Translucent necklace
Translucent necklace Material: - translucent clay - oil paint - paper towel Tools: - a pasta machine - a brush - a roll - LC Cutters - smart sets - a blade - a tile - an oven - sand paper (see photos) - round ended studs and two pliers (see photos)
1. Condition your clay and prepare a sheet by passing it through the pasta machine (no 3).
2. Apply a bit of oil paint with a brush on the raw clay.
3. Remove the excess with a paper towel.
4. Add a new sheet of translucent clay on top of the painted sheet.
5. Pass this sandwich through the pasta machine in position 3
6. Use the LC cutters to cut off the beads for your necklace and place them on a tile that may go into the oven, cure them for 30 minutes at the temperature recommended on the pack of clay you have chosen to use for your project. Then sand the beads with care using progressively 600, 800 and 1000 grit sand paper and a bit of water and dish liquid.

7. Make a small hole in each piece, this hole will allow you to attach the pieces together using a round ended stud that you will coil at the back of each bead, as show in the photos.
