This exhibition will feature a large art collection including paintings, sculptures, graphic art, curiosities, periodicals and posters. Masterpieces of artists such as Man Ray, Max Ernst, Magritte and Dalí to explore all those arcane and phantasmagorical themes that make Surrealism one of the most enigmatic and vast art currents.

Museo del Novecento and Palazzo Morando

The exhibition explores the ups and downs of the Futurist movement in an unprecedented juxtaposition of painting and applied arts. At the two venues, leading lights of Futurism Giacomo Balla, Gino Severini, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carrà and Fortunato Depero dialogue with the Vorticist paintings of their English contemporaries including Percy Wyndham Lewis and Christopher Nevinson, on the basis of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti’s manifesto.

Palazzo Reale

An important exhibition dedicated to the undisputed master of video art since the 1970s: Bill Viola. Visitors of the exhibition will have the opportunity to admire the artist’s works, slowmoving images in which he uses light, colour and sound to create moments of introspection and explore profound topics.
