“Color has always been close. As a specialized offset printer/color mixer, reproducer of antique ceramic tile panels and a painter, there has always been curiosity and the urge to create. Driven and searching for more than the display of an image. Based on an idea and improvising photo sessions, I look for surprising images that appeal to me for some reason. I edit or combine elements that show me a personal direction. I add and leave out. Sometimes the image itself finds its way. Searching for the most penetrating expressiveness of the image, I paint in oil, building layer after layer, and wet in wet, patient and detailed. Sometimes unambiguous, often alienating, contradictory or with a touch of surrealism. The structure of fabrics and the naturalness of skin are a recurring challenge. The collaboration with a female model, a muse, leads to a period from which realistic romantic paintings arise.�

To bring unerring accuracy in his art, he looked forward with hope and studied at the Ghanatta College of Art and Design (Accra – Ghana) where he instinctively developed and matured in the art field. He has had 8 solo exhibitions in Ghana and 11 group participations in Ghana and in London. His works belong to private and public collections in many countries. He is an awarded artist and also a member of Ghana Association of Visual Artists (GAVA).
About this work African masks in general play a great cultural and traditional role in the history of the world. Their remarkable and historical accounts have baffled many and the masks are not playthings or decorations. This reveals a spiritual model, which together with the mystical aspects of musicianship in the African culture, leads to a compound form of subordination for musicians and hearers. Against this cultural notion, xylophonists compose and perform as an act of victory, contestation, and catharsis that recasts their lives as a lived reality and reframes the true locations of their beliefs. Most people believe the players exchange their physical senses while they play, but it’s that magic moment of internal joy that cannot be explained but experienced. With this piece, Seth Alifo communicates the expression of joy of an African Xylophonist through his personally developed style of painting.

She is a self-taught artist, specialized in animal art. Involved in wildlife protection, her art is a means to give a voice to silent beings. She has contributed to several charitable exhibitions for wildlife conservation. Anagruz aims at highlighting the fragility and precious nature of wildlife, and to raise awareness about how little our knowledge about it is. She mixes abstract and figurative art, creating powerful and original artworks in which the animal gaze is intense and impressive. She has had 37 group participations in France and Belgium, and three solo exhibitions in Paris. She is an awarded artist and the recipient of international prizes in 2019 and 2020.

Cher Anderson was born in Kingston, NY in 1962 and lives in Chandler, Arizona. She is mostly selftaught in watercolors, colored pencil, pastels and acrylics for which she attended several workshops taught by Master wildlife artists. Cher was awarded as one of the Top 60 Masters and Artist of the Decade in 2020 by Art Tour International Magazine as well as having won many international competitions. Her works belong to private and public collections in many countries. She is a signature member of Artists for Conservation, Women Artists of the West, Sonoran Art League, Arizona Art Alliance, International Guild of Realism, Colored Pencil Society of America and the American Artists Professional League. Cher has been published in numerous magazines including Southwest Art Magazine, Art Tour International, American Art Collector, Western Art Collector, International Artist Magazine, Watercolor Artist Magazine as well as several books including AcrylicWorks 5 & 6, Artists for Conservation 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. Her art practice focuses on the relationship of color, shape, line, and form with realistic components that are communicated in a painterly language. By integrating shapes into a cohesive body of colors and forms in conjunction with collage elements, flowing ideas are arbitrarily manifested that bring attention to the brushstrokes, mark-making, and materiality on the surface of each painting. However, the primary focus of her practice is to transform the static space of each painting with synchronized contrasting colors highlighting its chemistry and resonance.

Born in Trieste, Italy, artist Gianfranco (John) Gambardella draws from his Italian artistic heritage. Based in Melbourne, Australia, he is predominately a self-taught artist and a realist by nature. Gambardella is inspired by places that surround him or visits in his travels. His love of structure and colour is evident in his reach art palette, using various techniques to create enigmatic compositions in his search for new methods of expression. At age 73, Gambardella has continued to keep interest and self-development in fine art. Over time, he has been privileged to have exhibited at various notable art awards and exhibitions nationally and internationally, which has made him a highly soughtafter artist. Most recently, Gambardella has been privileged to be the recipient of a Masters Art Award from ArtTour International Inc., which is to be presented in Florence, Italy, in 2021.

She studied Art at the Philadelphia College of Art and Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Graef has had 12 group exhibitions all over the United States in the last few years and one solo exhibition earlier. She is scheduled to exhibit next year in the famous Miami Art Week at Spectrum-Red Dot. Her works are in private collections across the United States and is an awarded winning artist. Graef is an active member of the National Association of Independent Artists, St Petersburg Art Alliance and Art Center Sarasota.

She attended the Naples School of Art and obtained a Master of Art Diploma. She followed courses at the Academy and later devoted herself to teaching at the Italian State Secondary School where she also directs and performs stage and mural work for theatrical activities. In 1999 Grisolia joined the Milan Illustrators Association. Since 1974 she has held numerous exhibitions of personal art, participates in numerous group exhibitions and art competitions in Italy and abroad: England, France, Spain. In 2004 she participated in the International Artexpo in New York.

Arturo Guerrero PĂŠrez was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico in 1946. An architect trained at the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Iberoamerican University, (Mexico). He resides in Ecuador since 1975 and is the President of Guerrero y Cornejo Arquitectos CĂa. Ltda. Along with his activity as an architect, Arturo has developed extensive work as a painter, using the most varied pictorial techniques: oil, acrylic, watercolor, nib. He has had four individual exhibitions (Ecuador and Mexico) and has participated in several group exhibitions.

Although John learned to draw and paint as a young boy, his degrees are in the computer science field. It wasn’t until 2010 when his wife bought him a large easel and encouraged him to start painting again, that he began to take his art career seriously. Since then he has displayed works in over 90 juried exhibitions including several books and magazines. John is a Signature Member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters.

“Color has always been close. As a specialized offset printer/color mixer, reproducer of antique ceramic tile panels and a painter, there has always been curiosity and the urge to create. Driven and searching for more than the display of an image. Based on an idea and improvising photo sessions, I look for surprising images that appeal to me for some reason. I edit or combine elements that show me a personal direction. I add and leave out. Sometimes the image itself finds its way. Searching for the most penetrating expressiveness of the image, I paint in oil, building layer after layer, and wet in wet, patient and detailed. Sometimes unambiguous, often alienating, contradictory or with a touch of surrealism. The structure of fabrics and the naturalness of skin are a recurring challenge. The collaboration with a female model, a muse, leads to a period from which realistic romantic paintings arise.�

C. Frederick Lawrenson was juried into Artists for Conservation in 2003. This organization web hosts the top nature artists in the world. He has also written and illustrated two children’s books; “Shalock and the Cloud of Bad Dreams” in 2010 and “In Search of the Great Wild Kawkins” in 2012. In 2015 two of his paintings; “Abram’s Falls” and “After the Rain” were selected to the Paint the Parks top 100. In 2016 Fred Published a coffee table book titled “All the Difference” containing 56 of his paintings and the inspirations behind them. This book was also selected as one of 3 national finalists in the art category of the USA Best Books Competition.

www.linzilynn.com Linzi Lynn @ Artavita A native of London, Linzi Lynn’s professional career began at an early age in the London theatre as a singer and dancer. After getting married and quitting show business to raise a family, Linzi, looking for a new creative outlet, tried her hand at painting and began developing her artistic skills. After moving to America in 1992 she took painting classes at Montgomery College, Maryland and when she moved to Los Angeles in 1999, she continued with more art classes at Santa Monica College. Linzi is the recipient eight “American Art Awards”. Her multi-colored paintings have been featured on covers and inside various publications, such as “Art & Beyond”. Her painting “Windswept” was voted Best Post-Graduation Housewarming Gift 2017 by editors of Faveable.com. Her colorful painting “Giles” was chosen to appear in an episode of the popular Netflix TV series “Grace and Frankie”. Since 2013, she has licensed images of her paintings to ArtWall and they have sold tens of thousands of her prints on Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, Art.com and more. Mauro Martin was born in Pinerolo, Piedmont, Italy. After graduating from art school, he studied Architecture at the University of Turin. Throughout his studies, he also attended the studio of a famous Surrealist painter from Turin, Raffaele Ponte Corvo, as well as developing a keen interest and involvement with the Venetian artistic circles. Between 1975-1980 his work was based on a Structuralist reinterpretation of 15th-century art. By blending this first experience with a neo-metaphysical conception of art, he stepped into “Magic Realism�. Since 1995, along with figurative works, Mauro has also been making informal or abstract paintings, and has been using photography since 2006. Mauro Martin started his artistic career in 1977 with an exhibition at the San Vidal Gallery in Venice; over the years his work has gone from strength to strength and is deeply appreciated all over Italy, Europe and USA.

Joan studied Art at Cornell University and Colorado College. She has had 29 solo exhibitions in the Southeastern US, has participated in eleven juried international, national and regional shows on the East and West coasts of the US, and 31 other group shows. She served as Artist in Residence at Acadia National Park in Maine for July 2011. Meade’s artworks are in public and private collections across the US, in Canada and the UK. Joan’s passion is for the natural world and she is particularly drawn to water, rocks and trees in their spectacular variety. She finds the medium that best conveys these wonders is sculptural acrylics.

Manuella Muerner Marioni was born in 1964 in Thun, Switzerland and studied Art and Fashion Design at the New Art School Zurich. She then made several trips abroad for art-studies in Florence (IT), Vienna (AT), Lisboa (PT), Paris (FR), Spain, South America and the USA. For seven years, Manuella collaborated with the NIKI DE ST. PHALLE FOUNDATION in Germany, Switzerland, France and th USA. During this time Niki de St. Phalle was her friend and personal teacher. Manuella has been featured in group and solo shows at museums, galleries and cultural centers in Europe, Asia and the US, including Zhou Brothers Foundation Chicago, Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art in Las Vegas and solo show at the International Museum of Contemporary Art ITALIA ARTE in Turin.

These two works depict the harm man is doing to the environment and wildlife by throwing trash, plastics, balloons, tires and motor oil, etc., into what was once the pristine waters of the Everglades, Florida. Oliphant has won several awards for her work in various art shows throughout Arizona, Maine, Colorado, Florida, Mexico and other international shows. Her artwork has also been published in various magazines. One of her works on the Mayan Calendar is in the Museum in Merida, Mexico – public collection. Robert (Bob) Perriam, was a field geologist, for forty years, working in the exploration industry in remote areas of Western Australia. “I carried a camera and photographed the landscapes which I visited. Now retired, I use a small motor-home to make photographic trips to remote and scenic areas. My preference and inspiration is for pristine wilderness landscapes, trees and wildflowers untouched by the hand of man.

Robert Perriam @ Artavita bob.perriam@bigpond.com I do not follow any specific artistic style, or seek to imitate the work of any artist. I seek only to depict in a natural way, the often-harsh beauty of the landscapes, vegetation, and lighting of Australia, in particular the landscapes of the inland deserts. In my photographic practice, I work entirely with ambient outdoor light. I do not use flash because it produces garish colors, I do not use high dynamic range because of its un-natural contrasts, and I dislike oversaturated colours. In using ambient light, as far as possible I choose camera angles relative to the sun to give dramatic lighting effects, however, I usually have to take scenes at the time of day and in the weather in which I find them, so not every image has dramatic lighting. I have now extended my practice to “Hangable Wall Sculpture.” These are hangable works prepared using curly bush timbers collected from long-dead fallen logs during my years as a field geologist, heat sterilized and mounted on carved timber slabs.”

“Born in Switzerland, in 1941, to a prominent family of art and antique collectors, I started to sculpt wood at a very young age. I was drawn to and learned the technique of bronze and lost wax casting “because it is the most demanding material which is responsive and sweet to the touch.” My work is figurative but is not about the figure. I consider myself an expressionist as I am more interested in communicating an abstract feeling or idea than an actual image.”

Ranjan Ramchandani (Olympus Visionary & Brand Ambassador) is a Singapore based published photographer focusing on travel and wildlife. He calls himself a lifelong student of photography who does not like being categorized in any one genre. Ranjan has recently accepted the position of Asia/Africa Editor for the recently launched magazine in the United States - The Wild Lens. He has honed his skills through photography expeditions around the globe including major wildlife destinations. He is also a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. Ranjan has thereafter been covered and published in various media in India and the US - Sanctuary Asia, Green Leaf, BanyoPran, Outdoor Photographer and recently The Wild Lens. He studied Art and Anthropology at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He is represented by the Peninsula Gallery in Lewes, DE and the Portland Art Gallery in Portland, ME. He is a signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists, a member of the Salmagundi Club in NYC, a recipient of the State of Delaware Established Professional Fellowship and was inducted into the Delaware Maritime Hall of Fame in 2016. The National Endowment of the Arts selected one of his works to hang in the Naval Observatory residence of Vice President Biden during his two terms. His work is found in numerous private collections as well as city offices in Lewes.

From 1989 my activities were focused on the fashion industry, this was followed by interior design. After fifteen years, I desired something new, unknown, so not only did I give up my enterprise, I left everything behind. This was the beginning of a rough path, as I was on a mission of spiritual development and search for reality. After a long time, I realized that the difficult and never-ending path of self-exploration entailed many changes. So I gave up searching and stopped. To my great surprise, it was at this point that everything I had been searching for up to that time revealed itself to me. In the harmony that connects colors and forms, I recognized myself, and by now it has become clear to me that I only need to let reality manifest itself through me. I have been painting since then. I have always strived for perfection, not realizing that manifestation true to the given moment and to the person cannot be anything else than perfect.”

He exhibited his artwork in five online exhibitions. He has won three art competitions. Salman is a retired businessman, teacher, inventor and he loves challenging tasks. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economy from Cairo, Egypt and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Amsterdam, Netherlands. His art represents the pain his family went through due to his daughter’s chronic illness, and it is inspired by her.

Tatiana Shitikova was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and graduated with Honours from St. Petersburg Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1996. She thoroughly studied Classical Realism and Abstract Art, developing her skills during her study trips to France and Germany. She never rested working as an artist, continuously developing her own painting style. Tatiana works intensively on her paintings, making several layers of paint flow over one another. The result is bright paintings in light colours or sometimes in earthy shades, always reflecting harmony. Since 1995, she has been exhibiting her works regularly in solo or group shows. Tatiana pursues experimentation with shades of color, shapes and nuances of light. Her works can be found all over the globe, in art galleries, private and public collections. Since 2010, Tatiana Shitikova is living in Switzerland, where she works successfully with various galleries.

Darko Stanic was born in 1978 in Sarajevo. He graduated from the (Secondary) School for Applied Arts in 1997 in Sarajevo. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Department of Sculpture, in 2002 as the valedictorian of his class. He received his MFA in 2008. He has been a member of the BH Association of Fine Artists (ULUBIH) since 2002. He is currently teaching at the Department of Sculpture, Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. He is an awarded artist who participated in international biennials, arts festivals, and exhibited independently and with other artists.

Raf Tarnawski was born in Wrocław, Poland. In 1976 he moved to Lund, Sweden, where he graduated from the School of Graphic Design and spent several years working with photography, graphics, illustration, and advertising. Louise Venning is a Cambridge, UK based awardwinning artist with an MA from the Royal College of Art and an OSCAR as part of the VFX team for Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator’. Louise concentrates her artistic flair on experimenting with resin, metal leaf and acrylics. Her paintings take on a visual rhythm of colour and texture. They have a sculptural and almost 3D effect to them. The ‘Colour’ series and ‘Patina’ series come alive with sublime depth of colour and tactile texture. Each one an abstract depiction of natural phenomena. Seascapes, storms and sunsets. Experimenting with layering techniques she creates a depth and sense of movement, designed to pull you into the painting. The sculptural texture means it changes with the light. The audience observes something new every time they look at it. Louise sells and exhibits at art fairs, galleries and creates bespoke private commissions.

Kees maintains a small studio at home and for larger sculptures, he travels to Pietrasanta, Italy, the mecca for sculpture. Self-taught, Larry’s work reflects his unique ability to combine his passion for law with his love for artistic expression through bold textures and vibrant colors. Dedicating over 40 years to building his legal skills, Larry explores his experiences as a practicing defense attorney through an introspection that is expressed in his series of original paintings entitled: “A Brush with the Law”. Larry’s unique use of raw canvas allows its bare essence to create an interplay of primitive energy and sophisticated emotions. Each piece expresses the artist’s struggle (and joy) as he travels and navigates through a systematic world. Larry communicates this struggle to search for new alternatives and solutions to problems both in art and in the courtroom. This series expresses his drive to always look at things in a new way. Art has become an outlet that has taken Larry Wolf on a journey that he shares with us through these works that are as intriguing to the mind as they are a delight to the eye.

Anna Yurasovsky was born in 1962 in Moscow, and now has her studio in the heart of the city. She studied art for 10 years at Krasnaya Presnya Art School, starting from age 6. Later she received a university degree in English, traveled worldwide, and worked as an interpreter and journalist, while her painting technique was evolving into her own signature style. Since the 1990s, she has participated in group exhibitions and contests in Russia and internationally, and her paintings in oil and acrylic are in private collections in many countries around the world.
