“EVENT HORIZON” Friday 30 September 2022 Theatre

An Event Horizon

The “Event Horizon” of a black hole is often called ‘the point of no return’. TEDxYouth@RadleyCollege aims to create a platform where students can learn about the fast-moving world around them. Our distinguished list of speakers will offer insights into the prospects and uncertainties of the future, as we are engulfed by the ‘black hole’ of the future. Let’s pause. Gather our thoughts. Then, we’ll start to shape a future full of innovation.

OX14 Learning Partnership The OX14 Learning Partnership is a group of six state and independent schools working in partnership to raise educational aspirations across Abingdon by providing opportunities for students and staff to be challenged, inspired, and learn from each other. What better way to achieve this than through a TEDx Youth event; created for students and by students. This type of collaboration is at the heart of successful partnership, bringing together a diversity of thought and ideas, with a recognition that through the voices of many we can make meaningful change. We wish the students from Larkmead, John Mason, Fitzharrys, Abingdon, St Helen and St Katharine, and Radley an enjoyable, thought-provoking, and inspirational day. Great minds think unalike.
