ITO YASUYUKI Born in 1971 in Hiroshima, Ito Yasuyuki experienced a sudden deterioration in his eyesight in 2003, leading to loss of central vision. He began life training and occupational training at Nippon Lighthouse in Osaka in the fall of 2003 to learn how to deal with his new condition. Ito currently lives in Kobe and actively exhibits internationally including in Japan as well as New York.
