Il centro storico prende vita e celebra una sagra antica, iniziativa molto sentita dalla gente del luogo. La sera, poi, tanta buona musica dal vivo e spettacoli. Tavole di S. Giuseppe La festa di S. Giuseppe cade il 19 marzo. La devozione nei confronti di questo santo si concretizza nella tradizione delle “tavole”. Al di là dell’aspetto religioso, una volta esse rappresentavano la mensa dei poveri; oggi, sono simbolo di ospitalità verso tutti, turisti compresi. Le “tavole” vengono allestite in case private, scuole e oratori, e offerte a S. Giuseppe per ricevere la sua protezione, per chiedere una particolare grazia o per adempiere a un voto.

In the evening, there is lots of great music and street entertainment to be enjoyed. St. Joseph’s Banquet The feast of St. Joseph is celebrated on 19th March when tables laden with food are set up in homes, schools and church halls in devotion to the saint, to ask for his protection, a special intention or for a grace received. Originally they were set up to feed the poor but today they are a symbol of hospitality towards everybody, including tourists.
Heiligen gegenür verwirklicht sich durch die Tradition der “Tavole”. Diese rappräsentierten einst die Tafel der Armen; heute dagegen gelten sie als Symbol aller Menschen, Touristen eingeschlossen. Die “Tavole” werden in Privatwohnungen, Schulen und Oratorien vorbereitet. Sie werden S.Giuseppe gewidmet, um ihn um Schutz oder eine besondere Gnade zu bitten ode ein Gelöbnis zu halten.
