www.renatabosnjak.com bosnjakrenata@hotmail.com Renata Bosnjak was born in Bosnia and Hercegovina in 1976. She grew up evolving through all of her personal and professional experiences, developing her love for her craft; and mastering her artistry. She is a self-taught artist and has managed to develop her own style by using religion and realism, thus referencing old masters. Renata is the ultimate observer, she turns ugly into smart and beautiful, with very little effort. And brings even more understandings to the old cliche “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” But in her case, she has allowed all to experience beauty the way it was intended by sharing the richness in her eyes, in the most exquisite way through her art. Today, Renata’s work has received several awards from critically acclaimed art curators and has been in multiple gallery exhibitions.

The vibrant regional art scene intensified my interest in the arts. Through courses and self-taught painting techniques my artistic spectrum was enhanced and intensified. Art trips to Austria, Italy and Southern France widened my sense of perception. Professional challenges led to an interruption of my artistic productivity. After working as a dental technician and director of a dental laboratory, since 2001 I have been able to turn my attention to the arts. Presently I work as a freelance artist developing my particular style in creating and refining three-dimensional sculptural images on canvas.”

CORDELIA DOLL

www.kunstundwohnen.info kunstundwohnen1@web.de “Bringing the natural beauty into my pictures by incorporating its patterns and shapes, makes my images become like plastic vertical landscapes These bases mainly contain natural elements, which are reunited to entirely new forms and compositions. The materials and single pieces are extracted from their primary surroundings and put together to different and alienated picture backgrounds, symbols and narratives. Furthermore, the creative colourful surfaces alter their original meaning and emphasize a specifically intended atmosphere on my images. Unification of the variety of elements under one context takes place. The single piece is aligned and plays its own individual role within a harmonious orchestra of colours and shapes. My art aims at drawing the observer’s attention to the concept that each unique part is important for the whole. Human creativity is just a tiny section of the creativity of nature. We human beings are just a portion of our surroundings, a jigsaw puzzle piece of our universe. Time has come, that we learn once again to interact carefully and in a sustainable way with our fellow living beings on our planet Earth. All is interconnected and interacts with each other. This wonder is called creation.” World Wide Art MAGAZINE VI

Painting is for me just like writing. It gives me a chance to let out, translate, express, free whatever comes to mind and to heart. Just as she knows that adverse circumstances can produce great things.

FEDERICO GRAZZINI https://federicograzzini.net fegrazzini@gmail.com

Federico Grazzini, born in Rome, Italy, started drawing and painting in childhood. First inspired by the great Renaissance artists, Federico then studied the most important avant-garde of the 20th Century, in particular Surrealism and Metaphysics. His main technique is oil on canvas, and sometimes wood or cardboard. His works are representative of real or imaginary landscapes, figures, personalized architectural elements with references to history, mythology and sometimes with a pinch of enigma. The metaphysical reference is present in many of his works where order and the compositional clearness define the stylized physiognomy and the clear outlines of the objects represented, be they mannequins, sculptures, architectural elements or showcases. The works of Federico Grazzini have been reviewed by some of the most influential Italian art critics. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and in other European countries, namely France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Denmark, obtaining various awards and recognitions.

JULIET HILLBRAND JulietHillbrand.com JulietHillbrand@gmail.com

Self-taught artist, Juliet Hillbrand was born in 1994 and lives in Houston, Texas. Named in ‘Top Artists of 2019’ by DESTIG Magazine’s Barcelona Issue, Juliet’s work has been exhibited in dozens of art shows around the world. Inspired by mother nature in her endless forms, she combines abstraction with realism. Exploring the collections of ocean energy, nakedness, and metamorphosis, Hillbrand’s pieces are often themed by nature’s intrinsic force of transformation. Unable to be tamed to one style, her figurative realism pieces are often monochromatic. These black and white tones are used as a reflection of the feminine air of mystery; its uncapturable quality of etherealism. With hundreds of sold pieces to collectors scattered across the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia, Hillbrand offers vibrant medium-mixing for visual intrigue. The results are entrancingly open-ended, left up to the interpretation of the viewer. Juliet has been interviewed by Art Qol, Studio Visit Magazine, Creativ Paper Magazine, Edge of Humanity, and Woodlands Art. She has been featured by Saatchi Art Gallery (the leading online art auction service), The UK Gallery, Fine Art America, Artfinder, as well as being named in Art Reveal Magazine’s - Artists to Watch.’ World Wide Art MAGAZINE VI

“I am 85 years old, born in Italy, and have lived in Chicago for 60 years. I studied art in Venice and at the Art Institute of Chicago. A noted painter since the age of 6, I have had several group shows in Italy and the Chicago area, notably “Rest in Power,” and 16 oneperson shows, notably “The Splendor of the Mandala” (2009) and the nationally reviewed “Gladiolus: Metaphor of Life and Death” (1989). I have received numerous prestigious awards and was included in the American Art Collector series (2007 to 2012). I am also a published poet and in my latest paintings embed lines from my poetry. I created a style which I call Geometric Lyricism, reflecting the luminosity of the Italian masters who inspired me and my life-long love of geometry for its elegance, symmetry, order, and grace.”

IWONA JANKOWSKI IwonaJankowski.com

“My “Mottled Horses” – Equine/Western art developed since 2002-3 in my new “Mottled” style that merges abstract and expressionism with a touch of realism. The subject is created on a colorful abstract background to express feelings, often shown as a close-up, with special attention to the eyes and focusing on specific moods and composition. Often with secondary transparent image/s to show movement or a specific scenario. In my paintings, I don’t intend to replicate photo-realistic objects, but to capture the utmost uniqueness of life. Illustrating my subjects, I often pay no attention to exact shapes, textures, or real colors and emphasize just on a small fragment, sometimes a very tiny detail, in order to insinuate an idea. That approach leads me to concentrate on what I feel and not what I see or know about the subject. Also, it helps me to effectively use visuals to depict a story about my subject. My art captures just an indication of a subject to leave the rest for my viewer’s imagination to create the unique picture.”

NOAH PHYLLIS LEVIN

www.noahphyllislevin.com noahphyllislevin@gmail.com

Noah Levin received her Masters’ Degree in Painting from San Francisco State University in 1980. Before leaving San Francisco for New York in 1982, she was painting large images of bare walls and floors suffused in light and shadow. Of her work, Charles Shere wrote, “She is painting super-realistic architectural details, highlighting them with a saturated palette of strong mauves, ochres, and oranges, but the real subject of her painting is the space and light filling those interiors.” Levin returned to San Francisco in 1998, and took her camera to Stow Lake, near where she lives. Using photos as a springboard, she developed a series of paintings about light and shadow on water. Since 2003 Levin has been painting the varying blue waters of swimming pools--from the geometric minimalism of motels to the lushness of garden pools. The series has distilled a “film noir” sense of light and shadow in the figureless pools. What all her paintings share is a sense of stillness and mystery.

LINDA LINDUS

www.lindalindus.com LLLindus@gmail.com Linda Lindus was born in a rural Pacific Northwest logging town. As a wide-eyed, nature child, she developed an eye for the subtle and sometimes striking beauty of everyday moments and encounters in her environment. Traipsing through the woods, she learned to read the forest’s signs: the moss on the pines, the deer tracks and the grunt of a bear hidden in the blackberry patch. During the wooded treks and adventures, nature came alive for her. Today bold deserts and the brilliant skies surrounding her Scottsdale, Arizona home inspire her. A juried artist, who has won numerous awards since 1975, she studied art, taught in colleges, and expanded her education through self-directed independent private workshops and classes. Her galleries and most recent exhibits have been in Scottsdale and her collectors are found throughout the US and in Canada.

As 2020 unfolded and the world was both literally and figuratively burning, this solidified the idea that humanity is playing a lot of dangerous games: we’re toying not only with the mass extinction of our planet’s flora and fauna, but also the future of humanity itself. May we not fly too much closer to the sun...”

The principal theme in my art is femininity and the image of women varying across different cultures and ethnic identities. So the goal is to focus attention on differences, particularities and also on imperfections to emphasize a unique aspect of the beauty of each woman. My aim is to create artworks that influence, inspire and motivate women encouraging them to be stronger. I’m working mainly in acrylic colours on linen. “I was born in Riga, Latvia. As a small girl, I loved to dance and did piles and piles of drawings. Summers I spent in the country - at my grandfather’s. There I was given total freedom to roam the beautiful meadows, fields of rye, the apple orchard, the river bank. Maybe that is why I became an artist – being so much by myself, immersed in the beauty of nature. During WWII, as the Russian army advanced into Latvia, our family had to flee and leave our homeland and the people we loved. We sought refuge in Germany; there we lived in 8 different camps for “Displaced Persons”. In 1951 we emigrated to the United States and settled in Boston. I attended Massachusetts College of Art. My paintings are explorations of color and line. I strive to capture their illusiveness, subtleties and mysteries. Often music influences my work. I want my paintings to express beauty, harmony and tranquility.” “If there is a purpose to her work, it is to wash away with a stroke of her brush all that is ugly, cacophonic and strident, and all that would anger the soul. She succeeds admirably”. - DeDorest Shelley, Lake Placid News

REBECCA SANDERS www.rebeccasanders.art office@rebeccasanders.art

“The works in my collection “Intimacy” reflect a sacred state of intimacy and complete unity with ourselves. A state in which our thoughts and actions serve only one purpose: To create joyful experiences and feelings based on our true wishes and desires. It´s about the arrival in our soul´s core energy and the total commitment to it, which includes the detachment from trying to please and satisfy others instead of ourselves. The fear of being rejected or disliked fully dissolves in this state of being, in which we entirely merge with your personal truth.”

STEPHANIE SCHRÖTER www.dasbildhaueratelier.de Stephanie.schroeter@gmx.de

The artist’s interest in sculptural transformation of themes and ideas lies mainly in the field of abstraction. It is not illustration but the ‘’essence“ (following the tradition of Aristotle) or ‘’the essential“ (essentia) in Stephanie Schroeter’s sculptures that play a central role. In her work, the selected materials evolve ideally to contemporary but timeless forms. Several stays in Italy, nearby Carrara, helped Stephanie to perfect the handcraft in treating stones and inspired her to transform her chosen material into sculptures that express her interest in literature and philosophy. In 2013 she realized a live-sized sculpture out of concrete in a park in Cologne. The public attention was huge, which enabled her to sell some of her works to art collectors. She presents her artworks frequently in exhibitions and fairs in Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy, has cooperation with some academies and gives workshops in sculpting in her studio.

JAN TEUNISSEN www.jteunissen.com

Jan Teunissen, born in 1949, grew up in Zeelst, in the south of The Netherlands under the smoke of Eindhoven. He lives and works in Best, also located in North Brabant. Initially, he followed a technical education and graduated as a business engineer. Until 2002, he did this alongside a job in business, after which he focused on painting. Jan Teunissen is a major autodidact and his work is characterized by a high level of reality and often somewhat mystical, clair-obscurious atmosphere. Still life with images of utensils and food such as bread and fruit. So lifelike, and basically no bigger than in real life, these paintings are such that they evoke comments and have ratings such as: “So real you would take a bite out of it”, “You can smell what fruit it’s all about” or “Any moment a worm can crawl out of those pears.” Studying many pieces of art from the old masters and experimenting with materials and subjects, gave Jan the ability to make realistic paintings in a responsible and artistic way.

ALBENA VATCHEVA (ALBENA)

https://albena-vatcheva.pixels.com/ albena.painter@free.fr

“I am a French artist born in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. I am also an architect, a poet and a graphic designer. I create mainly oil paintings on canvas or wood. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being an artist painter or writer, I wanted to make people experience deep emotions while interacting with my work. As I was interested in many other subjects, I did long studies, published a book of poems and finally became an architect. For 5 years, I worked as an architect, mainly for bank offices. When I changed countries at the age of 29, I left everything behind and started a new life in France. I gradually became a self–employed, self-taught artist.”

ALBENA VATCHEVA (ALBENA)

https://albena-vatcheva.pixels.com/ albena.painter@free.fr

“My work is all about capturing love, tenderness and beauty in life. My favorite media is oil. I have worked a lot to create my own special technique oil on canvas by several layers. I use about ten successive layers for most of the paintings. I try to capture the magic of life, thus bright vibrant colors are absolutely necessary for me. I started reading at the age of 3. My inspiration comes from all the wonderful fairy tale books with illustrations by Bulgarian or international painters that I read in my childhood – and all my life experiences afterward; world mythologies and cultures. That is why people of very different origins find themselves in my paintings and this is the greatest reward for me as an artist.” Albena is represented by galleries in France, Qatar, United States, Argentina. She resides in Rouen, France. Albena is the recipient of the Bronze Medal from the prestigious “Société des Artistes Français”. Her art was presented at the international art fairs in the US, Italy, China, Qatar, Canada and Monaco.

HIROSHI WADA https://hiroshiwada.jp/ info@hiroshiwada.jp

Contemporary artist and calligrapher, Hiroshi Wada lives in Kyoto and began to practice Japanese Shodo (literally means the way of calligraphy) at the age of 5. Wada has received awards several times at the Nitten exhibition, which is the biggest and greatest general art exhibition in Japan. Currently, the artist has solo and group shows mainly in Europe and the USA. ““Sho” for which I aim is not what is known as traditional Japanese “sho”, but a modern “sho” that matches any scene in the world. Moreover, it is not avant-garde calligraphy (Bokusho), formative art with sumi ink, but it is more readable and comprehensible with containing the aforementioned elements. Other calligraphers use the technique of writing after a model, rinsho, which they have learned and write so-called calligraphers’ characters. On the other hand, in my case, I try to once forget what I have learned so far and start with a clean slate to write characters like a child who writes characters innocently. Even so, the lines of characters should be such lines as only a proficient calligrapher can draw, and the characters should be avant-garde but readable. This is the calligraphy I wish to achieve.” World Wide Art MAGAZINE VI
