Stables in the Park...

Career shapers, Park have promoted Cam Stables to the role of Senior Consultant and recruited two more recruitment consultants to their ranks.

To support the long-term growth strategy of the business, Cam will draw on his knowledge and expertise in the financial services sector to support the Directors and development of the company’s plans. With an earlier career in trust administration, he brings his technical knowledge and strength of understanding in these roles and responsibilities to closely partner with his clients in their recruitment strategies. This recent appointment is a direct reflection of Cam’s continued commitment to the business, as well as his delivery of excellent client and candidate service and his dedication to the recruitment industry.

Tom is Deputy GM

An experienced and well-respected member of the team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa has a new role for the New Year. Tomas Nadassky has been promoted to Deputy General Manager.

Tomas, who was born in Slovakia, joined the hotel in April 2021 as Food and Beverage Manager, overseeing the hotel’s restaurants and bars, he has been a key member of the team since joining the hotel and was promoted to Operations Manager last summer.

In his new role as Deputy General Manager Tomas will be responsible for the operational Heads of Departments, ensuring the popular beachside hotel continues to deliver one of the best guest experiences on the island. Ensuring that all areas of the hotel work cohesively, he will take an active role in forecasting, budgeting and reporting and will work with the management team on internal and external marketing initiatives.

Commenting on his new role, Tomas said, “I’m thrilled to be promoted to this new role and to be able to assist in leading the amazing team of colleagues at L’Horizon. As we start our preparations for another successful summer season ahead, I look forward to supporting the team in welcoming back our many regular guests as well as greeting our first time visitors with our natural and engaging service style, so they take home fond memories of staying at the island’s iconic beach resort.”

Commenting on Cams appointment, Gemma Marshall Director at Park, said: “ I would like to congratulate Cam on reaching this important milestone in his career and it is very well deserved. Cam has been a fantastic addition to our team, and we are delighted to have seen him flourish in his role. He has a fresh perspective and ambitions to take us into the future at an extremely busy and interesting time for the recruitment marketplace!”

Speaking on his new role, Cam comments: “I am delighted to be taking on a more senior role within the team at Park. It is fantastic to be a part of such a well-established Recruitment business and we have so much to offer the local jobs market. Whilst continuing my client facing recruitment activities, I am excited to take on more responsibility in supporting the Directors to further innovate on our current offering to both clients and candidates alike, so that our business strategy remains current in a vastly evolving marketplace. I look forward to strengthening our client partnerships as a Senior Consultant and to continue to contribute to the excellent reputation that Park holds in the industry”.

The local Recruitment business have also sourced two further Consultants to join the team; Emma Bennetts brings a solid financial services background gained from both the banking and fiduciary sector to her role and Veronica Da Costa has over 2 years in recruitment coupled with trust administration expertise taking their Consulting team to five.

Senior Appointments at Butterfield

Butterfield has appointed Richard Saunders as Managing Director of Jersey in addition to his current role as Managing Director of the Channel Islands & UK and member of Butterfield’s Executive Committee.

Mr Saunders, who served as Managing Director of Guernsey since 2015, takes over responsibility for Jersey from Noel McLaughlin. Maria Moore has been appointed as Head of Finance, Banking for the Channel Islands & UK. Michael Collins, Butterfield’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said: ‘This year marks Butterfield’s 50th anniversary in the Channel Islands and we welcome Richard, Alan and Maria to their new roles as we continue to focus on the expansion of our business to serve local residents. We thank Noel for his leadership over the past years and his support in growing Jersey from three employees to team of more than 40.”

Richard Saunders has more than two decades’ experience in the financial services industry. Previously, Mr. Saunders was Butterfield’s Head of European Asset Management and prior to that spent seven years dealing with private client investments at RBC. Mr. Saunders is a Chartered Member of the London-based Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Maria Moore, who joined the company earlier this year as Head of Finance in Jersey, is a member of Butterfield Bank (Jersey) Limited’s Executive Committee. She has worked in the finance industry for nearly twenty years, starting her career in Jersey with Lloyds Bank before moving to RBC International Wealth Management. She qualified for the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation in 2009.
