EFR part-time committees

Meet EFR

With over 7.000 members, EFR is one of the most active and most professional study associations of Europe. From academic events to recruitment occasions and social gathering; we bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Each year, we organise various activities and events for students of Erasmus School of Economics, as well as other students of the Erasmus University. Among other things, we offer the cheapest books, provide study support and organise social events to help students feel at home in Rotterdam. We also help prepare you for the labour market, bring you in touch with your future employer and enhance your student experience.

All events of EFR are organised by committee members. You can now apply for one of our committees, so you can organise one of our events yourself!

For questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at challenge@efr.nl

2. What will you gain?

Personal

Learning to handle stress, providing effective feedback, receiving criticism and making decisions around tight schedules are important skills that are not easily picked up during lectures. You might have had a time management class or read something about giving feedback, but it is only after you have put it into practice that you begin to understand the fine nuances of these soft skills.

EFR Board support

As a committee member, you are not alone in doing your tasks. The EFR Board is there to support you when needed. Every committee has one supervisor from the EFR Board, who will guide you through your year. The EFR Board consists of nine senior students who are dedicating one full-time year to EFR. They have been in your position and are always there to help.

Social

EFR organises tons of social activities each year. As a committee member you can participate in almost all of them! From our own introduction weekends, committee members prom, parties, committee members

weekend, our monthly social drink and other get-togethers, there is always something going on. You will form a very stong bond with your committee and other committee members.

EFR Academy

EFR offers its committee members the EFR Academy. This includes several general and committee specific workshops. This helps to contribute even more to the professional development of our committee members. Furthermore, social development is an important part of your committee member experience. Therefore, we will organise structured feedback sessions and we bring committees in contact with their predecessors so they can learn from their experience.
