Fair Tax

Now, Illinois taxpayers are paying 4.95% state income tax as flat rate across the board which required by Illinois constitution. Any increase on the tax rate will affect all people in Illinois. If voters pass the new amendment this November that will significantly change the formation of Illinois state income taxes. This deceptive and destructive Constitutional Amendment will give Illinois Legislature full power to raise taxes anytime on any taxpayers group without accountability. This new Amendment will give the Legislature unprecedented new power to rise income tax rates anytime on any group without limitation. Mostly will target middle-income and small business owners. Ask yourself this question, do you think politicians in Illinois who are supported by lobbyist will raise the tax on rich people in the most corrupted state in the nation? The number of tax brackets and the rate will be limitless. After approv-

ing the new amendment, nothing will prevent the Legislature from increasing state income taxes on everyone. To fund out-of-control spending, the Legislature raised the state income tax twice in the last decade but still having $8 billion budget deficit. Without the Legislature fixing mismanaged the State’s finances and the fiscal mismanagement, they will keep raising taxes on Illinois taxpayers including middle-class families and small businesses pushing more people to leave the state. Governor Pritzker stated that the Amendment will not protect lowerincome and middle-income taxpayers from potential tax hikes. “So, there’s certainly no guarantees.” ABC 7 interview, Chicago, April 23rd, 2019. Large employers will be forced to leave the state causing tens of thousands of jobs being lost and even more people will leave Illinois.

Scorpio

Horoscope

Oct 22 - Nov. 23

You got into computers early so you could use made-up, bulls**t terminology and get away with it. Most hackers are Scorpios, as are most people who think they’re going to find fame on a chat board. You embarrass Libras because you like your coffee straight out of the bag, eaten with a spoon. You may have actually snorted Chock Full o’ Nuts at one time in your life. You take your paranoid beatnik approach to life very seriously. Many Scorpios have found ways to successfully smoke in the shower. Your number-one grudge is about never having been abducted by aliens, or being the victim of a government conspiracy. Most of those fake virus warnings or cash offers from Bill Gates are your attempt to stir something up. Ironically, Bill Gates is a Scorpio. The fully-automated barracks he lives in should clear up any doubt. Your master plan for

world domination will never work because it involves you at the helm. It is hard for you to accept that Star Trek is fiction, and you are not a Borg leader. Scorpios use expletives to describe philosophical concepts. It’s no wonder that Halloween falls smack in the middle of the Scorpio range. This is the only time of year when fake hauntings, sugar-induced hysteria, and impersonating Dr. Who won’t get you arrested. Scorpios have strong sex drives, because it gives them yet another opportunity to smoke. Scorpios have much advice to give on matters that are of no concern to them. If you want to find out if someone is a Scorpio, ask them a pertinent question. Five minutes of silence later, the answer will be “I’m sorry, what?” Scorpios are often hairy and feel that this makes them more virile. This is especially true of Scorpio women. Scorpios cheat at the lottery. If it’s automated, they can hack it. Advertisement

Halloween is not just a holiday it’s something that

livens my mind up every time I think about it. For some, Halloween is just a day but for me it’s a lifestyle. This outfit is A representation of my creativity and how I express my style no I do not dress like this every day but when I can I really feel like me. I chose to dress as an old Victorian vampire, elegant with a side of darkness. Halloween is the one day out of the year where people who stay in their comfort zone find their way out and dress how they want to express who they truly would want to be for one day in fashion with a costume.

Dressing up in costumes and trick-or-treating is a tradition we all know circled around Halloween. Halloween, contraction of All Hallows’ Eve, a holiday observed on October 31, the evening before All Saints’ (or All Hallows’) Day. The celebration marks the day before the Western Christian feast of All Saints and initiates the season of Allhallowtide, which lasts three days and concludes with All Souls’ Day. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Written by Kylie Oconnell

Jokes, Thoughts & Poem

A piece of Fabric Colorful bright piece of fabric covers my head, Keep it on wrapped all the time, till go to bed. Colorful bright piece of fabric is my crown of honor, It’s my choice to wear, so why to bother? Colorful bright piece of fabric is my dignity, wrapped with serenity... My path, my symbol for infinity. “Take of your scarf, I bet you’re BOLD... You are Not in your country, neither is it cold”. Colorful bright piece of fabric is NOT a sign of oppression... It is my internal path for peace, security, and my religious expression. Who said that I can’t practice my freedom of religion? It is my human right. My colorful bright piece of fabric is worthy of the fight. Colorful bright piece of fabric opens a gate of fire When ignorant racists call me terrorist at their desire Colorful bright piece of fabric is my modesty. Walking down the aisle with the crown of majesty. Poem by Iman Mohd s/jokes ent/article v e r u o y at: s, email us To submit n io it d e g min in the upco g.com ma info@hyatt
