t’s important for kids to stay active in learning, whether during a school year or when the summer brings the opportunity to acquire new skills, friendships and develop new interests. Bay area schools and camps have made adjustments during the pandemic with new protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, protective partitions, sanitizing stations, air ionizing technology and more. The goal is to provide students and campers with safe and enriching educational experiences.

CAMP IDS at Corbett Preparatory School For over two decades, CAMP IDS has been one of Tampa’s most popular summer camp programs. Campers can try their hand at archery or Lego Robotics in the morning and dabble in painting or photography in the afternoon. More than 100 half- and full-day camps ensure everyone has a great time! Camp options include Academics, STEAM, Visual and Performing Arts, Music, Recreation and Sports. Chinese and Spanish Language camps available. Camps run weekly for 6 weeks from June 14 - July 23. Free morning drop-off at 7:15 a.m.. After-care (3 - 6 p.m.) and bus transportation available for a fee. Open to all students entering PreK3 - 8th grade. Camp Terrapin Camp Terrapin is a co-educational sports and fine arts camp for rising 1st - 8th grade students held in the heart of downtown Tampa at Tampa Prep. Structured activities and theme days provide friendship and fun in a positive and safe environment
