PASTORAL PRAYER
SCRIPTURE
SCRIPTURE Psalm 133 Bill Gabbard
All: How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord ordained His blessing, life forevermore.
HYMN NO. 100 Lo, He Comes with Clouds Descending REGENT SQUARE
(Sung to the tune of Angels, from the Realms of Glory, Hymn No. 126)
ANTHEM Lovelace; Words by Charles Wesley
What Shall I Render to My God?
Sanctuary Choir; Jack Mitchener, organ
What shall I render to my God, for all His mercy’s store? I’ll take the gifts He hath bestowed and humbly ask for more.
The sacred cup of saving grace I will with thanks receive, And all His promises embrace and to His glory live.
My vows I will to His great name before His people pay, And all I have, and all I am, upon His altar lay.
Thy lawful servant, Lord, I owe to Thee whate’er is mine. Born in Thy family below, and by redemption Thine.
Thy hands created me, Thy hands from sin have set me free, The mercy that hath loosed my hands hath bound me fast to Thee.
Praise Him, ye saints, the God of love who hath Thy sins forgiv’n, Till gathered to the church above, we sing the songs of Heav’n

WE'RE "PEOPLE PEOPLE"
FOR GUESTS WE HAVEN'T MET YET
Welcome to church! Make yourself at home here! Settle in for a transformative and joyful hour of worship. We'd love to be helpful in your faith journey. There's a green card in the pew rack—I'm New Here. Use it to share as much information as you like and drop it in the offering plate. We understand that some people are hesitant to fill out church cards. It's true—a member of our pastoral staff will reach out, but you won't be flooded with calls, emails or requests. Engagement with us will be at your own pace; we just want to know who you are and how we can pray for you.
FOR GUESTS WE KNOW & CHURCH MEMBERS
Welcome back to church! Your presence is part of what makes Sundays at Second-Ponce so wonderful. If you're a guest who's ready to take the next step or a church member who wants to deepen your involvement, fill out the red pew card—I'm a Regular—and drop it in the offering plate. Let us know how we can help.
MORE GOOD STUFF
EVERYONE IS AN "INSIDER" AT SPDL
We're pulling back the curtain on some experiences and words you'll encounter today.
• Church in Conference: Once per quarter (January, April, July and October), our church family gathers after worship for a casual lunch and conversation around important church business like budget information and ministry updates.
• Doxology: The Doxology is a short hymn of praise. We use it as transition music when children leave the Sanctuary for Kids Worship.
• FriYAY: Often, our Kids' Club meets on a Friday evening to have fun as a group and give parents a night out. We call it FriYAY because everyone is excited to participate!
• Invocation: The first prayer of the service invoking the spirit of God to be with us as we worship.
• SPdL: An abbreviation for Second-Ponce de Leon. We pronounce it "Spee-duhl."
• SPdLU: An acronym for Second-Ponce de Leon University, our Wednesday evening time of adult discipleship.
• Vacation Bible School: Also known as VBS, this fun-filled week for kids with music, games, crafts, Bible stories, snacks and more! Held in the summer during typical "vacation" months, VBS is one of the happiest weeks of the year!
CHILDCARE DURING WORSHIP
We love to see children at Second-Ponce, and we have a Kids’ Club area just for them! It's one floor up from the Sanctuary, and our greeters will be happy to show you the way. In the Kids' Club, there’s a nursery and Kids Worship for babies–5th grade. You may take your children to the Kids' Club before the service or, if you prefer, they can stay with you in the Sanctuary for the entire hour or until the Doxology (when kids leave with children's ministry leaders). After worship, pick them up in the Kids’ Club.
HOW TO JOIN
Second-Ponce enthusiastically welcomes you to make a commitment to Christ and our community of faith. At any time during the Hymn of Response, simply walk to the front of the Sanctuary where a member of our ministry team will greet you with warmth and joy. If you're uncomfortable being "in the spotlight," but still want to join–that's ok! Speak with one of our ministers after worship and they'll walk you through an alternate plan.

TODAY'S MESSAGE
Dr. Dock Hollingsworth | Senior Pastor Invited to Touch
John 20:19–31
Some of us inherit the Christian tradition and make a natural progression to faith. Many are baptized as children who accept the tradition and claims. Others doubt and wrangle. Jesus invites Thomas to reach out and touch Him. There is no judgment for those who need more convincing than others. We are all walking each other home.
