About us Hyatt Magazine is a free social and cultural magazine which features events and entertainment, lifestyle, business data, leisure, and lore. “Hyatt” in the Arabic language means “life” and our magazine doesn’t shy away from the average life we live and the types of subjects that must be addressed on a day-to-day basis. The magazine’s events and news target the heavy populated Arab community in Chicago and suburbs. Hyatt Magazine is published monthly to promote communication on various topics in an informative and positive manner, and it’s distributed throughout the area by direct mailing and other channels (Retail Locations, Medical Offices, Salons, Restaurants, and more). You’ll find our magazine enlightening and interesting as the articles are written by people like you - who care about the community and contribute immensely to its growth for generations to come. AAFS’s Event January 13, 2017, held the Arab American Family Service (AAFS) Annual Cosmic Bowling. Many Middle Eastern family and friends attended the night until 1am. CPFF’s Event
January 21, 2017, Chicago Palestine Film Fest ’s held their roller skating fundraiser. Little about CPFF and their Mission: “The Chicago Palestine Film Festival (CPFF) is an independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian project based in Chicago that exhibits and promotes films by Palestinian directors and films about Palestine. CPFF is dedicated to presenting a film festival that is open, critical, and reflective of the culture, experience and vision of the filmmakers. In recent years CPFF has become more than a film festival, but an organization dedicated to social justice.

We are the original storytellers of Palestine and our mission is to reflect Palestine and its culture through the vision of its artists. CPFF promotes films about Palestine and by Palestinian directors. We are honored to have presented Oscar nominated films such as “Paradise Now”, “Omar”, and “Idol” by Hany AbuAssad as well “5 Broken Cameras” by Emad Burnat. Our success not only comes from great films from amazing artists, but it comes from a team of dedicated volunteers who work year-round to put on an incredible film festival. We believe Palestine is synonymous with strength and we love to showcase strong, proud Palestinians. Our team of volunteers is diverse, but dedicated. The Festival began in 2001 and continues to be organized by a group of dedicated volunteers. We are supported by a local community of individuals, small businesses, and organizations. Hussein El Deek’s Concert
January 27, 2017, DIB Entertainment lead by Mike Dib, brought in many great performers from the Middle Eastern. One of the finest singer was Hussein El Deek. The event took place in the Northside of Chicago and was a full house. Many Middle Eastern from all over Chicago attend that night. The doors were open at 9pm and Hussein’s fans were lining up. While fans walking in, hearing DJ Bremo’s music and later opening of the show was singer Ahmed Hatoum, from Detroit. As the fans waited for the superstar Hussein El Deek.
