H.C. Drew School of Health and Human Performance The faculty in the H.C. Drew School of Health and Human Performance are committed to preparing our students to become health care professionals who wish to promote healthy habits and physical fitness. We are also preparing teachers and coaches in the areas of health, physical, safety, driver and recreation education. Our programs explore human body function and performance while combining elements of teaching and health curricula.

A Focus on Health Care The pre-physical therapy program is one of several concentrations in the H.C. Drew School of Health and Human Performance. With a focus on the function and performance of the human body, this program prepares you to help patients regain their physical strength and relearn basic bodily movements. Explore a range of topics, including exercise physiology, therapeutic rehabilitation and lower and upper extremity evaluation.

Legacy Center A new, $40 million, 145,000-square-foot facility houses athletics and academics on campus, including volleyball, men's and women's basketball and the H.C. Drew School of Health and Human Performance programs. The Legacy Center also allows McNeese to offer lab settings, internship opportunities and address new requirements for professional schools and careers.
