DISABILITY I am thrilled to welcome everyone to the Source Kids Disability Expo in Brisbane. We are so happy to bring this event back to Brisbane for the fourth time after three fantastic events. The expo brings together the latest products, services, technology and information under the one roof, for the two-day event. The expo will showcase over 150 product and service providers giving young people with a disability and their families, carers and professionals the opportunity to discover and try products and talk with providers. There will also be some amazing interactive zones within our expo making it the perfect day out for all the family. These zones include our Story Time, Sensory, Active, Screen and Game zones and of course, we have our Stage with an incredible line up of entertainment including the Tiptoe Giants, QLD Cricket, InsideOutside Dance, the roaring Brisbane Lions and much more! I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Source Kids team, for their relentless enthusiasm and passion in making this event such a wonderful success.

We have loads of fun, active and entertaining zones available throughout the event – designed to make the event a great day out for all.
ZONE OVERVIEW ACTIVE ZONE Come and find out what your body can do in the Active Zone, where you’ll be able to test your balancing, climbing, and jumping skills with a fun softfall obstacle course. No matter if you’re 6 or 60, this is sure to be a good time! The Active Zone is located in the centre left of the hall, where it will be available for play during all opening hours of the expo. This zone is supported by HART Sport.
GAME ZONE Choose your own adventure! Head to the Game Zone on the left-hand side of the hall, where there are three interactive areas and you can decide what you want to do first. Air Hockey? Lego building? Imaginary play? Do them all in any order you like! This zone is supported by Lego Australia.
SCREEN ZONE Chill out, recharge and play at our Screen Zone! After taking in everything at the expo, why not chill out and enjoy our Screen Zone, complete with comfy chairs and a big screen. With no shortage of options, we’ll be sharing videos, movies and will even have the xbox set up ready for you to take on your mates. You can find the Screen Zone in the centre right of the exhibition hall and it’ll be there during opening hours on both days.
SENSORY ZONE Don’t miss the Sensory Zone, brought to you by Sensory Wizard. This is a space where you can chill out and explore all the latest and greatest sensory equipment. It’s a great place to take a break before setting off again to explore the rest of the expo. The Sensory Zone will be open during opening hours on both event days and located at the back of the hall.
STAGE Get ready to be entertained! Our line-up of fun on the Stage will get you moving, clapping and cheering. We’ll have the acclaimed Tiptoe Giants taking centre stage, plus dancing, fun fitness and some of your favourite characters coming to join us. You won’t want to miss out. The Stage is in the centre of the hall, and you can check out the full program of entertainment on page 20-21.
STRIKE ZONE Calling all Nerf fans! We’ve set up a Strike Zone just for you—because who doesn’t love hiding, chasing, and setting up targets? Bring your A-game to the Strike Zone located in the back right-hand corner of the hall for the challenges we’ve set up. It’s open during opening hours on both days of the event, so come and challenge yourself as often as you like!
STORY TIME ZONE Do you love to read? So do we! That’s why we’ve created the Story Time Zone—a comfy place for you to escape into another world. We have books for all ages and reading levels, so whether you’re a picture-book lover or a seasoned reader, there’s something here for you.
RACE RUNNING Come and try out the fun sport of Race Running! A Race Runner is a custom built three-wheeled frame where the runner is fully supported by a saddle and leans against a chest support, propelling themselves forward by the feet (one or both), while using the hands and/or arms to steer. Dejay Medical will have Race Runners on display and for use during the event, there is even a fun obstacle course to run around! Located at the front left-hand side of the hall.

Do you have a favourite colour? Put your dancing shoes on and come stomp, dance and Tiptoe with Lee, Vee and Meg to explore and discover some of the beautiful things that make the world a colourful rainbow.

G IN G ERCLOUD’S M O D I FI E D RU G BY P RO GRAM GingerCloud Foundation has developed a world-first, modified rugby program (MRP), a form of touch-only rugby union, where each player has their own PlayerMentor on the field supporting them. Players experience the sheer thrill of playing rugby, often for the first time. Come and give it a try at the Stage Zone at 1.30pm both days.
Guide Dogs Queensland will be demonstrating and providing Tips and Safety information regarding guiding a person of low vision in the community. They will also offer the opportunity to be blindfolded and have a low vision experience, using a cane and other assistive technology.

WCMX & Adaptive Skate can be achieved with a wheelchair, walker, adaptive trike, mobile stander or anything with wheels! Adaptive Skating is an awesome way to learn cool useful skills like hopping curbs or climbing big hills. Come and check out the adapative obstacle course at the Stage Zone from 2.30pm on Saturday and 2.00pm on Sunday.

Multilingual Information Access
MiAccess is a new website created by Cultural Perspectives under the Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Grant received through the Federal Department of Social Services. The wesbite aims to address the lack of access to information about disability and the NDIS in languages other than English. Parents and carers can use MiAccess to improve their understanding about the NDIS and its supports. MiAccess can be accessed in 11 languages: Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Korean, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese and English, and hosts resources in 50 community languages. www.miaccess.com.au
