The metromover station due to its location, should be designed to become an urban and architectural element able to bind and link the existing urban fabric to the Bicentennial park. The architecture of the new station is intended as a visual reference easily discernible from the areas adjacent to the park. It is a sculptural intervention that evokes movement, and transparence, interacting with both, public transport users and outer spectators. The proposal tries to solve the problems of connection between the station and the access to new museums square. It also tries to extend the park beyond the metromover tracks in order to link the museums with the existing Arts Center at the other side of the highway.
