London House, and the tantalizing dining selections feature delights and delicacies Floridians could only dream of, with five different menus suiting the five specific environments located within the club. “We’ve pulled together an internationally inspired cuisine,” Adrian says. With authentic fish and chips and other British staples, French and Spanish delicacies, and even dishes as intriguing as scallops in white chocolate truffle risotto and venison loin cooked sous vide with blackberry sauce, the fine dining menu takes you around the globe with world-class recipes prepared by Executive Head Chef Grant, whose achievements include serving the King and Queen of Sweden and the Queen of England, as well as being named Chef of Europe in 1999, along with spearheading dozens of Michelin Star restaurants worldwide. Classically trained in French and molecular cuisines, Chef Grant brings a fresh approach of both time-honored and trend-setting tastes to the London House menus. The ever-changing seasonal menus are sure to exceed any expectation with which you may associate fine dining, with ingredients that could not be fresher nor finer, such as game birds that are flown in from Scotland twice a week when in season. “The presentation is incredible too,” says Josie. “The performance, the drama behind all of the food is quite special.”

OUR TOWN

Ben echoes this sentiment. “A lot of places have great service, great food, or great entertainment, but very few have all three, and we’re going to deliver all three consistently.” “With lots of little extras that most people would never even think of,” adds Josie. “Where can you go in Orlando and have your shoes polished while you’re having lunch? They’re forgotten arts. These are things which should just really still be here, but they’re not, so we’re bringing them back.”

Bringing to the table more than simply vegan options, the London House staff has thoughtfully crafted a full vegan tasting menu that is as delicious as the club’s more traditional dishes. “The chefs are all experienced in molecular cuisine, which really takes vegetarian and vegan dishes to the next level,” Ben explains. “And since we’re a private club, it allows us to go out and source ingredients that you can’t carry on a commercial scale.” Every menu item pairs brilliantly with the hundreds of drink options at London House, as groundbreaking mixologists prepare all your favorite classic cocktails, plus original house cocktails and concoctions inspired by Europe and Asia. With a wine cellar housing hundreds of wine options, and even a breathtaking water menu, beverage choices are bountifully endless, from the dining room to the drawing room. An extensive Sunday brunch menu will brighten the members’ weekends as they enjoy a scrumptious English breakfast or even some lighter fare, such as gluten-free items or a morning mimosa. Also, in perfect English fashion, London House is proud to feature afternoon tea, with none other than the Ritz of London’s Pastry Chef crafting the most delectable creations. While the Ritz of London is the home of perhaps the most famous afternoon tea service in the world, Orlando residents now have the immense honor of enjoying the revelatory flavors of the Ritz tea room from the comfort of their hometown, served by one of the finest pastry chef ’s in all the land. The children of London House society certainly do not miss out on the fun, as they get to experience their own luxury at Little House, the select club for young members ages 12 months to 12 years. Founded by Josie, a mum of two beautiful children, Little House is a safe, secure place for parents to leave their kids as they savor the amenities of London House. Here, children will enjoy playing, learning, laughing, and discovering new activities. Run by a team of professional nannies inspired by the Norland Nannies in London who look after the Royal Family, Little House is designed to keep each 10

child well looked after, while providing children with a similar treatment as their parents next door. This London-esque-themed kids’ club features a life-size London bus that houses a gaming room for older children, a stage for performances that will feature special guests, magicians, comedians, and even master classes for the young members, and movie nights as well. With the same attention to detail found in the parents’ club, Josie has thoughtfully prepared a packed schedule of events and activities for Little House, such as cooking and gardening classes, and even opportunities for children to develop entrepreneurial skills through creating and selling their own products. As a mother, Josie is passionate about helping nurture Little House’s young members, especially through their dining choices. “We wanted to offer something nutritional and still exciting for the children, something that they would enjoy…but really much more interesting options and things that would appeal to the parents too,” she shares. The Little House menu is far more thrilling than the expected chicken nuggets and hamburger, featuring items such as a mac-and-cheese scotch egg, or anything from the adult a la carte menu. With dishes as unique as a junior Japanese Wagyu steak, the children’s meal options are sure to please the club’s members both young and old. With a background in performing arts, dance therapy, and working with children, including those with special needs, Josie has brought to life a refreshingly magical experience for children, as her heart of compassion and thoughtfulness overflows into the countless ways Little House will enrich the lives of the children who walk through its doors. Although Little House sounds as splendid as scenes from Mary Poppins, the magic does not end there. The entirety of London House is practically perfect, as the club’s British flair fills each room with the wonder of refined luxury living, from the most extravagant services to the simplest practicalities of daily life.

From the eight-foot chandelier above the valet drive to a doorman in a top hat opening the door upon your arrival, and even to the drawing room’s fireplace handcrafted from marble, the London House team has fashioned this stunning locale with traditional elements executed in a wonderfully modern way, all for your convenience and awe, which Adrian, Josie, and Ben all agree is entirely suited for the city of Orlando. “There’s definitely a community of people in this area that I think are really going to respond positively to this,” Adrian shares. “And really, you know, our focus is to get people to come and use it regularly. It’s not a special occasion place. I’d be delighted to see people dropping in just for a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a croissant every morning. We just want to see our members; we want people to use it as a home from home.” London House is truly one of the most excitingly unconventional yet precisely sophisticated clubs to ever grace the landscape of the City Beautiful. And according to Ben, Orlando is well worthy of its presence. “We’re doing this because we think Orlando deserves it, and we think Orlando will support it.” London House is set to formally open to members later this year. If you wish to learn more about membership at London House, you can request access for more details by visiting their website, LondonHouse. Life. For questions regarding general information, you can email the London House team at info@londonhouse.life.

“A LOT OF PLACES HAVE GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD, OR GREAT ENTERTAINMENT, BUT VERY FEW HAVE ALL THREE, AND WE’RE GOING TO DELIVER ALL THREE CONSISTENTLY.”

ORLANDO’S PERSONALITIES OF THE YEAR

TRACI SIHLE

Vice President - Sihle Insurance Group Traci Sihle grew up in the insurance industry with her father, Jerry Sihle, founding Sihle Insurance Group in 1974. She began at the bottom doing menial jobs such as hand filing customer’s information and answering incoming calls at 15 years old. Graduating from UF with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering, she began working full time at Sihle Insurance Group in 2009. During this time, her dad challenged her to build a better personal lines division. As she thought what that would look like, she observed that the industry lacked educational value, client advocacy, and the longevity that comes from strong relationships. As she set out to make her way in the industry, she looked to her faith in God about the role she would take, the people she would interact with and the impact she could make. Traci was determined to help build it to an even greater level, and a vision of her family owned company was reborn. That vision was to provide an insurance agency that educates our clients and helps them make an informed buying decision about their specific insurance needs. “We exist to serve our clients, to be their educational resource, to provide ethical quotes and honest advice. Our goal is to build longterm client relationships through continually representing their best interest. Our vision shapes our values and our culture which has been the recipe for our success.” “Our success is reflected with our team that lives and breathes our vision. We simply do what is right for the client and the rest takes care of itself. Also, I believe it is key in both personal and business if you surround yourself around people with a strong moral compass…of course you have to have one too.” She insists that their carrier relationships are primary. “Insureds are growing weary of large transactional agencies that are focused on uncontrolled organic growth and shareholders’ interests in lieu of asset protection, quality risk management, and superior customer service. Our agents, through our Sihle Insurance University, learn the true value of carrier relationships by working closely with industry partners.”

In the last ten years, Traci has seen the personal lines side of the business grow tremendously, and has spent those years building meaningful relationships with realtors, lenders, and brokers throughout Florida. Since that time Sihle has grown to be one of the largest privately held agencies in Florida, consistently ranking in the “Top 100” nationwide. Sihle Insurance Group has been honored to be the OBJ’s top 100 privately held companies each year and received an award from FAIA for top insurance workplaces in the US in 2019. Their headquarter office is in Altamonte Springs, Florida and they have 9 other locations throughout Florida with over 200 employees. Sihle Insurance Group provides tailored solutions for insurance, financial services, and risk management for your individual needs with a focus on commercial and personal property coverages, employee benefits including retirement/life insurance solutions. The “Difference is Service” has been the essence of our company for 46 years. “My personal philosophy is God + Integrity + Value = Success. I am extremely passionate in assisting and building our business relationships by providing the best possible insurance to cover their risks. We are a family owned business and we treat customers like family, putting more focus on finding them the right coverage and risk management tools, rather than focusing on our commissions. “ Traci also started an online swimwear company called LoveSwimSea this summer. The swimwear line focuses on celebrating every women’s shape they can feel good about wearing. A portion of profits is donated to the Coral Reef Alliance to save the world’s coral reefs. Traci is married to Brent Smith and they have blended family of 5 children ages 24 to 8 years old. They enjoy family bbq’s, tennis, golf, skiing, and travel. Traci’s charities include serving on the boards of Special Olympics and the Ronald McDonald House as well as being a member of the Go Red for Women for the American Heart Association.

JEDEDIAH A. MAIN, ESQ.

Trial Lawyer - Personal Injury It has been eight years since Jedediah “Jed” Main was previously featured in this magazine. Back in 2012, we noticed that Jed was one of this community’s most promising young lawyers, and we selected him to be featured as a Top Up-and-Coming Lawyer. At that time, he had only been an attorney for seven years, but he had already excelled as a State prosecutor, an insurance defense attorney, and he had started his own practice, The Main Law Firm -- all by the age of 30. He was noted to be an Honors graduate in high school, in college, and in law school, and it was very apparent that Jed was quickly on the rise. This year, 2020, marks the ten-year anniversary of The Main Law Firm, and Jed is continuing on his astronomical trajectory of success. Certainly, there has been much that has changed for Jed and his firm since 2012. However, there have also been some core values and practices that have remained the same. So, what has changed? First, we noticed that he has a couple of gray hairs coming in. And, as always with his great sense of humor, Jed remarked “well, that is what this line of work will do to you!” He has a distinguished, new office. In fact, he moved from Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park, to a new building on Wymore Road. His main office is still in Winter Park, but it is a beautifully-decorated upgrade. He has also added three more locations in Lake Mary, Apopka, and Mount Dora. He has added an incredibly-sharp staff to better-serve his clients throughout all phases of the litigation process. He employs an associate litigation attorney, five paralegals, including a dedicated litigation paralegal, and a receptionist/legal assistant. He has shifted his practice to handling only personal injury cases, with an emphasis on serious/catastrophic motor vehicle crashes. He likes to keep his caseload small, so he can put the necessary time and attention into his cases, which translates into much larger settlements and verdicts.

With all that has changed, there are a few key things that have stayed the same. Jed still feels true compassion for his clients, and he shows an unwavering tenacity when it comes to fighting for them. He always tries to put himself in the shoes of his clients to best understand what they are going through and to understand how their lives have been turned upside down. He says this is not an easy thing to do, but it is a crucial part in being able to fight for his clients. Jed still personally monitors each case throughout the entire process. Clients can always call and speak to Jed on his cell phone (or text him), and he always knows exactly what is happening in that case. Jed says that this is what gives him an edge over a lot of other attorneys in his field. With all his successes, Jed keeps a strong moral compass. He loves his wife, his dogs, his horse, and America! He is still that same funny, charismatic, yet humble, person we met back when he had just started his practice. Certainly, we are excited to see what the next eight years have in store for Jed Main and The Main Law Firm. Jed has received countless awards and recognitions since 2012. Some of the top include: • Florida Legal Elite, Up and Comer, Florida Trend Magazine • The National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers • Million Dollar Advocates Forum (less than 1% of lawyers) • Super Lawyers, Rising Star 2015-2020 (top 2.5% of lawyers under 40) • The National Trial Lawyers, Top 40 Under 40 • AV Preeminent Rating, Martindale-Hubbell (their highest rating)

He remains unafraid to take cases to trial, and he notes that his skills in the courtroom have sharpened considerably in the last eight years. At one of his last trials, the defendant (who he was suing) approached him at the end of trial and told him “you are a really good lawyer.” That is incredible! Attorneys rarely get complimented by someone they are suing.

KATHLEEN S. DAVIES Legal Guidance to Give You a Fresh Start Family Law and Personal Injury At The Davies Law Firm, LLC, we have developed a team approach that surrounds you with caring, qualified legal professionals who create highly personalized legal strategies for your case. Our priority is to provide the best possible framework for you to obtain your desired outcome, whether you are going through a difficult divorce or have just suffered the damaging effects of a car accident. Attorney Kathleen S. Davies opened The Davies Law Firm, LLC in 2009 out of a desire to help others who are going through difficult times. A skilled trial lawyer with a Master’s Degree focusing on negotiations, Ms. Davies enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their best possible outcome, be it through collaboration, mediation, pre-trial negotiations or trial. After obtaining her law degree from the University of Florida, Ms. Davies served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Florida. After trying her fair share of homicide cases, Ms. Davies distinguished herself and was promoted to serve as a Division Chief. It was during her five years under the guidance of Janet Reno that she honed her trial skills and learned that the best lawyers are those who have integrity and care deeply about their clients. Thereafter, Ms. Davies served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., where she prosecuted public corruption and gang homicide cases for ten years. During her fifteen years as a prosecutor, Ms. Davies tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict. After taking some time away from the practice of law to teach law school in Kaliningrad, Russia as a Fulbright Scholar, Ms. Davies returned to the United States to study at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government under the tutelage of David Gergen. Upon graduation, she was honored with the designation of Littauer Fellow in recognition of her leadership and academic excellence. After obtaining her Master’s Degree, Ms. Davies returned to Washington, D.C. to work on a class action lawsuit against “Big Tobacco”. Shortly thereafter, anxious to get back home to be closer to her family, Ms. Davies decided to return to Florida. Upon moving to the Orlando area, she chose to focus on helping people in the civil arena. After training under several top-notch personal injury lawyers, Ms. Davies made the decision to open her own firm, where she would be able to take personal injury and family law cases, and give her clients the white-glove treatment they deserved. As founder and manager of The Davies Law Firm, LLC, Ms. Davies gives each of her clients her undivided attention. Through her thorough preparation and legal tenacity, she has garnered the respect of colleagues and judges. She is fair-

minded and solutions oriented, always trying to serve her clients well. Clients appreciate her straightforward approach in explaining legal options and strategizing to obtain the bestpossible outcome for them. As a trained collaborative lawyer, she embraces the idea that many family law problems can be handled most effectively at the negotiations table, where the parties can craft an agreement that best serves their purposes. However, as a skilled trial attorney, she also understands that some cases will only achieve their optimal result through going to trial, something Ms. Davies is always prepared to do to protect her clients’ rights and represent their best interests. Although we have handled hundreds of family law and personal injury cases, we understand that each one comes with its own unique circumstances. That’s why we listen carefully to each client’s story and help prioritize objectives before creating a strategy that will help achieve their goals. At The Davies Law Firm, LLC, we understand how going through a divorce or suffering a serious injury in an accident can leave you with many questions and make you nervous about your future. We will be glad to review the facts of your case, explain your options and help you take the first steps toward starting your new life.

MICHAEL LEROY Prominent Trial Attorney -Managing Partner of Fulmer LeRoy & Albee Law Firm Michael LeRoy is a founding member and the managing partner of Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, PLLC. With multiple offices in Florida and the firm’s principal office in Orlando, Michael and his excellent partners and team dedicate their practice to representing individual residents, physicians, hospitals and medical groups, as well as small local businesses and large national corporations against allegations of malpractice and negligence in cases typically involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths. Having tried well in excess of over 100 jury and non-jury trials to verdict in his career, and having handled cases ranging from private disputes to mass shootings and other high profile matters, Michael sees no client or case as too small or too big but instead seeks to ensure that all of his clients’ rights are duly and rightfully protected. Michael handles cases throughout the state, but he is particularly honored to assist the residents and business owners of Orlando and all of Central Florida. Michael is proud to have been born and raised in the Midwest. His strong work ethic became evident when he obtained his first job at the age of 12. He has worked ever since, including full time throughout the course of his education. Michael attended the University of

Nebraska, where he graduated at the top of his class, summa cum laude, in 1989. While there, he was selected as the sole recipient of the prestigious and highly coveted Regent’s Scholarship and was an active member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. Michael then attended the Florida State University College of Law, from which he graduated with honors and promptly became a member of the Florida Bar. Michael began his career as a trial attorney by serving as an Assistant State Attorney for two years, gaining valuable courtroom experience as a prosecutor, before starting his civil defense litigation career in 1995 with a large trial firm. Michael rose to the level of partner with that firm within two years and became a named partner soon after. Years later, in March of 2007, Michael fulfilled his dream of forming his own firm, Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, where he serves as the firm’s managing partner. Throughout his career, Michael has always sought to be innovative and forward-thinking in his litigation and trial strategies, and that has resulted in the creation of many new legal standards and evidentiary principles which have been adopted and ratified by courts throughout the state, inclusive of the Florida Supreme Court.

For over 25 years, Michael has been a licensed member of the Florida Bar, and he is also licensed to practice in the US District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. In addition, he is a member of the Orange County Bar. Apart from his legal career, Michael is a volunteer and a dedicated advocate for large charitable foundations for both cancer and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). In his leisure time, Michael enjoys exercising, sports (especially following the New Orleans Saints and FSU Seminoles) and traveling when his schedule allows.

MARK A. ARIAS Arias Law Offices WHAT A JOURNEY: With the passing of this year Mr. Arias has been a lawyer for over 30 years. He is a graduate from Florida State University College of Law and while attending, had the distinction and privilege of serving on Law Review. “My years at FSU Law were some of the best years of my life. I will never forget my professors, classmates, and Friday afternoons on the lawn. Ehrhardt was remarkable and Gey brilliant. It was a great experience, thank you FSU.” As a young lawyer, his time as an assistant state attorney was invaluable. The opportunity of going to Court daily and prosecuting criminals was a very “real world, eye opening experience”. “Can’t beat it! I recommend any lawyer interested in trial work, to spend time working with either the State Attorney’s or Public Defender’s Office. The experience gained is unmatched. It is a super chance to see how this industry works, and on occasion, get a peak from behind the curtain. I was lucky enough to have prosecuted before the Honorable Judge Hitt in Misdemeanor and Honorable Judge Eaton in Felony. Both were instrumental in the development of my legal career. Another unexpected benefit was working along side other prosecutors that eventually became my friends. I have never been able to duplicate that spirit of fellowship and camaraderie again. Thank you, Jack, Pete, Andy, Jim, Jose and the list goes on…”

After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Arias went into private practice with various firms practicing in other areas of the law, such as Civil, Family, Personal Injury, and Immigration. “The person that stands out most in my mind is, non-other than, Mr. Silver. He taught me the business side of law and a whole lot more. He was a mentor and a friend. Thank you, Stan, for taking a chance on me.” Attorney Arias opened his own Solo law practice approximately 17 years ago, in a small office with no secretary. Eventually, his wife came on board to help carry the case load and from there things began to grow. He continues to work his law practice in Orlando, FL. focusing on Immigration and Nationality Law. Now, his office services individuals, families, and businesses from all over the world in achieving the American Dream. “I have learned that you can’t be a ‘Jack-Of-All-Trades’, it’s important to find a niche and it should be something you enjoy doing. For me, the most rewarding legal work that I have done is Immigration. I believe the United States is the greatest Country in the world and there is no better place to live. I find satisfaction in helping others achieve this dream. Thank you.”

DANCriminal ECKHART Defense In the 2019 edition of Orlando Attorneys of the Year, Dan asked you to call him if the FBI unexpectedly showed up at your front door. And some of you did. In 2020 Dan picked up several new Orlando clients under investigation not only by the FBI, but by the DEA, IRS, Secret Service and Homeland Security. While Dan spends most of his time in federal court, he also represent clients facing state criminal charges. Most significantly, he became part of the defense team in Michigan v. B’dour Al-Yasari. Ms. Al-Yasari is a young Lansing, Michigan mother accused of murdering her husband and CourtTV will be televising the trial in its entirety in 2021.

Jonathan Pollard (Israeli spy), Tim McVeigh (Oklahoma City Bombing), and John Gotti (Gambino Crime Family). Dan investigated staff misconduct and various security threat groups including the Aryan Brotherhood and the Mexican Mafia. Dan was promoted to Senior Litigation Counsel and assigned to the Coleman Federal Correctional Complex in Central Florida. One of Dan’s cases, Lopez vs. Davis, was heard by the United States Supreme Court. The United States won the Lopez case and Dan was recognized for his litigation support to the DOJ Office of Solicitor General.

Dan is unique in that he was not only a federal prosecutor but was a federal agent and a federal agency lawyer. He has extensive federal criminal defense, federal civil, federal asset forfeiture, whistleblower and compliance experience. Most people don’t appreciate that federal investigations, prosecutions, trials, sentencings, and forfeitures are vastly different than when local police or prosecutors are involved. If a federal agent or regulator wants to interview you, you receive a federal subpoena or target letter, your money is seized, or your bank freezes your account, Dan recommends hiring a lawyer who has spent a lot of time in federal court, no matter who that is.

From 2002 to 2013 Dan was an Assistant United States Attorney (federal prosecutor) in the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division. Dan worked in the civil, asset forfeiture and criminal divisions during his tenure in the office. Dan’s forfeiture and money-laundering knowledge helped him successfully assist with the prosecution of Orlando fraudster Lou Pearlman and scores of others. He traveled to Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Ireland and the Netherlands to work with foreign prosecutors and agents on cases. He also handled and tried complex white collar matters including bank fraud, mortgage fraud, money laundering, tax fraud, FOREX trading, healthcare fraud, bankruptcy fraud and Ponzi/investment schemes.

After graduating from Michigan State University, Dan started his career in San Francisco as a Special Agent with the United States Customs Service. In the 1980’s “Miami Vice” era Dan investigated money laundering and drug smuggling cases. In 1990, Dan left Customs to attended Memphis State Law School. After graduating from law school, Dan was hired through the United States Department of Justice Honors Program as an Assistant Regional Counsel for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Kansas City. He handled matters involving high-profile inmates including Christopher Boyce (Falcon and the Snowman), Omar Abdel-Rahman (World Trade Center Bombing), Leonard Peltier (Killing of FBI agent at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation), Ted Kaczynski (the Unabomber),

Dan is licensed to practice law in Florida, Missouri, and Kansas and is willing to take federal criminal cases anywhere in the United States. Dan defended federal criminal matters in the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, Southern District of Georgia, Northern District of Illinois, District of the Virgin Islands, Western District of Michigan, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern District of Texas, District of Columbia, the District of Maryland, the Southern District of Iowa and in various state courts. Dan was named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association again in 2020 and will be there for you if you ever need his help.

JEFFREY FEULNER Men’s Divorce Law Firm

“Fathers, Families, Fairness.” At its core, this is the mission statement of the Men’s Divorce Law Firm. Jeff Feulner, the firm’s founder and managing attorney, understands that this statement is more than just a motto—it is the guiding philosophy he follows for all his clients. Many of the fathers and husbands that Jeff represents begin their case with a presumption that, in the face of a divorce, their role as a father will inevitably be diminished. Jeff and his team are dedicated to showing each of his clients that relationships may end, but fatherhood doesn’t have to. Jeff ’s path to becoming a family law attorney began at the age of 19, when he first became a father. Determined to succeed parentally as well as academically, he went on to graduate from Rollins College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior, and subsequently received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 1997. Over the course of his journey, from a young father just starting out, to the experienced professional he is today, he gained not only an expert familiarity with Florida family law but a personal understanding of the unique obstacles and challenges his clients face. In 2004, Jeff founded the Men’s Divorce Law Firm. Since its inception, the firm has helped over six thousand of Florida’s husbands and fathers receive the legal help they need during what may be one of the most difficult and emotionally taxing moments of their life. Since the firm’s founding, Jeff has been awarded a distinguished AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which acknowledges lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional excellence. The firm was also awarded a “10 Best Family Law Firm” distinction by the American

Institute of Family Law Attorneys and a “Top 30 Matrimonial and Family Law” award by the National Advocates in 2020. Jeff is 10.0 AVVO Superb Attorney rated, a Lawyer of Distinction, and one of America’s Top Lawyers as recognized by the American Law Society. As a boutique family law firm, the Men’s Divorce Law Firm handles family law matters and only family law matters. This means that Jeff ’s clients, and the complicated cases that they have, receive the attention of attorneys and staff who are exclusively focused on the constantly evolving field of family law. The firm’s caring and professional team is committed to keeping open and clear lines of communication with his clients. When clients hire the Men’s Divorce Law Firm, they are at ease knowing that their calls will be returned promptly, and each aspect of their case will be explained clearly to them along the way. There truly is no case too big or small for Jeff and his team to handle. His clients have ranged from husbands who need a simple, uncontested dissolution of marriage to those who are professional athletes or business owners and require a complex distribution of property, assets, and liabilities. However, it’s not just husbands who enlist Jeff ’s services. Florida fathers who need to establish their rights and ensure substantial time sharing with their children can count on Jeff and his team to help them achieve the outcome they desire. While specific results cannot be promised, a respectful attorney-client relationship and thoughtful, informative legal representation is. No matter the individual, and no matter the complexity of their case, all of Jeff ’s clients are treated with respect, compassion, and a level of world class service that they deserve.

GREGORY JACKSON Trial Attorney time period I became one of four founders of Tehillah Magazine, a faith-based lifestyle magazine that became the official magazine for the Stellar Awards during my tenure. Thereafter, I accepted an opportunity to become an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida where I oversaw the litigation practice for the Northern Bureau of the Consumer Protection Division and handled cases against the largest corporations and law firms in the country. I then went to work for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the State of Florida where I became a partner. I am now employed by one of the largest plaintiffs personal injury law firms in the country as a litigation / trial attorney. In my current capacity I represent hard working individuals, families and children who have been injured due to no fault of their own. Discussing what he loves most about his job was a no-brainer for Gregory. He is deeply passionate about the sheer fact that he gets to come to work every day and fight for his many clients. Most people do not know where to turn after an accident or understand their rights and Gregory stressed his appreciation for the opportunity to give those individuals peace of mind. His heart for serving others can be traced back as far as 11th grade when he signed up to serve his country—a time of his life that he still calls his proudest accomplishment. “Many people see the practice of law as just a profession, but I see it as a way to serve, educate and empower others.” -Gregory Jackson From medical malpractice and entertainment law to Assistant Attorney General and partner for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the state, to say Gregory Jackson has had an incredibly extensive career would be quite the understatement as we learned during a recent interview. Style Magazines had the opportunity to chat with Gregory and ask him a few questions about his career, personal projects and future goals. OSM: What is your background in the industry? GJ: I started my career with a complex medical malpractice

I have been the sponsor of this program since its inception and have watched it grow from a single student providing gifts to 20 seniors in a nursing home, to now 15 students providing gifts to over 150 seniors in a nursing home, an assisted living facility and through a local church. This type of program is so important because it fulfills a need that most people do not think about while also connecting two of our most precious assets in society: the youth and our wise elders. OSM: What are you most looking forward to in the coming year? GJ: I am looking forward to continuing the growth of the radio talk show program I

Many people see the practice of law as just a profession, but I see it as a way to serve, educate and empower others. When asked what Gregory attributes his success to, his straightforward response was “the strong work ethic that my parents instilled in me.” Not only have those deeply rooted values led Gregory to earn a spot in our Attorneys of the Year 2020 issue, this year alone Gregory has also been recognized as a 2020 Elite Lawyer and 2020 National Black Lawyers Top 100. His many accomplishments speak volumes to Gregory’s career and are a testimony to his commitment, dedication and drive to serve and protect.

would ever have to return some of the money I obtained for her in a settlement.

I have been practicing personal injury law helping injured victims in this community for over 30 years. I left one of the areas most recognized personal injury firms and started my own firm five years ago. The mission statement of Klausman Law is: “We’re here to help people. We treat every client as we would want to be treated.”

I’ve devoted my years of practice is trying to excel in helping clients with injury claims, helping families of loved ones who lost a family member due to someone else’s negligence, and helping clients with insurance claims.

There is great pleasure in being able to use my experience and knowledge to help people. It’s good karma. My father and mother taught me to always treat people the way you would want them to treat you. To put yourself in the other person’s shoes to understand what they are feeling. To try and do your best at everything you do. To make as many friends as you can, because you never have too many. Clients should feel good about their attorney. Each client has my cell number to call me whenever they have a question or problem, even after hours. Results also matter. When the results for a client exceed their expectations, that client is the attorney’s best source of advertising. I had a client who was so overwhelmed with the results after her insurance company tried to cheat her that she asked if she

Many of our clients have been referred by former clients, other lawyers and even by several judges. I have been fortunate to have received recognition from the legal community, including peer reviewed recognition for more than 10 years from Super Lawyers magazine and as a “Legal Elite” attorney by Florida Trend magazine. I have been recognized with awards from the Florida Justice Association and by our local Bar Association. Like most injury attorney firms, there is no attorney fee until we obtain a recovery for our clients. Different from other firms is we do not use non-lawyer case workers to answer our client’s questions. The matters I handle are very important to my clients. There can be lifetime consequences. I am always available for my clients. We are here to provide care and help to our clients. My goal is to do the best I can for each client, with the hope the results will make a new friend. I enjoy helping people.

Ginger brings unique experience to her practice. By contrast to many in her chosen field, she began her career in insurance defense where she gained valuable courtroom and litigation experience. Ginger expanded her legal training and experience into her current areas of practice at a boutique, family-owned law firm in Orlando before setting out on her own journey. In 2010, Ginger opened her own firm which has allowed her to focus on providing client-centered legal services while also allowing her to devote more time to raising her sons, and establishing a healthy work-life balance.

Ginger works with clients of very diverse economic backgrounds to develop a custom plan that meets each client’s goals. While the firm’s estate planning, guardianship, guardian advocacy, and elder law clients are predominantly located in Central Florida, her law firm represents clients in probate matters throughout the state. Ginger’s well-rounded background and experience allow her to approach cases with an eye toward minimizing litigation and potentially devastating family stressors. Further, her wide range of experience is especially helpful in Ginger’s service as a Guardian Ad Litem for Minor Children who have been injured. With an eye for detail and a kind, respectful approach, Ginger works with clients to create a plan for their future that gives each client peace of mind for the future. Although it can be difficult to talk about family dynamics, the potential need for a trusted family member or friend to assist with health care and financial decisions and other issues that can occur is something Ginger understands. She takes time with each client to work through the intricacies of such conversations to meet each client’s goals and needs. Ginger has been a licensed member of the Florida Bar for 17 years and is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, West Orange Chamber of Commerce, ElderCounsel, and the Orange County Bar Association. She served on the board of Lift Disability Network, an organization dedicated to elevating life in the disability family. CONTI MOORE Conti Moore Law, PLLC Attorney Conti Moore has quickly earned a reputation in the Central Florida legal community as being a fierce advocate for her clients. Her fighting spirit in championing the rights of her clients makes her a formidable opponent for any opposing counsel, no matter their resources or professional pedigree. “Stress less. Choose Moore.” is not merely a slogan—it is the credo by which Conti Moore Law, PLLC operates. It is the guiding principle by which all matters are handled from inception to final judgment. When Conti Moore takes on a case, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge obtained from the best schools in the state. Litigation is nothing less than a war made up of many small battles which are won or lost long before a case is brought to trial. Conti’s determined approach to winning every one of those small battles was crafted when she attended Florida A&M University whose call to action is to “Strike, Strike, and Strike Again.” It was at Florida A&M University where Conti earned a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems with a minor in business, gaining the acumen she now utilizes to operate her own successful business. The unyielding, battle-ready disposition that Conti brings to every case was fortified when she attended and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence at the College of Law at Florida State University whose alumni proudly embody the “unconquered” spirit of the Seminole Tribes of Florida. It was here that Conti’s aptitude for law and litigation

shone through as she was honored to be a member of the FSU Journal of Transnational Law and Policy. She was also a member of the FSU Mock Trial Team, placing first at the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyer’s Mock Trial Competition and second at the Association of Trial Lawyers of America’s Mock Trial Competition. Conti’s professional accomplishments mirror the laurels she achieved as an outstanding student leader at the Florida State University College of Law. Upon graduation, Ms. Moore became licensed to practice in the States of Nevada and Florida, and she became an associate attorney at one of Las Vegas’ most prestigious law firms. Right away, Conti earned a reputation for aggressively representing her clients. Attorney Conti Moore’s positions on child custody and parents’ rights have been quoted in the New York Times, Orlando Sentinel and Orlando Times. She has also appeared on WFTV Eyewitness News, WKMG-TV News 6, WUCF NewsNight, Intersection on WMFE Radio, and Retrospect on Cox Radio. Attorney Conti Moore’s commitment to alleviating the stress of her clients by providing exceptional, aggressive, and strategic legal representation is unquestionable and thoroughly evidenced by her record. When she isn’t going above and beyond the call of duty to produce favorable results for her beloved clients, Conti is enjoying time traveling with her husband, Nicholas, and three sons.

CAROLYN H. SAWYER, ESQ.

Founding Partner - Sawyer & Sawyer

Growing up in Orlando from the age of six, Carolyn’s favorite memories were the weekend canoe trips on Central Florida’s many beautiful lakes and rivers. Her love of the water led her to synchronized swimming, first as a competitor and eventually, as a teacher. Also, Carolyn became the first female lifeguard for the Orlando Recreation Department. Interested in science, Carolyn graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1964 with a B.S. in Physics, beginning her professional life as a math and science teacher. After earning her M.S. in Physics from Rollins College in 1975, she began a 15-year career as the chief radiation physicist at Orlando Regional Medical Center. In addition to career success at ORMC, Carolyn also met Thomas Sawyer, M.D., who was to become her husband. She left the Radiation Oncology Group in 1990 to begin a significant career change. She was interested in establishing relationships with and helping people directly. In pursuit of that new direction, Carolyn enrolled at Stetson College of Law in 1991. Her husband decided to make the career change with her. Graduating in December of 1993, Carolyn and Tom formed Sawyer & Sawyer, PA, with a focus on Elder Law, a relatively new field at the time. They immersed themselves in understanding long-term care,

Medicaid planning, estate planning, probate and trusts. They opened their first office in 1997, with their daughter, Attorney Cary Moss, joining the firm in 1998, followed by Cary’s husband, Attorney Tom Moss, in 2003. Given her passion for protecting the elderly, Carolyn became Chairperson of the Elder Law Section’s Committee on Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation. Her committee helped sponsor annual multidisciplinary workshops on Elder Exploitation with the Florida Office of the Attorney General. She also participated on a committee with Florida lawmakers in 2014 to develop landmark legislation on criminal elder exploitation. Additionally, Carolyn was the recipient of the 2009- 2010 and the 2013-2014 Charlotte Brayer Public Service Award. Carolyn credits her professional experiences across different careers with giving her the extra insight and empathy for providing ongoing, personalized family member support when clients are at various stages of aging. She also hopes to demonstrate that it is never too late to pursue one’s passion. Nearing retirement in March of 2021, Carolyn will be seeking opportunities to learn new skills and to make additional contributions to her family and her community.

A Fish Tale Pandemic Edition B Y D A W N H A R R I S S H E R L I N G , M . D . , F. A . C . P.

Traditionally, marine life pets have not done well in our home. We have prematurely lost a hermit crab and several fish. However, this past year, we have been uncharacteristically successful in keeping alive our unfortunately named beta fish, Karen. Though we hadn’t been in the market for a beta fish, given our prior pathetic history, Karen was an unexpected bar mitzvah favor. And after a year, her hastily purchased bowl, diving head ornament, and rocks were looking a little, well, gross. An upgrade had been long overdue. We carefully selected a new tank, Sponge Bob ornament, and gravel for Karen’s new environment. After a rinse and water treatment, we plopped Karen in and threw out her green-hewed, slightly slimy, old home. And then Karen froze. She stopped swimming. She stopped eating. Every few hours I would check to see if she had died. I got the kids mentally prepared for yet another fish funeral. But after two days of fish catatonia, like a fish phoenix rising from the purple pebbles at the bottom of her tank, Karen began to explore her new environment, darting in and out of her Sponge Bob Pineapple and eating her fish food again. We had only one explanation for Karen’s miraculous recovery—initially she must have been too overwhelmed and stressed out by her new environment to function. Her lifelong routine had been upended suddenly and without warning. Sound familiar? Many of us have been wondering why we haven’t been more productive these past few months. Even when the kids

don’t seem to need our attention, instead of working or finally organizing our closets, we binge watch mediocre television or mindlessly scroll through social media. Sometimes it feels like we are letting ourselves or our families down. But really, we are just stunned to be plopped into a new environment without warning. Most people thrive on routine or are used to it such that it provided a stable backbone to their day. Now we float around stunned at the changes that just appeared in our lives a few months ago—our so-called “new normal.” Dr. Jennifer Goldin, a clinical psychologist based in the COVID-19 hotspot of South Florida, agrees. But some more advanced work than what Karen did may be necessary. “I think we are in a moment of cultural shock and adaptation is required,” she says. “People have to identify that what they may have done before may not work here. People are going to have to learn new coping strategies.” Dr. Goldin thinks that our previous behaviors may be detrimental to dealing with the current atmosphere of social isolation. She cites social media as an example. “Social media, ideally, was meant to bring people together and enhance connection. (However), right now, it is incredibly polarizing. It’s become either an echo chamber or an opportunity for alienation.” She adds, “You need to check in with yourself—are you clenching your fists or your jaw when reading something? You may need to dial it back a little now.” Dr. Goldin suggests that when we are engaged in an activity that may have brought us joy or at least a little diversion pre-pandemic, we now pause and ask ourselves if we are feeling better or worse than we did a few minutes ago. Becoming aware of our negative emotions is the first step in overcoming stagnation.

STYLE MD

“We can’t always control our environment, but we can control our choices,” she says. “Our thoughts can be like being on a sit and spin and we’re just moving too fast and circling around on the same thought. So, we have to disrupt that thought process.” To do so, Dr. Goldin advises becoming more engaged with our immediate environment. (Karen, by exploring her pineapple, was doing this even without psychological advice—she might be a very smart fish.) Just “wiggling your toes into the ground and feeling the carpet beneath your feet” can be helpful. Alternatively, Dr. Goldin suggests counting backwards from ten and possibly pairing that with deep breathing exercises. Then, do another check in. Are you feeling better? Do you

have more focus? If not, it may be time for a break and getting out into nature can be incredibly restorative. Though Dr. Goldin emphasizes that not everyone responds to the same things. She suggests making a list of the things that bring you joy and doing those things when feeling negative emotions, even if it is as simple as watching a “feel-good” movie or looking at old pictures.

Dr. Sherling is a general internist and clinical associate professor at Florida Atlantic University Schmidt College of Medicine. She is the author of several academic articles and a medical thriller, Not Quite Dead. Website: dawnharrissherling.com Twitter: @dharrissherling

“We can make choices that affect our mood in a positive way,” she says. “We just need to accommodate a new reality.” And just as Karen was able to look around and realize that she was okay in her new space, so will we. A beta fish may not have all the answers, or any really, except to point out that change is hard, but coping with it is possible.

Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group present the worldwide premiere of ‘Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’, the Tecnomar fleet’s new motor yacht available in a limited edition in reference to Lamborghini’s 1963 foundation. Performance, driving pleasure, attention to quality and details, emotion: these are the emotive features combined within the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, thanks to innovative engineering solutions and a distinct design unique to shared Italian style and tradition. This motor yacht project, developed by The Italian Sea Group, started with several collaborative sessions with the contribution of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile and inspiration from the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37: the hybrid super sports car incorporating benchmarking new supercapacitor and materials science technologies, that anticipates the future with an unmistakable design and completely customizable colour and details. The challenge of re-interpreting the common DNA traits of both brands has inspired all phases of the project, from the design principles to the definition of technical characteristics ensuring incredible performance, without neglecting the quality of materials and careful attention to detail. Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said: “This yacht represents the significance of creating a valuable partnership, at its best: our co-operation allows the essence of both organisations’ style and expertise to be transferred to different worlds, sharing in their diversity to interpret and add value to the final product in a new environment. If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision. I’m delighted to celebrate this successful collaboration.” “We announced this partnership in May, and today we present Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a motor yacht which will became as futuristic an icon as the car she is inspired by,” said Giovanni Costantino, CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “Selected owners around the world will own not only the fastest Tecnomar motor yacht in the fleet, but a Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 masterpiece. I’m proud that we have chosen to create this innovative and challenging project with Automobili Lamborghini, which links technology, supreme design, quality and performance.” Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is not just an exercise in style and design; it represents the vanguard in luxury speed boats. Inspired by

Lamborghini super sports cars’ performance, the most significant innovative features at the heart of the concept are speed and the dynamism of lightweight engineering. With two MAN V12-2000 hp engines, the motor yacht reaches 60 knots and will be the fastest of the Tecnomar fleet, satisfying the demands of the collector as well as those loving life at sea. The carbon fibre material, typical of Lamborghini super sports cars, puts this motor yacht firmly in the ultra-lightweight boat classification, with its 63 feet length weighing in at just 24 tons. The exterior design is characterized by a super sportive silhouette, with a cutting-edge but thoroughly nautical appearance. The hull and the superstructure are created from a highperformance shell, developed by naval engineers specializing in hydrodynamic sciences. They interpret the design lines, created by Marcello Gandini in the Miura and the Countach of the 60s and 70s, in a contemporary way. The hard top is inspired by Lamborghini roadsters: providing sun and wind protection while guaranteeing an outstanding aerodynamic performance. The bow lights are an homage to the Lamborghini concept car Terzo Millennio and to the Sián FKP 37, both distinctive for their Y-shaped front lights. The interiors of Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 are the result of high-tech design based on super-performing materials for weight and function, perfectly married with the best Made in Italy heritage. Lamborghini’s iconic clean lines, hexagon shapes, Y-motif and materials are clearly incorporated into the design, together with the fully customizable colours and materials in the manner of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme. Clients can choose from extensive exterior colours and livery options, while the interior is offered in two versions choosing from an extensive combination of materials. The motor yacht’s instrument panel interprets the car cockpit in a nautical style, completely integrating all navigation and control systems. As in Lamborghini super sports cars, details are finished in carbon fibre, with Lamborghini’s Carbon Skin™ used in the sports seats and on the helm, styled as the super sports car’s steering wheel. The unmistakable start/stop button, (two, one for each engine) are exactly the same used to start a Lamborghini engine. The first boat will be available at the beginning of 2021.

A South Fork in the Road - Wining, Dining & Slumbering in Southampton - The Hamptons By Karen Holly Berliner The Hamptons in Long Island New York has entered Phase 3 of reopening and has become a destination ready, willing and excited to have visitors and guests, resplendent with long days and blue skies, crystal clear waters and cultural happenings, albeit all socially distanced - so much to see, do and explore. The warm air has settled in to stay, encouraging guests to stay as well. The Hamptons conjures up images of lunching on local oysters and clams on the beach, splurging on bright red grilled lobsters for dinner, sunning and surfing by day and cocktail sipping in your best little black dress by night, dressed down in flip flops. Casual mingles with formal here and it just plain works - like the Hamptons as a whole. Maybe it’s the unpretentious vibe that attracts surfers and socialites alike. Its lighthouse stands stoically atop a rocky bluff overlooking the coastline of Montauk Point State Park, partnering with all things natural like its beaches (such as Ditch Plains Beach with the best surf on the island) and its blue pristine water loaded with fish. Peppered with a variety of hotels and guest houses along with top-notch restaurants and health-inspired venues, the Hamptons offers you the chance to do absolutely nothing or everything you desire. CELEBRITIES ACCUSED OF BEING MEAN IN REAL LIFE

YOU WON’T BELIEVE HOW SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE CELEBS BEHAVE WHEN THE CAMERAS AREN’T ROLLING! By Riesa Pascal

Heigl also famously bad-mouthed her own movie Knocked Up in a cover interview with Vanity Fair. Unsurprisingly, Heigl often struggled to find work afterwards which is further proof to never bite the hand that feeds you.

Ellen Degeneres Let’s start off with the one who inspired it all! Ellen DeGeneres is learning the hard way how important it is to be kind to everyone even when the cameras are off. A tweet from one of her former employees was the unassuming spark that now threatens to burn down DeGeneres’ entire career. The tweet read, “Right now we all need a little kindness. You know, like Ellen Degeneres always talks about! ... She’s also notoriously one of the meanest people alive. Respond to this with the most insane stories you’ve heard about Ellen being mean & I’ll match every one w/ $2 to @ LAFoodBank.” The tweet garnered thousands of replies from fans, former employees and even other celebrities. Needless to say, DeGeneres’ future in television is looking a little uncertain as rumor has it there are now talks of having her primetime slot replaced.

Mike Meyers In the late 90s and early 00s, Mike Meyers was at the top of the world! Not only did he experience a successful stint on SNL, he also went on to star in the Austin Powers trilogy and voiced Shrek in the beloved DreamWorks films. Back then, no one would’ve ever believed the happy-go-lucky international man of mystery could have a mean bone in him, but numerous reports suggest otherwise. While he’s known for delivering laughs on screen, the comedian is reportedly a nightmare to work with on set. Some reports even claim him to be a control freak and grumpy. Amy Hill, Meyer’s The Cat In The Hat co-star, spoke of him in an interview saying that working with him was “miserable.” Apparently, he kept everyone waiting and even demanded someone feed him chocolates on set.

Katherine Heigl As someone who recently started watching Grey’s Anatomy for the first time, this one stung a little bit! Katherine Heigl starred in the hit series, but burned bridges in 2008 after being nominated for an Emmy and withdrawing her name for consideration, because “I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination.” Heigl walked away from the show soon after and showrunner Shonda Rhimes, was quick to react to her, saying “no Heigls…I don’t put up with bullsh** or nasty people.” In addition to throwing shade at Grey’s Anatomy,

Mariah Carey During her 30+ year career in the limelight, Mariah Carey has earned herself a reputation of being an ultimate diva which, if you ask her staff, is just a nicer way of saying she is rude, mean and difficult to work with. Just a few examples of her “diva-ish” ways are as follows.... In 2005, Mariah made reservations to stay at the Baglioni

Lose FAT & INCHES Noninvasively

Hotel in London, but refused to get out of her limousine until the hotel provided a red carpet lined with white candles. She also stormed out of President Obama’s inauguration ceremony in 2009 because she couldn’t understand why she wasn’t seated at the same table as the First Couple. When she appeared on the first ever episode of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, a show in which the talk show host drives celebs around whilst singing along to their classic tracks, Carey initially refused to sing and asked if they could “just drive around and have a chat” instead. I guess having hundreds of millions dollars to your name does something to your manners. Christian Bale It’s not exactly a secret that Christian Bale is known to be difficult to work with. Bale’s tendency to lash out at crew and fellow cast members has been well documented, most notably on the set of Terminator Salvation. Apparently the film’s director of photography, Shane Hurlbut, walked into Bale’s eyeline on a day of shooting and Bale totally went off. The backlash in the media was instant and led Bale to apologize, but the damage was done. As if being rude to coworkers wasn’t bad enough, The Dark Knight star has also been known to be horrible to his own fans. On one occasion, Bale apparently said to a fan that they should be “eliminated,” and that “a screwdriver thrust through the eyeball into the brain prevents any screaming.” Yikes!
