FARE BUSINESS HUB In the present media landscape, dominated by an ever-increasing number of digital interactions, it is more difficult than ever to raise above the general clutter and gain the attention of one’s target group. In this context, b-to-b-gatherings can be a very good stimulator of both physical and social media-driven branding activities that do then obtain critical mass.

La vera importanza del canale fieristico nella nuova epoca che si delinea sta diventando sempre più chiara. I tempi in cui il desk allo stand era il solo luogo in cui concludere una transazione sono ormai tramontati da parecchio. I formati dal successo più dirompente, come il Salone del Mobile e il Pitti Uomo, sono diventati ben altro. In queste occasioni il networking e il branding vanno di pari passo, puntando sul passaparola di una comunità di opinion leader che, supportati sempre più fortemente dal mezzo digitale, fanno poi passare in tempo reale il messaggio a una massa critica non solo di altri addetti ai lavori che ruotano professionalmente intorno a loro anche se non sono fisicamente in loco, ma anche, in maniera crescente, direttamente intorno al consumatore finale. Questa formula di aggregazione si potrebbe definire a cerchi concentrici. Si parte da chi si incontra nel luogo della kermesse, coinvolgendo attivamente la propria community per essere successivamente fiancheggiato da mezzi di comunicazione di massa coinvolti in modo mirato: dai “vecchi” media (stampa e TV), fino agli influencer di tipo più disparato. Il bello dell’evento dedicato a un intero settore è che poi, tutti insieme, i partecipanti - sia i brand, sia i buyer - fanno appunto massa critica e ottengono così il potere di catapultare gli hashtag più popolari in vetta alla piramide social. Non è più solo tempo di business matching, dunque. Ma momento di intensa fiammata comunicativa.
