Central Parking Area – Brisbane Airport
Airport Masterplanning
Brisbane, Queensland
Meinhardt have been providing consultancy services for the Central Parking Area (CPA) in the Banksia Place Precinct at Brisbane Airport in a series of appointments for over 5 years. BAC’s Airport Masterplan identified that land close to the terminals will be needed for terminal and apron expansion, roads, multi-level car parks, hotels, offices etc as the airport continues to grow. To facilitate these plans, it was necessary to relocate the existing taxi holding, staff, ground transport operation, rental car storage areas and potentially some other uses to another section of the airport to be known as the CPA.
