About us
Hyatt Magazine is a free social and cultural magazine which features events and entertainment, lifestyle, business data, leisure, and lore. “Hyatt” in the Arabic language means “life” and our magazine doesn’t shy away from the average life we live and the types of subjects that must be addressed on a day-to-day basis. The magazine’s events and news target the heavy populated Arab community in Chicago and suburbs. Hyatt Magazine is published monthly to promote communication on various topics in an informative and positive manner, and it’s distributed throughout the area by direct mailing and other channels (Retail Locations, Medical Offices, Salons, Restaurants, and more). You’ll find our magazine enlightening and interesting as the articles are written by people like you - who care about the community and contribute immensely to its growth for generations to come. Phoenician Christmas Party On Dec. 2, 2017, Phoenician held their the 99th Annual Appreciation and installation of Officers dinner and Christmas Party. The event was held at New Crystal Palace. Also, announcement of awards recipients for Dr. Ghassan Aldurra for Humanitarian of the year, Mr. Tawfic Salem for Man of the year and Dr. Zeina Kalache for Women of the year. It was an enjoyable night with surrounding with friends and family. Leaving last the Arabic and American music by DJ Fares Chamoun.

The Prayer of Orland Park Mosque
On Dec. 16, 2017 The Prayer of Orland Park Mosque held their annual dinner. Guest speaker Imam Mohammad Al Masmari spoken highly about the mosque and the youth program. The Orland Park Mosque has been growing strongly in the community and setting great active for the youth in the community of Orland Park. On Dec. 17, 2017, Chicago Folklore Ensemble presents: Where River Meet. Stories and songs from masters of Arabic music. Where the river meet is a show of Arabic music and storytelling that takes listeners down the rivers of the Middle East. String ensemble and storyteller accompany master musicians from Iraq, Egypt, and Palestine who share melodies and memories passed down in song and story.

MAS ICNA Event On Dec. 28 to 30, 2017 MAS-ICNA Convention was held in Downtown Chicago. The annual MAS-ICNA Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conventions in North America. The three days event held many great speaker, large bazaar and fun zone for children under 12.If you missed the MAS ICNA Convention 2017 there is also next year.
