I am thrilled to welcome everyone to the Source Kids Disability Expo in Sydney. We are so excited to be bringing this event to Syney for the third time.
The expo will showcase over 130 product and service providers giving young people with disability and their families, carers and professionals the opportunity to discover and try products, as well as talk and connect with providers.
We have some amazing interactive zones within our expo, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. These zones include our Active, Virtual Reality, Arcade, Nature and Screen Zone, as well as a Sensory Zone which includes a Silent Disco and also a place to relax. And of course, we have our Stage with an incredible line up of entertainment, including four-time Gold Medal Paralympian - Madi de Rozario, Tiptoe Giants, Special Olympics Australia, Benny time and much more!!

We have loads of fun, active and entertaining zones available throughout the expo – designed to make the event a great day out for all.
Active Zone
Come and find out what your body can do in the Active Zone, where you’ll be able to test your balancing, climbing, and jumping skills with a fun soft-fall obstacle course. No matter if you’re 6 or 60, this is sure to be a good time! The Active Zone is located in the front middle of hall, where it will be available for play during all opening hours of the expo.

Screen Zone
Chill out, recharge and play at our Screen Zone! After taking in everything at the expo, why not chill out and enjoy our Screen Zone, complete with comfy chairs and a big screen. With no shortage of options, we’ll be sharing videos and movies all day. You can find the Screen Zone at the back middle of hall and it will be there during opening hours on both days.
Sensory Zone
Put on some headphones and enjoy our Silent Disco while exploring all the latest and greatest sensory equipment in our Sensory Zone. It’s a great place to take a break before setting off again to explore the rest of the expo. The Sensory Zone will be open on both event days and located at the back righthand side of the hall.

Do you want to dive into the full expo experience without being overstimulated? We have your ‘ears’ covered! Speak to one of our friendly Source Kids staff members at the Sensory Headset Loan counter (on concourse level), where you can loan a headset for the duration of your stay. Please drop the headset back on your way out of the expo.

GET READY TO BE ENTERTAINED!
Our line-up of fun on the Stage will get you moving, grooving, clapping and cheering. We’ll have the acclaimed Tip Toe Giants taking centre stage, Special Olympics Australia, Benny time and much more! Plus some of your favourite characters coming to join us. You won’t want to miss out. The Stage is in the centre of the hall, and you can check out the full program of entertainment on pages 18-19.
Arcade Zone
This is the place to be! So much fun for everyone! Who’s ready to shoot some hoops & strike some goals. Head to the Arcade Zone on the left-hand side of the hall, where there are three interactive areas to choose from. Basketball, Foosball or Air Hockey - do them all in any order you like! The Arcade Zone will be the happening place, open both days of expo.
VR Zone
Immerse yourself into another world with our amazing VR Zone! Thanks to the technology of virtual reality, you will experience incredible adventures without having to go anywhere. Jump aboard our roller coaster and embark on a journey or beat saber your way to a top score, the choice is yours. Our VR Zone will be located at the front right-hand side of the exhibition hall and will be open on both days of expo.
Racing Running
Come and try out the fun sport of Race Running!
A Race Runner is a custom built three-wheeled frame where the runner is fully supported by a saddle and leans against a chest support, propelling themselves forward by the feet (one or both), while using the hands and/or arms to steer. Dejay Medical will have Race Runners on display and for use during the event, located at the back left of the hall.
Nature Zone
Take in the tranquillity of our calming Nature Zone where there are some wonderous animals big & small hiding out for you to seek and find. Grab a magnifying glass and take an adventure along our forest wall to see how much wonderful wildlife you can find. The Nature Zone will be located on the right-hand side of the hall and open both days of expo.

Linda de Rozario will give us all insight into raising a child with disability; the hardships, triumphs, and everything in between. Raising Madi to become one of Australia’s finest Paralympian’s is no easy feat and this tell-all will be one you won’t want to miss!

SPECIAL OLYMPICS AUSTRALIA
Playing for All
– is a gamesbased program for both children and adults with intellectual disability/ autism. It helps them get active, make friends and have fun while learning important life skills. Sessions include small-sided games that allow for high involvement and games with modified rules, area and equipment to promote inclusion and prompt understanding. Their vision is an inclusive Australia where all people live an active, healthy and fulfilling life. Join the team from 11.30am to try some target and movement games.

NAB AFL - AUSKICK KICKABILITY
Auskick Kickability is a safe, fun and inclusive practical program, delivered by experienced junior club volunteers. It allows children of all abilities to learn the skills of AFL and practice them in fun, modified games. The program is supported by a new initiative, titled AFL AllPlay. This digital platform offers information, practical tips and strategies, footy stories and videos for coaches, clubs, health professionals, parents and players of all abilities. Head to the Stage from 11.00am both days and you might just score a footy to take home, too!

Benny is an ARIA nominated artist and early childhood educator with a career spanning over 30 years. He will delight us all on Stage with songs to celebrate community and expressing individual choice. ANGIE WHO
Angie Who, a Sydney based independent singer-songwriter creates musical experiences that bring families together with whimsy, bluegrassy, folk music.
