The first thing to know about your accent wall is that it should be the wall directly opposite of the door so that it is the first thing your guests notice when they walk in the room. SCHITT'S CREEK Dan Levy and Eugene Levy are co-stars and co-creators of the acclaimed series Schitt's Creek. Not only did they play father and son on the show, Eugene's daughter, Sarah Levy, also had an ongoing role as the local café server (though her character wasn’t related to the fictional Rose family). The successful show aired for six seasons and is available for streaming on Netflix. A QUIET PLACE Real-life spouses Emily Blunt and John Krasinski played Evelyn and Lee Abbott in A Quiet Place, but the awardwinning film almost starred Blunt’s friend as she initially didn’t want the part and tried suggesting the friend for the role instead. DONNIE DARKO A Quiet Place wasn’t the only film that almost didn’t star its intended cast. Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal played Donnie and Elizabeth Darko in Donnie Darko, but the film's director had to convince Maggie that they weren't offering her the part just because she was Jake's big sister. Richard Kelly recalled the casting in an interview saying, "She was already trying to talk me out of casting her, in a very selfless way. And I was just really impressed by that, and by how strong-willed and determined [she was]." THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS Will Smith and his son Jaden played Christopher Gardner Jr. and Chris Gardner in the Oscar-nominated film, The Pursuit of Happyness. Orlando Museum of Art A Boundless Drop to a Boundless Ocean

This exhibition curated by Dr. Shiva Balaghi displays a collaboration between the Orlando Museum of Art and the American University in Cairo. A Boundless Drop to a Boundless Ocean presents 21 different artworks from US-based artists of Iranian and Arab heritage and will be on display at OMA from now until May 2nd. The title of the exhibition is taken from Kahlil Gibran’s bestseller, The Prophet, and is about an immigrant’s transformation. “The immigrant artist’s journey entails a creative negotiation between the past and the present, between here and there.” With this journey, viewers can also witness the artists’ own visual languages through the

There are many chiropractors in Central Florida, but only one like Dr. David Jenkins. Dr. Jenkins’ office is located in Casselberry, yet his patients travel from far and wide. Although Dr. Jenkins’ love is for his wife and children, his passion is helping people. With over 17 years of professional experience, Dr. Jenkins has been called a “master healer”. Dr. David Jenkins was born in Austin, Minnesota and raised in DeLand, FL. His personal experience as a patient is what drove Dr. Jenkins to become a Chiropractor. “Growing up, I originally wanted to become a dentist, to follow in my Dad’s footsteps,” Dr. Jenkins said. “However, I began to notice back pain from my early years as a lifeguard. My Dad suggested I visit his friend who was a local Chiropractor, and I was hooked. After I experienced the relief those Chiropractic adjustments gave me, I decided to become a Chiropractor, so I could help people who are suffering like I was.” Dr. Jenkins attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO, but returned to Florida to be closer to his family and friends. He provides treatments like Chiropractic Adjustments, Acupuncture, spinal decompression and traction, spinal rehabilitation, core strengthening rehabilitation, physiotherapy modalities, and “MUA” Manipulation Under Anesthesia. Dr. Jenkins is a distinguished alumnus of several postgraduate programs including the prestigious Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD), where he studied Whiplash and Brain Traumatology with Dr. Arthur Croft—regarded by many as one of the foremost research authorities on Car Accident Injuries. As a result, Dr. Jenkins acquired a wealth of knowledge on Auto Injuries and Accident Reconstruction, and how to effectively treat patients affected by such ailments. After practicing several years in Orlando, Dr. Jenkins had the opportunity to join the practice of an Orlando Orthopedic Surgeon. He gained over 5-years-experience helping patients recover from severe injuries related to Auto Accidents, Sports Injuries, postsurgical rehabilitation of the spine and extremities, fracture care, and other effective treatments for severe neck and back pain.

Gerald R Mattia D.C. has been practicing chiropractic for forty four years. Even before that his life has not been ordinary. At the age of fifteen he had been given 6 months to live. “I was born with a severe heart condition called aortic stenosis.” People suffering from this condition have an aortic valve in their heart that gradually degenerates and therefore the heart cannot function properly. Heart surgery in the sixties was not as successful as today. He also had bad allergies. His mother was not ready to give up. On a friend’s recommendation, she took her son to a chiropractor. “The aortic valve stopped closing by 92 percent and my allergies were gone.” Dr. Mattia said. He was able to live to the age of 35 when he received his first new aortic valve and the success rate of heart surgery was higher. Dr. Mattia became a chiropractor because of this. He earned his chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College and opened a practice in 1977. Dr. Mattia practiced in New Jersey from 1977 to 2001. During that time he received many awards: Chiropractor of the Year 1996 and Sports Chiropractor of the year several times. He was appointed to the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, on which he served for six years, by the governor of New Jersey. He was also a board of director for the International Chiropractic Association and the Northeast Regional Director. Dr. Mattia has been the president of International Chiropractic Association Sports Health and Fitness Council from 1996-2011 during which he joined Arnold Schwarzenegger every year in Columbus Ohio for the ICA Fitness Symposium. The Symposium is held in conjuncture with the Schwarzenegger Fitness Weekend. In his quest to provide clients with the best preventative and therapeutic chiropractic care available, Dr. Mattia studies research, treatments and technologies from around the world. Consequently his office houses some of the most unique, cutting edge technology available: decompression therapy machines which help with disc problems in the low back and neck eliminating the need for surgery, the LPG key module for endermotherapy, class 4 laser to promote healing , and Spine Force which offers non static exercise for patients and helps rehabilitate and develop muscle strength for the core and intrinsic muscle of the spine. It was developed in France and Dr. Mattia helped introduce it in the United States. These technologies have come to complement the fundamental chiropractic adjustment. In 2001 Dr Mattia retired from his NJ practice and moved to Florida to begin semi retirement. But the quiet time did not last too long. Outside of the office, Dr. Mattia does power walking and likes to travel and loves golf and baseball. All during his career Dr. Mattia has taken care of many athletes from middle school to professional as well as regular clientele. His love for sports has helped him understand that spinal care for athletes is required for better performance and nervous system function. Dr. Mattia practices with his wife Paulette Mattia D.C, and Guillermo Nazario D.C. Dr. Mattia has helped many chiropractic college graduates begin their careers by having them work with him and gain experience. Dr. Mattia also has begun a new venture consisting of non surgical regenerative therapy for knees and other joints at Viscogen. Dr. Mattia has coached Babe Ruth Baseball, sponsored Team Gamez Foundation Chipping for Children, Central Florida YMCA, Orlando Union Rescue Mission and Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe.

Dr. Mattia’s love for his practice and clients is apparent in his contagious enthusiasm and liveliness. “The best part of my practice is the fact that people come to our practice and get better naturally, without medication. Touching thousands of lives over the years with the benefits of chiropractic is a professional achievement. Living to the age of 70 when I was supposed to die at fifteen is a personal achievement. A great cardiac surgeon, Kevin Accola M.D., and chiropractic care and prayers saved my life.”
