Transform Your Life!

when I look around, I rarely see people acting like they know they’re going to die, and they don’t know when. It’s just another piece of information in our heads, not something that has traveled deeper into understanding, realization and embodiment in a cellular way. It hasn’t become an actualized day-to-day truth that affects how most of us live, and that’s where it can transform our lives.

Why do you think that is? How do you distract, turn away and avoid thinking about your approaching death? Imagine that these are the very things keeping you from living a vital and awakened life. What if engaging in some preparation for your approaching death is the most powerful, spiritually transformational practice to shake you out of the default, cultural hypnotic sleepwalk we often find ourselves in? How ironic that preparing for your approaching death brings you into more aliveness than you’ve ever experienced!

Why do we hear that people often feel more fully alive sometime after they’ve been given a terminal diagnosis? Why do we often treat our dying friends and family with so much more tenderness and love than before they were dying? What does that say about us? Have you considered the possibility that one day you may be given a terminal diagnosis? Do you plan on dying in Maui? And then what? The current options are being buried in one of the cemeteries, buried in the ocean or cremated (a very poor final carbon footprint). Do you know there is no cemetery in Hawaii where a tree can be planted over a grave? Why don’t we have a natural burial ground? Come by The Death Store on a Saturday and see our vision.
