Port Office Hotel Brisbane, Queensland
Staged Works
The Brisbane Port Office Hotel constructed in 1885 is one of the oldest buildings in Brisbane. The building served as the accommodation for the officials engaged in shipping activities in the original port of Brisbane. The refurbishment was carried out in conjunction with an expansion of the building to include two levels of commercial offices above a new restaurant area. The hotel was totally refurbished whilst retaining much of the original structure and features which were incorporated into the design. The premises house a fine food restaurant wine bar area, dance floors, nightclubs and 2 levels of commercial offices.
