ON THE RISE POET! WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF POETRY? Art comes from the heart so to me all forms of art is poetry how ever you choose to express your self is poetry.

DO YOU REMEMBER THE NAME AND INSPIRATION BEHIND YOUR FIRST SPOKEN WORD? A poet named Saul Williams played a movie called slam the I saw in 1996 , it was like I was watching myself and I said that’s what I want to do.
WHAT IS 1 GOAL YOU HAVE FOR YOUR POETRY IN 2021? Well I’m still the new kid in town so my goal is to grow and expand my brand and fan base and start putting together my own events!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN ON THIS JOURNEY OF POETRY AND WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE JORNEY? I was doing music first, I started writing in 95 ,I did a little poetry in New Orleans In 2004 , my family on my dad’s side would have a talent show every thanksgiving and I would do spoken word . But it wasn’t until I moved to Houston 3 years ago when I really planted my feet in the poetry world. My favorite part is meeting and hearing so many dope poets out here and sharing my heART and mind with the people!

Productions was created on January 5th 2019 underneath the direction of Felicia Shantell also known to the community as poet goddess Fe, with IAG mission being, bringing the community together through different forms of Art. I.A.G. Productions is a congressionally recognized entertainment house that puts on artist showcases around the city that also puts on fundraisers to build awareness about different things going on in our community.
