We’re so excited to be back in stunning Sydney for the fourth time, following hugely successful expos in the past three years. I couldn’t be more delighted to welcome you all.

We’ll have a showcase of over 130 product and service providers, offering families, caregivers and professionals the chance to discover and try out innovative solutions.

Our expo comes with interactive zones, including the Active, Arcade, Nature and Movie Zones. And of course, there’s our Stage hosting awesome entertainment from the Tiptoe Giants, Inclusive Interactive Putting, DOTS Dance over the Spectrum, Cricket Blast NSW – just enough fun without going over the top!

A massive shoutout to the dedicated Source Kids team for making this happen. And big thanks to our sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers and performers – your support is the backbone of this inclusive event.

Get ready to be entertained!

Our line-up of fun on the Stage will get you moving, grooving, clapping and cheering. We’ll have the acclaimed Tiptoe Giants taking centre stage, DOTS Dance over the Spectrum, Cricket Blast NSW and much more! Plus some of your favourite characters coming to join us. You won’t want to miss out. The Stage is in the middle of the hall, and you can check out the full program of entertainment on pages 18-20.

Come and find out what your body can do in the Active Zone, where you’ll be able to test your balancing, climbing, and jumping skills with a fun soft-fall obstacle course. No matter if you’re 6 or 60, this is sure to be a good time! The Active Zone is located in the front middle of hall, where it will be available for play during all opening hours of the expo.

We have loads of fun, active and entertaining zones available through the expo – designed to make the event a great day out for all.

Take in the tranquillity of our calming Nature Zone where there are some wonderous animals big & small hiding out for you to seek and find. Grab a magnifying glass and take an adventure along our forest wall to see how much wonderful wildlife you can find. The Nature Zone will be located on the right-hand side of the hall and open both days of expo.

movie zone

We have some fun for everyone! Who’s ready to shoot some hoops & strike some goals. Head to the Arcade Zone on the left-hand side of the hall, where there are three interactive areas to choose from. Basketball, NBA Jam or Air Hockey - do them all in any order you like! The Arcade Zone will be the happening place, open both days of expo.

Come and try out the fun sport of Race Running!

A Race Runner is a custom built three-wheeled frame where the runner is fully supported by a saddle and leans against a chest support, propelling themselves forward by the feet (one or both), while using the hands and/or arms to steer. Dejay Medical will have Race Runners on display and for use during the event, located at the back left of the hall.

Do you want to dive into the full expo experience without being overstimulated? We have your ‘ears’ covered! Speak to one of our friendly Source Kids staff members at the Sensory Headset Loan counter (front of hall entrance), where you can loan a headset for the duration of your stay. Please drop the headset back on your way out of the expo.

Put on some headphones, kick back on a bean bag and enjoy our Silent Movie Zone. It’s a great place to chill out and enjoy some down time before setting off again to explore the rest of the expo. The Movie Zone will be open on both event days and located on the right-hand side at the back of the hall

VR Zone dino zone

Immerse yourself into another world with our amazing VR Zone! Thanks to the technology of virtual reality, you will experience incredible adventures without having to go anywhere. Jump aboard our roller coaster and embark on a journey or beat saber your way to a top score, the choice is yours. Our VR Zone will be located at the front right-hand side of the exhibition hall and will be open on both days of expo.

Get ready to roar with excitement with Jurassic Jack and his Dino Jeep! Meet Jack and his rangers in the Dino Zone located at the back middle of the hall. Stomp by the Dino Zone and have photos with the prehistoric tribute Jeep (it even roars like a T- Rex). Fossils and movie replicas will be displayed along with Jr ranger’s fossil dig boxes. You will be delighted to meet the cute baby dinosaurs and cheeky Spike the Spinosaurus. He is looking forward to helping make the Sydney Source Kids Expo a RoARsOME event.

COLOUR THE WORLD WITH THE ARIA NOMINATED AND VIBRANT TIPTOE GIANTS!

It’s time to Colour the World! Open your eyes, ears, heart and minds on a rainbow, musical adventure with Tiptoe Giants. Do you have a favourite colour? Put your dancing shoes on and come stomp, dance and Tiptoe with Lee, Vee and Meg to explore and discover some of the beautiful things that make the world a colourful rainbow. They will be lighting up the Stage at 12:00pm, both days.

Woolworths Cricket Blast presented by Cricket NSW Action packed and goes beyond the boundaries’ ensuring cricket is a sport for everyone. With a commitment to inclusivity, the program provides tailored opportunities for children of all abilities to embrace the joy of cricket. Through adaptive coaching techniques, accessible facilities, and a supportive community, Woolworths Cricket Blast promotes the empowerment of young cricketers with disabilities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment. Join the team at the stage from 11:00am!

Inclusive, Interactive and Adaptive Golf with the Putting Professional team

Incorporating both indoor and outdoor game play activities such as golf putting can offer numerous benefits to participants such as social engagement, physical activity, variety and choice, and let’s not forget the therapeutic benefits. Improve your fine motor skills and cognitive abilities in a friendly and easy way.

The team will be on stage to take visitors through the convenience of putting, with a fun and interactive session.

Get those putters out, we want to see some holes-in-one! Join the team at the stage from 11:30am!

Find your wings with DOTSDance over the Spectrum

DOTS children feel a huge sense of accomplishment each class and they want you to feel it too! Your unique needs will be met, wholeheartedly embraced, and celebrated! Come to feel nurtured each step of the way by the experienced team of educators. Bring your funkiest moves and get down with the amazing young performers from DOTS on Stage. There will be jumping, leaping, balancing, dancing, skipping, rolling, spinning and crashing –sound like fun? No experience necessary and everyone is welcome to join in at 12:45pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Everyone Can Dance is a not-for-profit registered dance charity. They are the only all abilities dance charity in the Macarthur area and are solely run and managed by volunteers. Classes are FREE as they fundraise regularly to cover all costs for students and families. Affectionally known as ECD and described as the happiest place on earth, come and join the National Disability Award 2023 winners for an innovative and inspirational session on Saturday afternoon. At Gymnastics NSW, they believe that gymnastics is a sport for everybody and are passionate about creating a more inclusive space for all. GNSW has partnered with Special Olympics Australia for this session to teach you the basics of gymnastics by having a go at some fun, fundamental skills with their accredited coaches that will improve your fitness, coordination, and basic fine motor skills! Campsites are often strewn with these bendy, colourful tubes; abandoned poolside to be used by new families arriving as others check out. But what if we told you that you should think again before leaving yours behind? Because they could be your child’s passport to world of fine and gross motor development, and a whole heap of fun. Inexpensive and versatile; with a bit of creativity, pool noodles can be used in and out of the water to work on balance, strength, hand-eye coordination and more. Read on as we outline some inventive ways to explore their potential for a summer of endless fun and skill-building. POOL NOODLE PAINTING Painting with pool noodles is fun way to change up an arts and crafts afternoon, making use of unconventional materials. By dipping the pool noodles in paint and rolling or stamping them onto paper, kids can produce unique and colourful designs. This budget-friendly activity not only encourages imagination but also helps develop fine motor skills. It’s simple yet enjoyable project that can keep kids entertained and inspired on a sunny afternoon. OBSTACLE COURSE Who standard course when you can build your own noodleinspired version? Create a series of challenges involving stepping on noodles like stepping stones, crawling through noodle tunnels, and even noodles to jump over. This activity promotes both fine and gross motor skills, encouraging strategic thinking and adaptability. Make use of wooden dowel rods in the ground to keep the noodles in place. WATER WALL one needs extra materials peg board, cable ties and some funnels and containers should do the trick. By attaching pool noodles (cut them into various lengths) as pathways for water to flow through, children can explore cause and effect, experimenting with various spouts and angles. Let the kids discover the Noodle creatures Another fun craft activity, by cutting and attaching noodles together, children can design their own unique creatures, adding googly eyes, colourful tape, and other decorative elements. For that extra touch go all out with feathers and glitter if that’s your thing! Problem-solving, fine motor and visual perceptual skills all come in to play here. for fantastic, budget-friendly alternatives to tracks. Simply cut the noodles in half lengthwise to create a groove for the cars to race through, and then arrange them in various configurations. The soft, flexible material adds an element unpredictability to the races, making it all the more exciting for kids. It’s simple, low-cost solution that encourages imagination, DIY innovation, and hours of entertainment. basic principles of physics all while keeping cool on a warm day! As a bonus, activities on vertical surface are great for natural wrist extension fine motor skills. RING TOSS Use wooden and noodles size; stand the noodles over the dowels and you have simple, colourful targets to throw rings over. Place your targets at increasingly demanding intervals. BATTING WITH BALLOONS Balloons are loved by physiotherapists for the gross motor and hand eye coordination work outs they give our kids. You can level up the fun by adding in pool noodles as ‘bats’ (cut to the length that works for your child). You can extend this activity even further by adding laundry baskets as targets/goals to guide the balloons towards. NOODLE LIMBO Pool noodles make great ‘sticks’ or rope alternatives to limbo under. kids with performing different animal walks as they go under the noodle to work on all parts of the body. Ready to do a crab walk? Let’s go! POOL NOODLE BALANCE GAME Pool noodles are perfect, low cost balance beams! Place around the yard, or even indoors an instant balance workout. Cutting and shaping: Begin by cutting the pool noodles into various shapes and sizes. You can create rings, cubes, or any other shapes that suit your sensory bin theme. Water play: Floaty pool are ideal for themed sensory bins. Fill the bin with and add the pool noodles to create a floating obstacle course for small toys or boats. The texture of noodles adds an interesting tactile element. Fine motor skills: Encourage children to thread smaller pool noodle pieces onto strings or pipe cleaners hidden within bin, promoting fine motor skills and creativity. Letter and recognition: Cut the pool noodles discs and or numbers Children can for specific letters numbers, helping with early literacy and numeracy skills. Sensory search: Hide objects or toys within the pool noodles, creating a sensory scavenger hunt for kids to dig and explore. Sensory Bin Play There are a number of ways that you can incorporate pool noodles into a sensory bin: How many times have you gone to a pool or beach with a pool noodle and then just left it behind?
