Greetings to all of you!!! Another year has elapsed and Obscene Extreme is coming up again!!! I know many promoters who literally tremble and cannot wait it is all over. It is very different with us. I cannot wait for the first band to fret a chord!!! I love OEF and look forward to every moment of this fest of extreme music as that`s what OEF is for me, a fest once a year, beloved Battlefield and loads of friends and an unbelievable portion of our music!!! Just now writing these words a lot of bands are going to arrive to us from all over the world (or they are already touring Europe) and it is great that they will do this journey for us, will tour here thanks to OEF and that they will do something to unite our scene a little bit again!!! I do not get how someone can at all divide our scene in a sectarian manner trying to say this yes and this no...it is terribly depressing...it resembles so called normal world but I think our metal, hardcore, grindcore, gore grind, thrash, death metal, power violence, fast core, crust environment is much different, tolerant, a great environment we feel well in and it is surely a big extra. Without exagerration and sentiment I do not see many more pleasant communities than the one of ours!!! Yet, let us speak about Obscene Extreme 2017. What am I looking forward to this year? I am mentioning the vibe always and everywhere, but without it OEF would not just be OEF! The support of bands at 10 in the morning or at 3 in the night for instance is something incredible and I thank you very much for that! All the frolicking, stage diving, the boiling hot moshpit...it is just something even such an experienced underground fighter as Tom Angelripper was totally amazed by!!! I personally will try to set my OEF record and see and enjoy as many bands as possible... I am extremely looking forward to the first riff from S.O.B. I reckon the Battlefield will crash down, won`t it? INFEST will trample it down here, DISCHARGE will for sure deliver the best possible d beat, classical thrashing will be brought by NUCLEAR ASSAULT in a very special set with Nick Barker on drums. Who could miss this? Not me! And let us go further. The Canadians from RAZOR will debut in the Czech Republic and what I have had the chance to see accross the big pond promises a lot!!! WOLFBRIGADE have released just an incredible album I keep listening to over and over and in my opinion it will sound live even better!!! After years and years mega brutal BRODEQUIN is going to return to us with an exclusive load, VIOLATOR from Brazil will also undertake a long journey to Trutnov just because of you and I can guarantee you these rabid thrashers will do mosh!!! I am going to be there for the masked GHOUL who are well-known for their live shows!!! I cannot miss the return of my Brazilian friends and big fans of OEF from RATOS DE PORAO either!!! S.D.I, Megamosh, S.D.I., I will shout on Wednesday and will surely give a chance to HOLY MOSES with the inexhaustible Sabina Classen!!! TOTAL CHAOS will feed me in a punk manner, SYSTEMATIC DEATH will smash me in a hardcore way!!! I am very much looking forward to FULL OF HELL and as I have heard the feeling is mutual!!! The new album of FOH has totally blown me away!!! Another Czech debut will be there for DARKNESS from Germany where I must be as well!! I will also check out PSYCHONEUROSIS, certainly SEE YOU IN HELL, the Mexican grind legends
of ANARCHUS (they played at the Mexican OEF and it was brilliant!!!), crushing THE ARSON PROJECT from the promised land of Sweden, Colombian brutalists of ANIMALS KILLING PEOPLE and of course I cannot skip the new band of Jaro (ex DEAD INFECTION) MEAT SPREADER, the recordings sound great and I have high hopes of them!!! And what about the Spanish grind legend EL KASO URKIJO or the returnees of CREATIVE WASTE from Arabia. And I have forgotten VICTIMS or WORMED...Damn, enough! There are many more...MYTERI, the classics of CRUDE S.S., CYTOTOXIN... and I can go on like this for a long time!!! Enjoy OEF at the maximum so that I still like it that much!!! We have been preparing OEF 2018 and believe it or not the 20th anniversary is round the corner. Payments in European currency Euro: Of course you can make all payments in our national currency Czech koruna. If we can advise, do not exchange bigger amounts in Prague at the airport or in banks. It is just the worst deal you can do. Better to use private exchange offices in the town centers or you can simply pay directly in euro currency at OEF…. euro has slightly weakened against Czech koruna since last year (the interventions of the Czech national bank have finished) resulting in everything being several tens of euro cents more expensive….we do keep trying to have a fair price for everything around OEF but the fall of euro has to be calculated in the prices unfortunately. WEDNESDAY 5TH, 2017 14:00 - 18:00 FREAK FESTIVAL Annual competition for the sturdiest and most indestructible of you will test you in field of extreme gastronomy. Alongside of discipline of kings, drinking of hot, salty water with time measure we will punish your tongue (or tongues for bodmod friends) with bitterness and you will be alowed to finish your gut annihilation with some Capsaicin specials. To get ready before the OEF starts, you dont only need to fill up your belly but also move a bit. Racing in container is scientificaly proven best way of stretching before spending uncountable hours and days in moshpit. 20.00 - 20.40 EVIL INVADERS (belgium)
The Wednesday’s OEF SPEED MANIA fest will introduce you the new blood, EVIL INVADERS from Belgium. Although very young yet very ferocious band estabilished in 2013, many shows and tours almost all over the whole world or signed under well-known Napalm Records. Their debut album called „Pulses of Pleasure“ released in 2015 made it also into the Belgian charts staying there for several weeks as the first speed/thrash metal band from Belgium. EVIL INVADERS are youngsters, but they will put us back into the time when metal was THE METAL. Bloody great live band, full of energy and aggression, this is EVIL INVADERS!!!
20.50 - 21.50 S.D.I. (germany) Anyone not to know them? …S.D.I. from Osnabrück, Germany are the European legends of speed metal. Famous pieces like „Sign of the Wicked“, „Mistreated“ or their megahit „Megamosh“ are there on the necks of their guitars and they will come to slaughter you as one of the bands for the Wednesday’s OEF SPEED MANIA FEST program. The band existing since 1986 has gone through ups and downs, but their comeback in 2014 is still there and shows the band in full strength and it is obvious these 50 year old chaps still like what they are doing. They will prove it and show you this fire on the OEF stage!!! Be prepared for S.D.I.!!! MEGAFUCKINGMOSH!!!
22.00 - 23.00 HOLY MOSES (GERMANY) We believe there is no need to introduce this band much. The headliner of the Wednesday OEF SPEED MANIA FEST 2017 is here. Fronted by the queen of thrash metal, Sabina Classen. Yes, the German thrashers HOLY MOSES!!! One of the major bands of European thrash metal existing since 1980. They made many, many very essential albums for the European metal music. Let us think of „The New Machine of Lichtenstein“ or „Terminal Terror“ for instance released around the turn of 80´s and 90´s. Yet, their latest album „Redefined Mayhem“ from 2014 shows the band with renewed strength and a new line-up, still fronted by an energetic and still beautiful Sabina Classen with a dynamite in her throat. thursday 6th, 2017 12.00 - 12.20 MASTER BLASTER (NEW ZEALAND) Traditionally, fucking angry harcore punk belongs for sure to the extreme music styles at OBSCENE EXTREME. That is why we have chosen an antipodean, new but absolutely rad quartet MASTER BLASTER for you. Started just in 2015 releasing their first demo „ You Suck“ followed by a couple of EP´s with „Doomsdays“ EP being an unbelievably intensive and great recording that tops everything else. MASTER BLASTER are also very active live band. They toured all around New Zealand, the whole Australian continent, the UK and Europe and played with the bands like Discharge, SNFU, English Dogs or GBH. This summer they will release a new EP titled „Pass Out“, will tour Europe and we are excited to welcome them on the boards of OEF 2017!!! We keep the banner of hardcore punk high!!!
12.30 - 12.50 DEAD ROOT (AUSTRALIA) Hmmm. Fresh, young and most importantly a very fast grind blood from Australia? We of course cannot miss that. And together with us also those of you who look forward to be there at Obscene Extreme Festival in 2017. DEAD ROOT. Their rough and fast production gets penetrated by some sand now and then though and the gear gets stuck in sludge waters but it is just a pleasant change that does not diminish the overall great impression. The line-up consists of ex-members of such bands like Vicious Circle, Drain Life or Loser Denial. Grind sludge!!!
13.00 - 13.20 SECTESY (CZECH REPUBLIC) Pathologically lazy and stubborn reactionary barrage of disgusting music. This band gurgles by synonyms of graceful rotting past, which is combined with corrosive greed “to be mothballed” in what is unconcealed despised. In another words, old school death metal from Kolín for all the old school people everywhere.
13.30 - 13.50 ANAL GRIND (BELARUS) Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends, make your dance dresses ready as these Belarusian lovers of „backdoor“ are going to dance away all both alive and dead. This gore grind gang that has been travelling the faecal waters for more than ten years has gone through an essential change in their line-up – three perverts became five. All of them with a drool in the corner of their mouths and an eagerness to spread libido to all the corners of the Battlefield with their disco songs!!!
14.00 - 14.25 BACTEREMIA (COLUMBIA) When a band is hibernating it does not necessarily mean the album being prepared must be an explicit shit. The massacre from Colombia called BACTEREMIA is coming to slaughter you and show what a good stuff they have cooked for the new release. As the growler Sebastián Guarín (ex PURULENT, AMPUTATED GENITALS ...) takes care of the cesspool vapours for sure there will be a lot of entertainment. No surprise Permeated Records will not let them leave their stable. The fans of brutal death metal have a lot to look for at the next volume of OEF!!!
14.35 - 15.00 MOOM (ISRAEL) Obscene Extreme Festival has been discovering young and promising squads for you since some time. This band is no exception either. Awesome, forceful power violence/sludge from Israel who called themselves MOOM. They have two singles and an European tour that took place last year in summer under their belt. Grind blasts mixing with sludge passages and all this seasoned by female, harsh screams. This band will decidedly not lose on the Trutnov stage!!!
15.10 - 15.35 SADISM (CHILE) Latin-American cult band SADISM at OEF 2017!!! The band was established as early as in 1988 and together with their buddies from Pentagram Chile they are the pioneers of extreme metal in Chile. Old school death metal is what these guys swear on and the list of their recordings indicates how very active they still are. Finally they arrive to Europe for the first time and directly to OEF 2017. We all can look forward to see and hear their sadistic death metal. SADISM from Chile advancing!!! 15.45 - 16.10 NOWYOUREFUCKED (AUSTRALIA) Only the real diehards may know this Tasmanian–Australian demolition quartet NowyourefuckeD. However, the performance of these gentlemen is unbelievably violent grind core in best tradition of the Australian bands like Warsore and others. Established in 2008 they have already toured in Europe and Indonesia and released of course several demos and singles. Fronted by an insane Samora Squid some of you will recognize as the guy who did a totally obscene freakshow at OEF 2015. Let us see what this grinding squad will show us at OEF 2017. Definitely something absolutely insane.
16.20 - 16.45 ANIMALS KILLING PEOPLE (colombia) Do you feel like ready for crazy brutal balls to the wall death grind? Do you also remember the iconic clip of ANIMALS KILLING PEOPLE in the yard full of pigs? Have you got it? Animal rights activists heading our way with a new, totally sick album! It has been high time, right? We look forward to our own OEF deviant parody in the red Trutnov mud!!!
16.55 - 17.25 CREATIVE WASTE (SAUDI ARABIA) Let us make a bet. Who of you can remember the only Saudi Arabian band that has ever performed at the Obscene Extreme Festival? ………. Getting warmer? 2012? Still nothing? CREATIVE WASTE are back! With a new line-up, reinforced with two new members and supported by their new album that should be released this year, they are ready to crush your bones with their uncompromising grind core. This is the true exotica, this is what connects us in the UG scene. Grind knows no boundaries! At OEF 2017!!!
Scruff / HELLBASTARD HELLBASTARD played OEF in July 2016. The festival is easily on a par with other festivals around the world such as Hellfest, Glastonbury, MDF, Bloodstock Open Air etc in terms of organisation and a professional attitude. Arriving at OBSCENE EXTREME you are immediately greeted with CONCERT STAFF that are pleasant and treat you LIKE A HUMAN and not a NUMBER, HELLBASTARD have played large fests in the past where, if you don’t all arrive at once you are immediately villified and made to hang around OUTSIDE the fest until people are ‘verified’ and checked, and the checked again and double-checked. Annoying after a long drive from an airport to say the least. OBSCENE EXTREME wasn’t like this at all. The staff are helpful and you’re made to feel WELCOME, it’s a nice feeling that I have to mention here. Great and friendly people deal with everything from catering to stage sound. The patience of Curby in all aspects of OEF is second to none. Any band that is asked to play at such a prestigious and well organised festival like this is in for a huge treat. Organisation is 10/10. Maybe 50 out of 10, to be honest.... And the man that makes it all worth while (CURBY) should win a medal or two. IN CURBY WE CRUST ....... Hellbastard SALUTES you all at Obscene,.... Probably the best festival HELLBASTARD have ever played in its long career....”
17.35 - 18.05 DEAD INFECTION (poland) Cyjan (DEAD INFECTION): “We’re happy that we can come again to play at the OEF 2017, and to show our true face. I’d like to apologize our all fans for my indisposition during performance at OEF 2016 caused personal-health problems. We promise to come back twice as strong! Thanx to everybody who believe in us.” We could slightly alter last year’s band info and nobody would probably know but in this case it is not appropriate. So, dear gore/grind maniacs and fans of the Obscene Extreme Festival be informed that DEAD INFECTION are one of the first confirmed bands for 2017! After this year’s collapse of the drummer this gore/grind legend from Poland will be 100% ready to cut everything within several tens of meters from the stage at Trutnov Battlefield to pieces! DEAD INFECTION at OEF 2017!!! 18.15 - 18.45 FULL OF HELL (USA) Chaotic, filthy and brutal!! FULL OF HELL have the potential to smash you to pieces totally with their live show. They still can be considered a fairly young band that has however managed a lot since their formation in 2009. It is not by chance that these guys have signed under A389 Recordings. This label has a good nose for talented bands. Hardcore/ grind massacre in the vein of Nails, All Pigs Must Die or Dead In The Dirt. FULL OF HELL will blow your brains out of your skull at Obscene Extreme Festival 2017!!!
18.55 - 19.30 TOTAL CHAOS (USA) A red-hot piece of news for all the crazy fans of punk and hardcore. We can proudly announce a band at OEF 2017 that has been holding the flag of American punk/hardcore high since 1989 and it’s TOTAL CHAOS from California. An extraordinary band that has never changed its sound and style since their first demo „Punk Invasion“ and which is very well-known thanx to their intensive gigging alongside big bands of the style like The Exploited, Sham 69 or Conflict amongst others. Till today they have made 9 full-length albums full of energy and punk legacy. At OEF 2017 they will surely show us their raw punk drive with the flag of revolution pretty high in the air!!! TOTAL CHAOS!!!
19.40 - 20.25 BRODEQUIN (USA) Once a longtime drummer Jon announced his departure lately being substituted by a young Dutch Jan Lugtenburg the world of brutality has come back to life hoping to see this massacre in full strength. Some other line-up changes have been done behind the strings. Jamie`s brother Mike has taken a rest and his place is being warmed up by a talented guitar player from Embodied Torment Joaquin Chavez. What a promising line-up, isn’t it? History of tormenting practice transformed into music is calling the fans of extreme death metal to their own execution!!! We are fucking looking forward to that, are you?
20.35 - 21.20 GHOUL (USA) We have a real highlight for you!!! The American masked quartet GHOUL presenting crossover between thrash and death metal with an incredible portion of musical dexterity. Gentlemen named Digestor, Fermentor, Cremator and Dissector really know how to deliver a show and we had no doubts to bring them to this year OEF after seeing some of their totally crazy and intensive shows in the USA. GHOUL started in 2001 and made five full-length albums so far which got great reviews and responses all around the world. However, then band’s real power rests on their live shows they have done tons of all around the world and you will be convinced about that by GHOUL on the OEF stage!!! Bring along some masks!!! GHOUL are coming!!! 21.30 - 22.15 KRISIUN (BRAzIL) A group of three brothers from Brazilian rainforests have been striking the iron uncompromisingly since 28 years. Their passion is death metal, their inspiration is their fans. To get the most out of themselves is as natural as breathing for them. Trust in them and they will show you a pure Armageddon!!!
22.25 - 23.15 RATOS DE PORãO (BRAzIL) This band is one of the big names in the international hardcore/punk scene without further discussions. RATOS DE PORAO are again (for the 3rd time already!) coming back on the stage of the Obscene Extreme Festival. This Brazilian legend will be celebrating their 36th anniversary this year. As is usual they have gone through several periods and style changes to return to their hardcore/punk roots in the new millennium in the end, their latest album from 2014 titled „Século Sinistro“ being the proof. Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome one of the last bands of this year OEF 2017 line-up - RATOS DE PORAO!

This band get along with just a simple statement in the form of DISCHARGE => wikipedia. The fathers of d-beat, one of the fathers of punk with a political message, a band the whole crust / punk world acknowledges and tries to imitate. Formed in 1977 and still in excellent form! And what is more even sharper and more uncompromising with a new singer! FRIDAY 7TH, 2017 10.00 - 10.20 KAOSQUAD (CZECH REPUBLIC) Ladies and gentlemen, this time you are listening to South Bohemia!!! KAOSQUAD is one of many represantatives of this fertile scene who have chosen oldschool grindcore to be their style. Estabilished in 2009 when Kozel (now also Lahar) and Viťan, who worked as a two-man project spreading rotten melodies under the name Pyosemia at that time, called the drummer Aleš (ex-Grex, Mururoa) if he could join them on drums. Joint rehearsals went very well and KAOSQUAD saw the light of day. Their first live show took place in 2010 kick-starting the band to keep playing which led to further shows in CZ and abroad with the bands like Agathocles, Holocausto Cannibal or Wormrot. KAOSQUAD have just released a brand new 7“EP called „Institute for Mental Decay“ and we are happy to welcome them at OEF 2017 stage to provide us a proper portion of oldschool grindcore!!!

We enjoyed playing our music, and at the same time we enjoyed the festival also as one of audience. Music, people, land, food, pivo... Everything was fun and we saw many smiles on everybody’s face there, and smile on our faces all the time too. We feel happy that we could live in the same era with OEF. If you like loud music or if you are interested in loud music, you need to visit OEF at least once in your life!
10.30 - 10.50 SHITFUCKINGSHIT (italy) This bizarre trio from Italy called SHITFUCKINGSHIT presents really an insane mixture of the most extreme musical styles like grind core, gore death and Italian 80´s hardcore. It started just as a one man noise core project and in the course of time it evolved into a trio of maniacs who fucking bomb it. So be prepared…these three Italian shit – heads will deliver a really brutal portion of musical violence to OEF!!!
11.00 - 11.25 BLACKMAIL (hungary) High quality d-beat / crust is produced also in countries you would not expect that of. BLACKMAIL is a young and promising group of crusters from Budapest whose members have gone through such bands like Human Error. As for music BLACKMAIL have been influenced by Scandinavian käng scene. That is why you can look forward to a sharp combination of Anti-Cimex / Crude SS with a metal touch á la Skitsystem or Wolfbrigade at the upcoming volume of Obscene Extreme Festival 2017. Again we have here a classical crust production for all the fans of loud bands!!!
11.35 - 12.00 PSYKOANALYYSI (FINLAND)
The band describe themselves as a masked terrorist hardcore trio from Finland producing vitutus (look it up) hardcore and hailing from an unknown, secret place in the middle of Finland. As for their music it is a mix of old Finnish raw punk squads like Kaaos, Riistetyt, Totuus with grind passages. This means the best for regular visitors as for both dancing and listening. Decidedly, PSYKOANALYYSI will be both a great musical and visual contribution to the upcoming Obscene Extreme Festival in 2017!!!
12.10 - 12.35 NO GOD RHETORIC (czech republic) NO GOD RHETORIC is finally and after a long time a band from Brno which was able to mix powerviolence and grindcore both perfectly and in an ideal ratio. Like when you’re mixing absinth with water (or vodka?). You will never forget. When I first saw them at a gig I felt the energy very similar to that from my favorite band The Dillinger Escape Plan. Their music goes towards fastcore and grindcore waters and I feel they have been influenced by bands like Chiens, Lycanthrophy, Magrudergrind or The Afternoon gentlemen whose song Grind in the mind they covered excellently. There are fast, heavy and uncompromising parts in the songs of NO GOD RHETORIC and also their music is full of breaks, changes of tempo, effective stop and go parts and some “mosh circle pit passages” for the mosh suicide kids can be found too. All in all the 16-minute set will devastate you and hammer you down into the ground where the
zombie grindcore worms will devour you.
Tom Angelripper / SODOM Last year we performed with SODOM at OEF for the first time. And what can we say? That was a great and pure fucking metal experience. The atmosphere was awesome; the whole organization was professional and familiar. We enjoyed every minute. The crowd was amazing. We never saw so much enthusiastic and authentic headbangers like these before at any gigs in Europe. It was like travelling in a time machine… going back the the gloryful 80th. Hope we will return, would be a great honour to us, because you guys know exactly how to celebrate real heavy metal and that is the reason we are living for. See ya soon
12.45 - 13.10 TERROR REVOLUCIONÁRIO (BRASIL) Of course there will be place for Brazilian bands in the line-up for 2017. What would Obscene Extreme Festival be without this unique unrestrained underground scene? The chance to show their energetic grind with punk explosions will be given to TERROR REVOLUCIONÁRIO. This Brazilian squad has been founded already in 1999. We can obviously look forward to a show full of energy. Fans of Ratos De Porao, Forca Macabra, Rot or Besthoven will for sure be satisfied!!! 13.20 - 13.45 GOD’S AMERICA (USA) Power violence lives and not that it doesn’t! This band did shatter the pv/grind scene with their album titled „Merge With The Infinite Now“ that was released at Deep Six / Regurgitated Semen Records last year. Short, a minute-long blasts full of stops and changes of tempo. Sludge passages alternating with a few seconds long grind passages. If you like No Comment/Crossed Out, you will for sure be enthused about GOD’S AMERICA’s live performance at this year Obscene Extreme Festival, simple as that!!!
13.55 - 14.20 SLAVEBREED (GREECE) In this case the speed really prevails. Absolute grind core with a small touch of crust and hardcore, this is SLAVEBREED, a quintet from Athens, Greece. They have been grinding their core for more than 10 years and certainly they are one of the leaders of the European grind core scene. The guys have recorded great albums like „Pain Syndicate“ or „Dethrone the Architect“ and of course they are a very active live band who have toured around Europe several times. And we are happy to welcome them again on the boards of OEF 2017!!! 14.30 - 14.55 RAZORRAPE (SWEDEN) RAZORRAPE was estabilished as a one-man project by Martin Schönherr, ex-drummer of the bands like Deranged, Splattered Mermaids or Virgin Sin, in 2004. RAZORAPE is quite unusually a gore/grind band hailing from the European cradle of traditional death metal known as Sweden. The guys added the line-up in 2006 putting out several recordings in different formats together with the wellknown Rotten Roll Rex label. Nowaydays as trio they have managed to tour all around Europe and even Mexico where they had a proper tour. We gonna see them at the OEF stage a second time. RAZORRAPE, it´s gore and sodomy in the Swedish style!!!
15.05 - 15.30 DEATHTOPIA (japan) The music in the best tradition of Gore Metal, strongly influenced by genre classics like Carcass or Exhumed. Oh yes, it’s DEATHTOPIA, a band with an international line-up, established by the guitarist and singer Mune in 2010 in Osaka, Japan. Band’s first three-piece line-up recorded two full-length albums and played several tours around Asia and Europe. In 2016 Mune changed the line-up and now an international four-piece band will come to OEF 2017 to show us Gore Metal in its pure form. A real symphony of a necro gore massacre!!! 15.40 - 16.10 PSYCHONEUROSIS (POLAND) Here we have another comeback in the grindcore family. The Polish band PSYCHONEUROSIS that had a very active period between 1991 and 2001 when they played many shows and did even more recordings disbanded due to their professional responsibilities. No one has ever thought the boys would get together again, but the messages are clear. They are back again in 2016. One of the oldest Polish grindcore names and we are happy to invite them to the OEF 2017 stage!!!
16.20 - 16.50 INFERIA (FINLAND) The Finnish grindcore veterans INFERIA will be back at the OEF’s stage after many years. Established as early as in 1989 and still loyal to their grindcore roots such as early Napalm Death mixed with a huge dose of extreme hardcore and death metal. So far their latest album „Fistament“ released to celebrate the band´s 25th anniversary is killing totally by its sound and intensity. Live they fucking punch, experienced by hundreds of shows all around the globe. And back at OEF 2017!!! They will grind you down!!! 17.00 - 17.35 MEAT SPREADER (poland) Many of you have surely asked for many years what the famous ex-singer of Dead Infection, Jaro does. Now we can answer he has been planning and realizing another gore grind act named MEAT SPREADER!!! Of course as always with his inextricable long-time mate Tocha. They called the most competent grinders such as Artur from Squash Bowels (R.I.P) and Radek from The Dead Goats/Bialystok. These veterans of extreme scene will deliver gore grind of the best tradition and highest quality right on the OEF stage. The gentlemen have just released their first effort in MCD format called „Excessive Consumption of Human Flesh“ on Japanese Obliteration Records and they will for sure introduce it to us at OEF. Be ready for a slaughter, MEAT SPREADER!!!
17.45 - 18.20 ANARCHUS (MEXICO) ANARCHUS are a star of grindcore scene in South America. Founded as long ago as in 1987 and still unexhaustibly tormenting the underground stages with their energetic grindcore pieces. It is not the first contact with OEF for these blokes however. They played at the Mexican version of Obscene Extreme Festival in 2013 meaning they know how to get ready for the insane fans in Trutnov!!!
ISHIYA / DEATH SIDE
When we got the offer to play with DEATH SIDE at the OEF it was a strange feeling because DEATH SIDE is a punk band. You know OEF is more a metal or blast grind fest which is not what DEATH SIDE play, but we were really happy to be there. OEF is a pretty funny and weird type of an extreme fest, but we got impressed. It was our first European tour and OEF was the first European fest!! We were so impressed about this town, Trutnov. We could meet so many people coming from all over the world. This was one of the most impressive things. After our show, lots of people were very friendly to us inviting us for good beer!! Thank you!!! I liked the Czech beer a lot!! In the future, we hope more Japanese good bands to be invited to play on the OEF stage. Thanks once again!!!
18.30 - 19.10 CRUDE S.S. (SWEDEN) You may know the name of this band or you can find their name as one of the most used references of the Swedish hardcore scene in case you want to describe new and unknown bands. The authors of the band infos (us being no exception) help themselves by the usage of a dry comparison as …it sounds like the old good … attention now ….CRUDE S.S.! Yes, exactly like that. This Swedish punk/crust legend will perform live at the approaching volume of Obscene Extreme Festival 2017! Formed 1979, the last concert before their reunion being in 1987. The restart took place in an almost original line-up in 2015. If anybody do not know their iconic single/ recording „Who´ll Survive“, those should put it right quickly! The founding stone of filthy hardcore / punk alongside of such bands like Discharge, Anti-Cimex or Mob 47! Crude S.S.!!!
19.20 - 20.10 WOLFBRIGADE (SWEDEN) Wow! They are back again! Our „again“ does not definitely mean some annoyed moaning but the opposite. We look forward to this band and you do for sure together with us. WOLFBRIGADE. The founding stone of the world hardcore/punk scene. A band blending classical d-beat punk á la Discharge with traditional Swedish old school death metal with the outcome being an explosive musical smash making you wave your fists about and mosh like crazy. These guys know Trutnov Battlefield well and they also know very well what a normal visitor of Obscene Extreme Festival needs – his or her daily dose of Swedish crust!!! 20.20 - 21.10 SYSTEMATIC DEATH (JAPAN) Furious thrashing mad Hardcore from Yokohama City, Japan!! If you thought that we had fired all our bullets bringing on the OEF stage Japanese legends such as S.O.B. and DEATH SIDE we are pleased to break your neck again with another highly legendary speed-obsessed unit from the land of the rising sun: SYSTEMATIC DEATH! These maniacs have been around since 1983 with several devastating albums and singles, they can be considered one of the most classic pioneering bands in the Japanese Hardcore scene, also cited as influence by members of NAPALM DEATH, BRUTAL TRUTH and many other audio terrorists. Expect a sheer dose of rapid, screaming Hardcore channeled through dizzy riffs and short+fast+loud tracks... THRASH TILL DEATH!!!
21.20 - 22.15 VIOLATOR (BRAZIL) Brazilian thrash metal quartet VIOLATOR formed in 2002 belongs to the top acts of the second wave of Brazilian thrash metal influenced by the thrash period of the famous Brazilian act Sepultura amongst others. However, these young boys lead by bass player Pedro kick seriously these old asses!!! After their debut album called Chemical Assault, which was released on the European continent by mighty Earache records, the boys played many shows in their home country as well as around the globe with such bands like Destruction and Malevolent Creation and also at the Japanese festival True Thrash fest in Osaca. After several releases such as split albums and EP´s they released their LP Annihilation Process and also their latest effort Scenarios of Brutality which was recorded, mixed and mastered in the Stage One studio in Germany under the watch of a great producer Andy Classen. VIOLATOR has a very good reputation as an intensive live band, so we can look forward to their extatic, angry and wild thrash rumble drawing on the legacy of the best acts of the turn of the 90`s. VIOLATOR will play just a single exclusive summer show in Europe and it will be at OEF 2017. TOTAL THRASH, VIOLATOR at OEF 2017!!! And they want to see the hell in the moshpit. We`re gonna easily fulfill their wish, right?!!!
22.30 - 23.15 INFEST (USA) The whole generations of hardcorer’s dream about this and I suppose also the fans of other styles who know what that name means. INFEST at Obscene Extreme Festival 2017! The pioneers and founders of the style called „power violence“. A style that has inspired hundreds and maybe thousands of other bands that have been destroying the musical boundaries since two decades. Short, aggressive, fast songs full of changes. Stops that turn into total madness. A charismatic frontman as well who will fucking not trouble with you. The first recording of this band was released as early as in 1987 (formed in 1986!). The beginning of 90’s was branded by a break-up and the end of any activity to rise like a phoenix from the ashes in 2013. Around 2000 they recorded vocals to the recording called „No Man’s Slave“ that was originally recorded without vocals as early as in 1991 during the cult recording session in KXLU radio. Their latest recording for the time being is a single from 2013 titled „Days Turn Black“. Though their discography is quite moderate we dare to say that each recording is literally an elementary jewel or pearl for hardcore / power violence / grind scene. The current line-up are Joe Denunzio (also Neanderthal among others), Jorge Luis Herrera (ACxDC), Chris Dodge (phew … let us start. Spazz, Hellnation, Despise You, Low Threat Profile, Burn Your Bridges, Stikky, Ancient Chinese Secret, Lack Of Interest, To The Point and the founder of the Slap A Ham Records) and the last mate is Matt Domino (Manpig, Low Threat Profile, Neanderthal). These four guys are a living US hardcore history and you will have the unique chance that may never repeat again at the upcoming volume of OEF!!!! 23.30 - 00.45 RAZOR (CANADA) Following many legendary headliners at OEF we can announce a true cult of the cults, the Canadian thrashers of RAZOR!!! Founded in 1983 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. RAZOR have always belonged and still belong to the pioneers of speed and thrash metal styles. Everyone knows their legendary records like Executioner´s Song, Evil Invaders or Violent Restitution as those are the underground thrash metal gems. RAZOR have been around for more than 30 years and still fresh. They have toured with such big names such as Slayer or Motörhead and though the founding and the only original band member Dave Carlo went through a successful cancer treatment in 2012 the band is still ready to kick your arse and drive you wild at the boards of Obscene Extreme!!!
jay SHLAK / EAT THE TURNBUCKLE When I hear words obscene extreme first thing I think of is grind your fucking face off!!?!? and that bondage and sadomasochism party tent, with disco music playing after the bands were finished for the night. Hahaha That about sums up how fucking awesomely insane this fest is. Total controlled chaos in the best way possible, ran like a machine by Curby and his staff. OEF is the best festival I’ve been to bar none. A fuckin insane party till you puke atmosphere with no rules, by a punk as fuck, not give a shit, free will attitude, rabid fan base. Sleep on the ground, get high or stay sober, fuck in the woods, wear a costume or no clothes at all... do what ever the fuck you want!!! If you can’t have a good time at obscene extreme you suckkkkkkkk. You would think after seeing a full band wrestling and beating the shit out of each other to a bloody pulp with weapons, in a ring while playing metal would be the craziest thing you seen all night. Incorrect. We were followed by Selfie the clown. At first his crotch looked like a smooth child’s doll, who was castrated and removed his penis at a previous time......but minutes into his set he pulled the stitches apart, which sewn his balls to his leg revealing his dick hahaha you win this round mr. 00.55 - 01.25 SEE YOU IN HELL (CZECH REPUBLIC) This is the true local hardcore / punk cherry on the cake called Obscene Extreme Festival. A squad from Brno who have now been recovering from a downer they suffered due to the death of Filip Fuchs, the motor not only of the band but of the whole Czech, and also the world DIY scene. It has been long 15 years since their first show in Trutnov! In the meantime a brand new generation of listeners this band can address with their show have grown up! So, everybody be there in July in front of the stage!!!
01.35 - 02.00 MYTERI (SWEDEN) If you currently search for bands to sound similar to Tragedy or From Ashes Rise but without being awkward, whining neo-crust copies at the same time, we just have for you a delicacy from Sweden called MYTERI! This band has risen from the ashes of their previous project called Eskatologia and so far they have a same-titled album under their belt that has literally enchanted the crust/hardcore scene. Gloomy crust/d-beat exactly in the vein of the aforementioned legends mixed with classical Scandinavian, abrasive punk and of course metal. They have been preparing a new album for 2017 titled „Ruiner“ implying loudly they are ready to hack the audience at Obscene Extreme Festival 2017 to pieces!!! 02.10 - 02.30 gomora (CZECH REPUBLIC) They crawled out into the light of day from the underground holes, pubs and bars of Prague´s Žižkov in 2007 and started to rehearse under the name GOMORA. A bunch of local figures who liked filthy crust core style together with punk/metal wildness really knew how to deliver. After several years of existence they are releasing a split LP with Life Possesion or a full-length album titled „Poslední jízda“ and playing shows in both the Czech Republic and also very often abroad. Their latest record „Popel a prach“ was released in 2016 in co-operation of several DIY labels from all around Europe. And we are happy to invite those punks onto the stage of OEF 2017!!! IN CRUST WE BEAT!!!
02.40 - 03.00 CHOKED BY OWN VOMITS (czech republic) One of the last names for OEF 2017 to be announced is the Czech grind attackers called CHOKED BY OWN VOMITS!!!. The boys started the band having a lot of nice lyrics about various ways of secretion in year 2004 and following a demotape, a full-length album and several split releases they have put out their latest effort which is an absolutely grinding opus titled „Shit World“. Many songs in their live set will be definitely taken from this great record. The guys are not any newcomers having played at the OEF stage in 2009 already. We think the time has come to show us their new material live. See you all in the moshpit!!!
saturday 8th, 2017 10.00 - 10.20 BOTTOM (poland) One of the last bands for the OEF 2017 to be announced is a Polish squad called BOTTOM. This sextet swearing on brutal mix of old school grindcore and hardcore with a modern sound was founded already in 1995. Following two demos, two EP´s and two full-length albums they have released a brand new full-length album titled „Psychofilia“ on Deformeathing Production. An interesting thing can be two BOTTOM members are also part of another Polish grindcore act called PSYCHNEUROSIS. Six people, a huge guitar wall, two vocals and a solid rhythm section are a strong foundation of the whole. And all of us will see them at OEF 2017!!! 10.30 - 10.50 NOT! (czech republic) None of you would tell this crazy group celebrated their 20th anniversary this year, wouldn’t you? But it is the truth. Formed in Teplice in 1996! Another interesting detail is their regular debut album was released this year only. After 20 years! Personnel changes have not so far allowed for the band to complete something complex. You as the visitors of the upcoming Obscene Extreme Festival will have to admit it was a pitty as the fest is the place where this spa commando is heading to make you happy with their noisy and varied extreme hardcore/grind production. Let us welcome NOT on the board! Teplice rules!!!
11.00 - 11.25 NUCLEAR DEVASTATION (NETHERLANDs) This live show will be a delicacy for the music experts as NUCLEAR DEVASTATION from Holland grippingly mix their harsh primitive black metal with crust/d-beat and heavy-weight sludge/stoner passages. Blackened crust/thrash. A frenzied ride that will have its place at OEF 2017 and many of you will be pleasantly surprised for certain! For the fans of Martyrdöd, Anti-Cimex, Entombed or Black Breath!!!
11.35 - 12.00 HAGGUS (USA) HAGGUS are a young gore / grind band from Oakland (USA) who openly acknowledge the legacy and the influence by the legendary Agathocles and the Canadian mince core heros of Archagathus. During their short existence (since 2014) they have managed to put out and recored around twenty releases so as for the frequency of releasing everything is alright. And playing live? You will have the chance to experience them at the upcoming volume of Obscene Extreme Festival 2017!!!
12.10 - 12.35 SUCKING LEECH (GERMANY) This grind blast from Germany did not have an easy time throughout their career. Formed in 1998 they disappeared from 2002 to 2012 as if the earth had swallowed them up. It was not the kind of a break when the band does not exist or splits up. 2012 does not mean a reincarnation or comeback at all. The reasons for the pause are simpler but the more serious. The ten years of inactivity were caused by a car crash when two members of SUCKING LEECH spent a long time in a hospital. But enough of history for now. Since that time these grinders are back in a great form, released several albums and managed to play an array of gigs with their more well-known mates of Napalm Death, Pungent Stench etc. And in 2017 finally at OEF 2017!!!
12.45 - 13.10 VISCERA TRAIL (ISRAEL) VISCERA TRAIL, brutal death metal band from Israel, which guarantees a certain dose of exoticness. And we have to say they know to deliver. They describe themselves as the sickest band to ever emerge from the Holy Land to deliver the brutal death metal message to the local scene. However, with no evil faces, but on the contrary with sense of humour and hyperbole. Established in 2002 by guitarist and singer Tomer „Gomez“ Hasenfratz, VISCERA TRAIL have released a demo tape, two full-length albums and an EP. Experienced by many European festivals and several tours in exotic destinations like Nepal etc. we will be glad to welcome them at the OEF 2017!!!
13.20 - 13.45 BLACK SKIES BURN (UNITED KINGDOM) Despite the fact they have existed for 10 years they are still quite new and unknown. BLACK SKIES BURN from Oxfordshire, England have taken a fancy to a brutal noise in a grind death style with DIY ethics. They have managed to support some big names such as Sepultura or Extreme Noise Terror amongst others and to release several DIY recordings. These great guys destroy us by their grind death in the best tradition of the UK bands, so we really have something to look forward to. BLACK SKIES BURN will set the skies on fire at OEF 2017!!!
13.55 - 14.20 EMBOLISM (SLOVAKIA) Today we introduce to you one of the top grind acts from our neighbours from Slovakia, EMBOLISM. The band around the Kotrik´s brothers was established in 1997 and soon after their start they released a demo that greatly describes their „Grind´n´Roll“ sound. Other recordings as splits or two full-length albums followed. The band split up in 2003 to reunite even stronger recording their latest effort called „Devilumination“. And not only with those tunes they will be attacking the OEF 2017!!!
TRAVIS RYAN / CATTLE DECAPITATION When I think of Obscene Extreme, I think of a crazy circus that happens nowhere else on earth in the same way. There’s nothing like OE. Some try, but none have the feeling that this fest exudes. From the extreme and grind only sounds to the vegan food to the crazy antics of the crowd, this is simply a one-of-a-kind, worthy of the trip if you’re coming from overseas. I will always cherish the memory of being taken to the Krishna booth by Curby himself for a meal and stories from past fests. Unmatched. Unparalleled. There’s nothing else like Obscene Extreme.
14.30 - 14.55 SUPPURATION (COLOMBIA) The Colombian freaks of SUPPURATION who like to munch on Christians in their spare time will come to show you their dissecting brutal death gore grind! Musical bestialities full of their melodics will be calling your mortal apparels to dance and you can believe me, it does not pay to refuse…. Recommended by five out of four pathologists!!! 15.05 - 15.30 ROTTENNESS (MEXICO) Intensive, uncompromising death/grind. This kind of music will be delivered for the second time at OEF by Mexican American band called ROTTENNESS. A very active band with its roots in Cancún, Mexico where an underground maniac named Jaleel founded the band as early as in 1994. In 1998 the band released their first EP titled „ Blasphemous Gore Enjoyment“ placing them on an underground map. 15.40 - 16.05 CYTOTOXIN (germany) Turning the world upside down with their 2nd album and Unique Leader could just rub their hands. They are back in full strength to our and your great joy after some line-up problems with their typical catchy and refined brutal style and inimitably deviant and solidly wild Grim’s growling! Whether from a CD or live CYTOTOXIN will not let your limbs complete! Infection by properly radioactive, technical and brutal death metal inevitable!!! 16.15 - 16.45 EL KASO URKIJO (SPAIN) They were one of the first, actually the first band in Spain who released grindcore on vinyl. Extreme music survivors know for sure that it’s the grindcore combo EL KASO URKIJO. Established in 1987 as EL KASO at that time to be renamed the very next year to their final name EL KASO URKIJO after the murders of Spanish marquis and marquess named Urkijo. The band have many demotapes, split releases and five full-length albums, always full of noisy, coarse grindcore. This year for the first time at the OEF’s boards!!! This is original grindcore!!! EL KASO URKIJO!!!
CHRIS / DEVOURMENT Obscene Extreme is total bedlam and apocalyptic insanity, yet it is one of the most well-run, well-curated, and heart-filled festivals -- not just for grind/death metal/punk/etc. but extreme performances of a variety of sorts. 2016 was my first time to experience it. I went to each day last year and had my fuckin’ mind blown every night. I discovered killer bands from all over the globe, watched some of my favorite groups (some of whom were quite rare to get to see), hung out with wonderful freaks, and witnessed a lot of chaos! The all-night parties to the greatest pop hits of the ‘90s and early ‘00s might have been the best part, though.
16.55 - 17.30 THE ARSON PROJECT (SWEDEN) The grind core blast of THE ARSON PROJECT from Malmö, Sweden who do not loathe other styles like hardcore or punk will perform again on the stage of the Obscene Extreme Festival after long ten years. What has changed with this squad since? It could be summarized in a single sentence – basically nothing revolutionary has happened. What is going to happen is more important, though! And yes, it is true. Their debut album titled „Disgust“ whose substantial part will also resound in Trutnov will be released in February after 12 long years of existence. All the fans of bands like Cursed, Dead In The Dirt, Nails, Trap Them – get ready for a carnage!!!
17.40 - 18.15 PURTENANCE (FINLAND) Finnish PURTENANCE are one of Death Metal pioneers in the finnish scene since their inception in 1989. Their debut album “Member of Immortal Damnation” is actually considered a milestone within the heaviest and most brutal Death Metal releases coming out from that country. After 20 years of silence, the band returned in 2012 releasing an EP and two albums getting back the recognition they never lost and despite of having played only one show abroad (Spain 2013), it is now with their new line up, when they’re decided to conquer the old continent and one of the best scenarios to do it is the mighty OEF!! PURTENANCE is definitely carrying the flag of the most honest, classic and heaviest Death Metal the way it was meant to be!!! 18.25 - 19.05 AHUMADO GRANUJO (CZECH REPUBLIC) This, presently, very well-known band was formed in 1999 as nothing but a funny project with a totally crazy mix of gore grind and techno and with obscene live shows. Today they can be considered one of the Czech leaders of gore grind scene. Although still a project they have done countless shows and tours all around the world with a lot of success. Two full-length albums and many split releases under their belt. It’s quite rare to see them live in the last few years because their members are busy with other bands like M.A.C. OF MAD, HEAVING EARTH, KING KEPORKAK, CULT OF FIRE and others. So we are happy to welcome AHUMADO GRANUJO again on the boards of Obscene Extreme Festival after a long time!!! They will grind you to ashes!!!
19.15 - 20.00 DARKNESS (GERMANY) Thrash till Death!!! The thrash metal legend of DARKNESS from Germany who wrapped it up in 1993 having recorded two great albums „Death Squad“ and „Defenders Of Justice“ by that time have recently restarted with two original members in the line-up and recorded a new rough thrash metal album titled „The Gasoline Solution“ after more than 25 years since the last one. The album has just been released (October 2016) and the fans of this band or of the style can keep calm. Nothing new or very turbulent has happened. DARKNESS have still been pounding out sharp and uncompromising thrash metal. They have not softened. You will have the chance to convince yourselves of this fact live at Obscene Extreme Festival 2017!!!
20.10 - 20.50 STORMTROOPERS OF BEER (USA) An absolute BLAST!!! All of us know of course the metal legend, Danny Lilker, and all his bands and projects. He has graced Trutnov Battlefield with his presence a few times but this year it will for certain be very much special. Danny got together with great mates from General Surgery, Adde and Jocke and the singer Kenneth and the band STORMTROOPERS OF BEER or S.O.B. has seen the light of day. As you may guess correctly it is about a cover of the legendary S.O.D. with an original member in the line-up!!! This year their essential album „Speak English or Die“ has its unbeliavable 30th anniversary and this will be their SOLE show in Europe in 2017. And so it´s quite possible the first riff of the „March of the S.O.D.“ will make the Battlefield in Trutnov collapse!!!
21.05 - 22.00 SINISTER (NETHERLAND) Their logo still shines in the bible of death metal very brightly and their most iconic album „Hate“ has commenced the second generation. Despite the fact the line-up changes as often as the typical Dutch weather, Aad, the crucial root, holds the course of the band tightly in his hands. Though the trickels of their sweat have fallen down several times on the boards of OEF be assured the guys still have a lot to show! Clear as crystal, sharp as a razor, this is SINISTER!!! 22.15 - 23.15 NUCLEAR ASSAULT (USA) Danny Lilker : “Greetings freaks!! Nuclear Assault is very proud to say that we will be appearing at Obscene Extreme 2017! Some of you may say “Wait! I thought that the last Nuclear Assault European performance was at Eindhoven Metal Meeting in December 2015!” You were right, we did say this. But when my old friend Curby asked if it was possible for us to play this year, we could not resist this opportunity as I love his festival. We want to thank Roman from Eindhoven Metal Meeting for being super cool about this! Also, we will have Nick Barker on drums for this show, so this makes show different in a way anyway since we had original drummer Glenn Evans at EMM. See you guys in July!!!” A big, big surprise and probably on one the biggest band in the OEF history and a real legend of the thrash metal genre. Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to announce the headliner of the Obscene Extreme Festival 2017, the American crossover/thrash mayhem, NUCLEAR ASSAULT. All of us know, of course, the band started after Danny Lilker’s departure from nowadays world-famous Anthrax in 1984. Danny joined forces with another ex-member of Anthrax John Connelly on guitar and vocals as both of them wanted
to play way more agressively than in their old band. After a few demotapes and a multirecord contract with Combat Records they had a solid line-up with Danny to torment four strings, John six and throat and two new members Anthony Bramante on guitar and Glen Evans on drums. Their albums like Game Over, Survive or Handle With Care are the gems of the genre and got the band an endless tour over the whole world with such bands like Agent Steel, Dark Angel, Testament or Exodus. NUKE went also through many break-ups and reunions and so far their latest big album „Third World Genocide“ is from 2005. Some of you surely know that the last European NUKE’s show was supposed to take place in Holland in December 2015, but as we all know Danny loves the atmosphere of Obscene Extreme Festival where he played for instance with Brutal Truth and other projects, so when we called him, he did not hesitate for long and confirmed, most probably, the very last NUKE’s show on the European continent. Not only because of this but especially NUKE´s thrash/crossover raging music is the invitation for you to make a brutal moshpit under the OEF stage!!! HANG THE POPE!!!
23.25 - 00.15 VICTIMS (SWEDEN) OK, ok. It has to be repeated again. What would Obscene Extreme Festival be without a proper portion of crust? Actually, a proper portion of Swedish crust? One of the most respected crust hardcore bands hailing from Nyköping, Sweden, a band we can put next to such squads like Wolfbrigade/Wolfpack, Skitsystem, Martyrdöd, Tragedy, From Ashes Rise or Disfear. One of the synonyms for this style. Ladies and gentlemen, the mighty VICTIMS to perform at OEF 2017! Their latest album „Sirens“ released at Tankcrimes Records surprised by its rawness and the return to the roots. There is definitely a lot to look forward to!!!
00.25 - 01.10 WORMED (SPAIN) No one can perform that better than just WORMED! You will completely feel dizzy after their set. Their lyrics will transfer you in a space Matrix, so it is better to have a sufficient oxygen supply at hand! Brutal death full of changes with an unbelievable growling and an awesome show. It will not be simple at all to get WORMED out of your head. That is why … be ready!!! 01.20 - 01.50 WOJCZECH (GERMANY) Though it may not seem so this band has travelled almost the whole world criss-cross with their grind core noise vehicle since their formation. Well, not almost… WOJCZECH did travel the whole world. Since their start in 1995 they were actually on a non-stop tour until 2005. They have recorded and released an array of split 7“ and split cassettes in that time and as late as in 2005 they were finally rewarded by a debut album „Sedimente“. They have dropped travelling the world a bit since but concentrated on recording all the more. No doubt this was the correct tactics. So you will have the possibility to listen live to high quality load of fierce grind core at Obscene Extreme Festival 2017! WOJCZECH!!!
02.00 - 02.25 HARD CHARGER (CANADA) There is a tradition at OEF in the last few years that a representative of dirty, heavy rock’n’roll cannot be missing. A Canadian trio called HARD CHARGER playing forceful, hard and truly dirty rock’n’roll with a touch of punk and metal will deliver a good deal of it onto the boards that mean the world, onto the OEF stage!!! HARD CHARGER have been around for more than 10 years and besides being constantly on the road around the whole world they have also several studio recordings under their belt and with „Bad Omens“ being their latest one they will come to ruin the Battlefield. The trio of The Yeti, The Wolf and The Hammer know for sure how it is done!!! The ace of spades at OEF 2017!!!
02.35 - 03.00 MEATKNIFE (GERMANY) Gore Death metal masters from Germany are returning to the OEF 2017 stage. The band was established in 1995 playing in the best tradition of slam/gore/groove musick. Following several releases they disbanded to return after five years of hibernation. The two original members Matze and Krüger made the band strong again finding the remaining two members Tob and Mario and the result of their production is their latest effort called „Pimple with Pus“. Great mixture of Gore and Death metal which will surely please every sicko out there. And we are happy to welcome them at Obscene Extreme Festival after long 14 years!!!

KARL WILLETTS / MEMORIAM The most chilled out, craziest festival on the planet!!!!! Curby, the promoter of OEF was the first person to get in touch with MEMORIAM back in early 2016. This was before we had released anything to the public, he totally believed in what we were doing and offered us to play OEF 2016 even before he had heard a note of our music! This was an amazing opportunity for us to have as our first ever live performance. His confidence us helped give us that push to become the band we are today. It was a fantastic show and we had a great time. We a had a great time at OEF, we arrived early and sat in the sunshine drinking beer for several hours before we went onstage for our debut performance. The atmosphere was just so chilled out and relaxed it was amazing, i remember seeing some crazy bands playing that day! The band on before us was Warwound our friends from the UK, they arrived at the festival site about 30 minutes before they were due to go on stage after a long drive from Brussels airport. The airline had managed to lose virtually all of their equipment. It was amazing how all the bands got together and managed to get the equipment that the band needed to play. the spirit and comradarie was amazing. Later that evening after we had played our set and i had managed to consume rather a lot of Russian Vodka, I fell asleep under a tree backstage - i named the tree Malcolm, and Malcolm looked after me while i slept! i was awoken by Scruff from Hellbastard along with 2 lovely ladies that he had with him and they kindly picked me up and ushered me back to the van waiting to take the band back to the hotel. Trutnov was a great town and we had fun the following day drinking in the local bars. OEF is a special kind of festival wit a totally unique vibe to it - loved it and feel privileged to say that we played there as our first ever show - looking forward to playing again soon - maybe next year - what do ya say Curby?
