EDITOR’S NOTE
Looking back at the beginning of STARDUST Magazine in 2012, I never would’ve imagined the development that has led to what it is today. It has always been a friend when I needed it the most—keeping my mind occupied while I dealt with consecutive hardships in my life. Despite it all, I was always motivated to find the inspiration that was the driving force behind the magazine— the need to share talented works and to build new relationships with trust in order to make something magical. I’ve learned so much from handling everything that is STARDUST— from producing photo shoots to connecting with PR agencies, brands and amazing creatives from around the world, to designing editorial layout and managing social media. That might sound like plenty of work for a four-person team, but I completed it all these past five years, sometimes with help along the way. I am very thankful and appreciative for their continuous support for the Magazine—Justin, Doreen, Christianna, Brandi, Holly, Shakiyah, Jacqui, Wil, Lucrecia, Campbell, Eric, Anh, Leisa, and T. Patrick (if I miss anyone you know who you are). This is the longest editor’s note STARDUST has ever had, and for good reason. I am sad to say that I am putting the magazine on hiatus after this issue is released. I’m not sure for how long or if it will ever be recharged, but STARDUST will always be my baby. I hope to come back with new discoveries for you. I leave this note to everyone reading: please never stop believing in yourself, never stop creating and never stop sharing.
