I had the opportunity to sit down recently with this very busy actress, who is also doing as well modeling, and chatted about equality in Hollywood, who inspires her, and what’s she’s learned about the whole Hollywood scene. I’m thrilled to share our conversation with you. Do you enjoy being interviewed? I do like being interviewed. I want people to get to know me. I’d rather we go hang out and do something fun and adventurous but an interview will do. *Wink* Behind every great woman is another great woman, do you agree? I do. My mother is well beyond great. She is my super woman! I’m so blessed to have such a strong and caring human being in my life. She has taught me so many things in lecture, in love, and by example. She has the kindest heart but a tiger-like spirit. Behind my mother was her mother who was my best friend and passed recently. So I’m blessed greatly and grateful for the generation of women who have been in my life. Many say, women may be perceived as having achieved equality to men – “but we’re still not there yet”. What’s your perspective? I say we stop measuring and start doing and believing. Nothing can get accomplished if we’re so concerned with holding that measuring stick. As long as we act it, we can achieve it. We’ve come so far as women and I’m so proud of that. I don’t want to look at what hasn’t been done; I want to be grateful for what has been done and just keep it up. Keep in mind we’re not done ladies but if we keep pausing to check our progress then we’ll trail behind. Keep up the support for other women and don’t worry about the man. Just keep being your greatest self and no one can stand in the way. What do you perceive is the value of education? Knowledge is power. The more we’re taught, the more we allow ourselves to grow, for the better. Education allows the individual to have a freedom like none other. Being well informed allows the individual to be

I love psychology and sociology because I’m a curious person. I believe acting works alongside these studies. It’s a beautiful thing to live multiple lives and I believe acting allows me to do that. Each character I play has a different story and psychology. I respect the lives of the person’s story I get to tell through acting.
